I thought Clive would be my obvious favorite between the two brothers, but NOPE. Joshua definitely stole the show lol. Ok, I think I'm more grounded this time (watched the game and analysed it more carefully). But the first fight was needless...those were traitors he was killing ! Clive thinks this low of Eikons ? He thinks their protecting god would simply burn them without cause, even though an assassination force is proof of betrayal from the inside ? This is the guy I'm supposed to root for ? And don't come to me with emotions, he did not know his father was dead by this point. As far as he knew, he turned to protect his father from doom.
Weird place for this but ok? This is video about Joshua. That I made. I spent hours on. Not the place for complaining about another character entirely. 👋
I mean, when you put characters like Joshua in front of me, I guess I'm being a bit unfair to the game (still need to form an opinion on Clive, though I do love their relationship). But I'm somewhat of a veteran to the saga. Isn't it natural my standards for it to be high ? Especially when this game is somewhat of a reash of "FF 2" and "Tactics", but I feel the original sources are better ? I mean, even the controversial "Stranger of Paradise" felt more creative and unique.
@@mrseucliffex I'm trying to change my opinion about it. I'm reviewing the game, in the hopes of catching something I may have missed the first time, because I feel I might being unfair to it.
