Great tips! I have learned something new in each of your videos, I didn't know about the hide one (well maybe a long time ago but just like the video it is hidden in my brain somewhere) there was one thing kind of confusing about the shift control/cmd A wanted to add everything on active artboard and some of the text to speech recognition was pretty funny but I understood the speech without it.
Hi What is the software that you are using to record your screen and what is the gear that you use to do your tutorials .. if it possible can you make a tutorial about that Thanks
Hey there :) I use 'QuickTime Player' which is free with my macbook pro and I think only downloadable on Apple Macs, but I am not sure. It's very simple to use but I might do a tutorial on it..
Satori Graphics Thank you for that I want to start a channel for illustrator tutorials and i need to know what gear do i need and haw to do the tutorials if it possible to help me with that it will be great Thanks
Well I bought I fairly inexpensive MIC because the built in MIC on an Apple Mac is not good enough. Apart from that everything else I use is free with an Apple Mac. So the software for editing and the screen recording software is on there too. You will need to look into SEO for your TH-cam channel be cause TH-cam is a search engine like Google, and this is how people will find your videos. So you need to focus on tags, titles and descriptions that contain good keyword search terms. Check out Roberto Blake on TH-cam as he has many good videos for people wanting to start a channel. I will say this though, making TH-cam videos looks easy but it really isn't. To get anywhere on this platform you need to put it A LOT of work, and to make it benefit you financially you need to put in at least 1-2 years of solid work before hand.
It took me around 4 months to get 100 subscribers, and then I got to my first thousand after another 4-5 months I think.. and that is quite me using SEO. But yea the best thing you can do is research everything, Roberto Blake's channel is a good place to start :)
Do you know how to unite a design but keep it different colors? I can't have paths intersecting my shapes or the machine will randomly cut lines into it
Hmmm, you could try and merge them in the pathfinder window, instead of 'unite' The other option would be to make a compound path (command or control 8)
Just a quick upload in this series but I think these keyboard shortcuts are really helpful. I am moving to uploading 6 days a week rather than 3 starting today by the way :)
Tomorrow 4 ways to utilise the blending modes in Photoshop for cool effects and uses
THANK YOU
