    The Lotus Europa looks really, really good without the rear spoiler, and especially in that orange colour, you've done a grand job there mate👍

      How do. Thank you very much, definitely agree it looks much better with the spoiler delete. It’s a proper lotus colour as well so I’m Happy with how it turned out , looks good in fading sunlight . Cheers as always fella

    Your Europa looks lovely, Andy! Pretty nippy too, even in stock form. Hehe, yes, those pogo shocks need to be shown the bin! Looks like a blast to drive though. All the best, fella! :O)

      Hi Mark how you doing? I was surprised how nippy it was in stock form. It was really fun to drive but those shock really do need to go. Hope the Escort build is going well

    Looking pretty good, with out rear spoiler, bumping all around th place ! Definilty a nice kit, you did a good job with this one. This color add a sweet vintage vibes.
    Thanks for tips, that should be helpfull when I build mine.
    Good luck with you Bear, thats a lovely car. I just finish mine. That was my first rebuild.
    The perfect clothes set for the Halloween modded car ! Cheers.

      Cheers Adam, the shock are terrible but with some oil dampers it will transfer the ride completely, that’s really my only fault with it. Cheers

  • @RCBirds
    @RCBirds 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This bouncing makes it even more feel like a vintage car.😉 Although it's a shame they don't put oil filled shocks into the kit. Thanks for showing and explaining the key features Andy💪👍

    • @seanmcd72
      @seanmcd72 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ?? Vintage cars of that age definitely had actual dampening going on...

    • @RCBirds
      @RCBirds 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seanmcd72 I don't know if I understand your comment right. So I checked my dealer's homepage. This ReRe has definitive friction shocks. Like shown and said in the video. For me an actual damping are oil filled shocks. Or maybe my English isn't good enough and I got your comment wrong. Then I appologise

    • @andyrobinsonrc2480
      @andyrobinsonrc2480  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No worries at all glad you enjoyed it, and yes I really wish they would put oil cva shocks on all their kits, never mind.

    Wow.that looks brilliant in that orange color.Reeeeeally nice.Period correct i would say .Am i right seeing that the battery is located in such a way it is "screwed" onto the chassis?like..you need to unscrew stuff to replace the battery? Thaaank you for cool video as always by the way. And the Frankenstein T looks ace!!!!Greetings from Norway ,Stefan

    • @andyrobinsonrc2480
      @andyrobinsonrc2480  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Stefan hope your well. The battery sits in the middle of the chassis with a plastic top plate that has two holes to go over to pins with clips through them. Cheers about the T shirt , I love horror films ;) glad you like the colour on the Lotus, it’s a proper lotus colour

    • @TheCarTakerGarage

      @@andyrobinsonrc2480 Cheers,mate,and yeah..doing good here.I hope you are too? So it is somewhat better than the TD4 battery arrangment then...?i got a bitofa Td4 vibe when seeing that chassis...for some reason. Yeaaah Horror movies are ace.Both proper old school ones, If you like zombie ones...you should check out an old one ,from 1977, Shock Waves...preeeetttyyy cool movie.All depending on your taste that is.I was suprised at least :) Yeah i heard ya on the Lotus color..and it reaaaally finished it off nicely. Greetings,Stefan :)

    It turned out really cool looking. All I have seen really is box art versions and I like the orange! She is a bit bouncy but that is an easy enough fix. I would like them to include the oil filled shocks in more kits but then again I would love to not see plastic bushings in them either but I think that is their jam and they are sticking to it!

    • @andyrobinsonrc2480
      @andyrobinsonrc2480  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ha ha yes it looks like it’s a Tamiya thing that won’t change , plastic bushes and friction shocks :( glad you like the orange it seems to have been a bit of a small hit ;) thank you and keep up the good work

  • @jonwold
    @jonwold 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Looks great in Orange! I put Yeah Racing 55mm oil shocks on mine, runs really well. PS does your car have massive toe-in on the rear wheels and toe out in front? Mine does, Looks silly but it handles nice.

    • @andyrobinsonrc2480
      @andyrobinsonrc2480  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jon. Thank you , I thought orange was a good colour as well. I run the yeah racing shocks on my mf01x they work pretty well. Mine was totally kit stock apart from bearings, yes it needs that set up to handle correctly toe in rear for more grip , toe out on the front to to gain more turning entering the corner. Cheers and enjoy your lotus
