    And they say people with anti-social personality disorder don't have a conscience. "Snitching just ain't the right way to go. It just isn't" blows that theory all to hell. That's having both a conscience and morals higher than the average non aspd individual.

    Def one of the things I learned in jail is don’t ever listen to other inmates about your charges. They never have any clue how your case will pan out, everybody has to put in their opinion and it always just goes how it’s gonna go.

      @@dovenatale4857 I didnt even know who my lawyer was. Public defenders office sent a different person each time. I saw 8 different lawyers and went from a 10 year plea with 85% and mandatory 5 yrs of parole. To 5 years 85% 5 parole. To a 3 flat. I think I spent more time in the county jail than I did prison. I cant even remember how long I did total but my parole was only to the end of my 3 year term instead of the bonus 5 years you get with the 85% stip. I think I did 26 months in then 3 in a half way house and 6 on parole. Either way taking that first deal is hella stupid even if they got you on camera ! Always threaten trial. They didnt read me my rights either. But it doesn't matter because the cops will always lie and say that they did.

I make over $130,000 a year, but because I was reckless with my budget, I have a tax liability and I lost my car. Sometimes it was hard to get out of bed. I would pray that God would just allow me to not wake up in the morning. You give me inspiration to power through. I believe God puts people in front of you so you know that you can make it and for that I thank you.

    I'm so glad you were able to turn your life around Jessica. In my 60 years, I've lost too many friends to alcohol or drugs. I was heading down the wrong path when I was young, my saving grace was getting hired by Amoco, they had a zero tolerance policy for stupid behavior, and I decided I liked the work better than being stupid. I hope your video's help many people "Fix" their lives.

    I'm 19 years old, I've been watching your videos for a long time and I just recently got caught up in a really bad situation involving theft from my job. and I was so scared because I had never committed a crime before. I ended up getting fired and had to be escorted out of job by police in front of 2 of my coworker who are probably talking shit about right now. but thank God the officer let me off with a $65 fine instead of bringing me to court. I say all of this to say that you've really helped me realize that everyone in the world makes mistakes, and despite those mistake I can still get passed it and become a better person. The only way people can grow and evolve is to make mistakes and learn from them.

      I have a best friend of the last 30 years. We gree up in South Central Los Angeles together. We called his Uncle "the Black Lex Luthor". He was the greatest criminal of all time. He got sentenced over and over to decades of time but always got himself out with the law. He once told a judge in open court that he knew the law better than the judge because he had been a criminal way longer than the judge had been a judge. He is an old man on a walker now with arthritis slowing him down. He was a bad man. He used to get in trouble and give the police his fraternal twin brother's info to the cops (my friend's dad). Is that worse than a snitch?

    Your story reminds me of my son. He was hit over the head with a gulf club by a new girl friends e - boy friend. He almost died. The hospital called me (even though he was 23 at the time) because he wanted to sign his self out without medical attention. The police officer that called from the hospital said your son's injuries are severe . I have seen people with less injuries than his but their dead. His head was bleeding so bad they wrapped his head like 30 times. When I got to the hospital he was just walking out and saw me. I told him under no circumstances was he leaving. His friend was they and said dude let's look at you head. His friend took a picture and nearly pasted out. My son took his phone and saw the picture and said oh my God. I couldn't look, but said exactly. He had over 35 stiches. The cops try over and over to get him to testify who hit him. He would not and could not because if he did he would be a dead man. They will kill snitches in prison or he would have a hit put out on him. So this jerk got away with it. Didn't matter as not even a year later my son was killed in a motorcycle accident (another story). He was in a coma on his 25th birthday and died 2 days later.

    When I got caught selling heroin the cops tried the same thing with me. They told me if I didn’t tell I would spend the rest of my life in prison and so on and so on. I was 21 at the time and thank God I was in the right state of mind and I didn’t tell them anything. I don’t even know how I was able to get out without serving any time. They have been following me for weeks as well. It was the scariest thing that ever happened to me

    Our legal system needs to be addressed!! It’s ridiculous that they can hold someone without a trial for months and years. And the fact states aren’t required to allow assess to legal research is crazy!!!

    • @TheArmybrat12
      @TheArmybrat12 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brittany Mann that’s usually because the prosecutors and defense are trying to make a plea agreement instead of going to trial. If they can’t come to an agreement then it proceeds to trial. Plus the defense can file a bunch of different motions that require hearings before they can go to trial.

    • @brittanymann2713
      @brittanymann2713 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ArmySister2 - i realize that but I think that things are drawn out on purpose to pressure people to take plea deals. Also, that does not account for lack of access to laws and legal materials. My husband works for a public law library in Illinois but many states aren’t required to have public access. Many states are also now copywriting laws so that people have to pay publishers to view the laws.

    • @TheArmybrat12

      Brittany Mann oh I don’t disagree with you that our justice system needs some major improvements. I misunderstood your original comment as saying you don’t know why cases take so long. My bad 🤗

    My bff is serving a 30 year sentence for 58 g, from Fort smith. I had 9X that and got 12 years, out of Little Rock. I was suppose to serve 3.5 years but only served 2 bc I got accepted into a reentry program. Before I left I helped my bff file for a time cut. I haven’t heard from her in 3 months, even though I write her every weekend. I don’t have any updates on her time cut but I have a feeling that is why she hasn’t written bc she doesn’t want to tell me it was denied. 🙏🏻 💙💙💙

    12:00 Police in USA isn't obligate to Mirandise during arrest, only before interrogation. If the don't whatever you say during interrogation isn't admissible on court.
    When you ask for a lawyer, you have to specify that you want lawyer during interrogation. There is case in Michigen when suspect said: ,,Give me lawyer, dog", and supreme court interpret that like he wants a dog who is also a lawyer.

    My house was raided earlier this year (for weed, of all things), and me & my partner refused to snitch. As a result we were both arrested, evicted, kicked out of school, and lost our jobs. Still waiting on our sentencing but I know for a fact if I snitched and got someone else's door kicked down I would never be able to live with myself. It's some shit but we knew we were breaking the law so we just have to learn from our mistake

    Most states actually don't require officers to read you your rights on arrest unless they plan on questioning you and they do not have to read you Miranda until you get questioned, and they can question you, after you ask for a lawyer,but nothing said before Miranda or after asking for a lawyer will be applicable to be used against you

      They have a case going on where I live. They had to throw out the interrogation because he wasn't told it could be used against him. In her case, it sounds like there was a mountain of evidence stacked against her. She didn't tell them anything anyway so it probably wouldn't do her any good. I'm not a lawyer, just saying what I read in the paper.

    • @roberteltze4850
      @roberteltze4850 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I recently discovered your channel. You have a very real and inspirational story . I hope you keep at it you're probably going to touch and change more lives than you'll ever know. There's another benefit of not snitching that you haven't mentioned. Not having to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life. The people you were dealing with don't forget a snitch and eventually snitches pay. Also I hope Randy doesn't give up and when he gets out he's successful and stays clean.
