That's fantastic, thanks for posting! But for the first time do it yourselfer, I would recommend loosening the top (fill) plug first to make sure you have the right tools and can get it loose. You don't want to drain the fluid out bottom plug and then realize the top fill plug is stuck or you don't have proper tools to reach it. I also think loosening the top plug first helps the fluid drain better and more quickly.
Great video! I have a 2022 LS, and LOVE it. I might do this myself, now that you've shown that it's not a terrible ordeal. One question: I'm still not sure where to place my floor jack so that I can use stands (and where is the best place for them?). I used my own best judgment when supporting it to undercoat with Fluid Film, and the setup seemed to work without causing damage. Any advice?
Hello!!! There are 4 Jack points....2 per side. The front one is about 3 to 4 in behind the front tire. And the rear jack point is about 3 to 4 in in front of the rear tire. You will see the metal is double built up in that area. The jack point is only about 3 in wide in each place. The manual should have them pointed out pretty well too in a picture.
Hi, tell me please tell me what is the total length of the extension of the ratchet wrench at 3:29. I will also need to change the gearbox oil soon, so I will also need to buy an extension but I don’t know the length. If you could make a video on how to change antifreeze, it would be very cool.
For my 2019 the owners manual lists the service interval at 97,500 miles. Doing this today. Curious whether the 2.2 quarts fills it “up to the fill hole” or if doing so would be more than 2.2 quarts? Thanks.
I ordered a 2022 Spark and 4 days later was told they could only process the order if I opted for the automatic instead of the manual transmission. I basically told them no thanks. I can see how auto transmission maintenance and failures are more of a money maker down the road.
I was incredibly lucky to get a 2022 LS with 5 speed. Had to wait 6 months for it to come from the factory, but was worth the wait! Going to the grocery store feels like I'm driving in a rally, terrific fun. A CVT would make this the most boring car on the road.
2.8 liters more or less / mas o menos. Pump the fluid in until it starts coming out of the hole. And then you are done. It's not exact like the engine oil. Good luck! ¡Buena suerte! It's pretty easy

What’s the sizes of the Allen sockets ? 10mm?
Very good video. Not sure that is loctite? Could be thread sealing compound?
Ah yes that could be as well

First, open the fill plug and then the drain plug!
Thanks brow ❤

Yes! I have a severe allergic reaction to automatic and CVT transmissions. I don't want anything to do with them.
How many litres does this box take?
