Thank you for letting me live vicariously through both of you ladies. I'm so inspired to go on my first time solo cruise for my 60th birthday celebration. Any suggestion on what cruise line to travel on
Thank you so much, Jackie! A cruise for your 60th would be nice! My two favorite cruise lines are Celebrity and Virgin Voyages. But the best for you will depending on what you're looking for in a ship. If you're not familiar with the different lines, I would recommend booking with a travel agent (especially a solo cruising travel agent) who can find out what you like and suggest the best ships for you. Jenn is an agent and a solo cruiser. But yes, I think you would have a great time!
You two are my favorites of the solo cruise vloggers! As I continue watching both of your videos, I realize that we have the same cruising style. That’s why I connected so easily with your content. Lol! Love seeing what you’re up to and picking up tips and tricks from you all. 🙂
Hi Ladies. My first cruise ever was solo on the Celebrity Ascent. We had our solo gathering and dinner together. Both of you were very nice and helpful. Thanks for answering my questions about cruising.
Oh wow, Melissa! The Ascent? You started at the top! I'm so happy to hear that our vlogs helped you. That's what we both want to do...share our experiences to help others and answer any questions we can. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Oh you are going to CHILL!!!! lol That sounds so great! And unless you just want to bring your own, depending on what cruise line, you can ask for a robe. BUT, no, they're not plush! LOL You will have a great time!
This is 44 minutes. My comment will be outrageous 😂. Love you guys excitement and enthusiasm. Gonna just listen, enjoy and take mental note. Thanks for showing me it can be done solo, not alone. My husband always says go head but that double occupancy no joke. Even some of the solo prices a bit gauging. It really should be half. Ok. I’m rambling. Let me listen 😂.
Awwe... I missed this. I love watching both of you ladies. I've learned so much. Hopefully one day you 2 will host a group cruise together. I would definitely attend. Looking to get over my solo fear soon. ❤
Oh yes, Meka...we got to get you over that fear of solo cruising! And thank you so much for watching and supporting both of our channels and commenting!!!!
Cheryl you out here writing books!? Yes I caught that and had to pause the video to Google😂. I am going on my first cruise next Nov and it look like I will have a good book to bring with me.
Me too! And EXACTLY! I don't want anyone calling me or knocking on my door...lol. I'm happy to connect by messages or when we cross paths on a ship! LOL!
Thank you, Lisa! And you can do it! If you're worried about meeting people, NCL, Virgin, Celebrity, MSC are great options for either a daily meetup or meetup on the first day to connect with others. I believe after your first solo cruise, the rest will be easy!
I’m so ready to do my first solo cruise. I have cruised with others and even did my first group cruise in 2018. I have discovered I will like some alone time on a cruise.
Yes! Maybe start with a short cruise...but if you already know you like cruising and like being alone, you're going to want a longer cruise. Just book it!😀
So me and my boyfriend booked a cruise for Feb 2025. Now he's crying broke! I've never even cruised before i don't know what to do but i know in my heart i don't want to cancel this cruise
Drink packages depend on how much you drink. Generally speaking, it's usually around 6 drinks a day to break even. But you can estimate by looking at what it includes, finding out the average cost of drinks on your cruise line and determining how many drinks to break even for the TYPE of drink package your purchase (many offer two different packages). For me, I may get a drink package for shorter cruises or ports that I've been to and I may spend a day on the ship. Longer cruises, I tend not to buy it because it's not worth it to me. The longer I'm on a ship, the less I drink later in the cruise. But everyone's different.
Yes, each cruise is different. If a cruise line doesn't have good food will not sail with them again. Does JennDanielle get food with extra gluten? As I go shopping I see more gluten free products out there. Don't like bars. Like to book Shore Excursions with the cruise line. They won't leave you behind. Eating by myself isn't so bad. Belong to Cruise Critic. Very few other Cruise Critic will identify themselves to you. Thinking of trying a group cruise. Nothing is free on a cruise. It is either included in your fare or will have to pay extra.
Harlan! Where have you been?! LOL Yes, extra-gluten and gluten on the side...lol. There are more gluten free products on the market now than in 2010 when I first had to go gluten free. And they're so much better now. Yes, ship excursions for me! Yes, you should try a group cruise! Thank you for watching and commenting, Harlan!

Thank you again for leading the way Sig and for having me! This was so much fun to rewatch especially since I’m approaching solo cruise 15 now!!
15?! Oh you been cruising! LOL And yes, this was a GREAT throwback. I enjoyed seeing this again!
You both is the reason I decided to solo cruising. My 1st cruise is in 2025 ❤🎉
Awww!!! ❤❤❤ That is so great to hear! So excited for your first solo cruise next year!
This was the conversation that finalized my decision to solo cruise. 🚢 🎉 I honestly don’t worry about paying double occupancy.
Oh wow! I am so happy to hear that our conversation helped you with your decision and I'm so glad that you have no regrets!

Thank you so much Norledia! And yes!!!! Love to connect but be on your own schedule...lol Thank you so much for watching both of our channels!!!
Just wrapped up my first solo cruise and can definitely relate to JennDanielle’s experience.
I hope the positives and not some of the mistakes she shared. Congrats on the first solo cxruise!

Planning my first solo cruise for next year! I'm packing plush bath robe & bathbomb..LOL
Oh you are going to CHILL!!!! lol That sounds so great! And unless you just want to bring your own, depending on what cruise line, you can ask for a robe. BUT, no, they're not plush! LOL You will have a great time!

😂Yes, but ages ago...lol. Back in 2004, 2007 or so. But yes, they're both on Amazon.com under Cherlyn Michaels. I hope you enjoy it!
Great show Sig. Lots of knowledge in this video
Thank you so much, Bill!
Lol, because of you 2 ladies I took my first solo cruise on Virgin Voyages. It was a blast. I know that I'll do it again. You ladies are so inspiring
Yay! That is what we both LOVE to hear. And that is what we want to see. Thank you so much for watching and supporting!
I started solo cruising 2016. I love it 🥰 I don’t give no one my room number, because I don’t want to be disturbed. 😊
Me too! And EXACTLY! I don't want anyone calling me or knocking on my door...lol. I'm happy to connect by messages or when we cross paths on a ship! LOL!
Cruising on vision of the seas for Thanksgiving. Enjoy
Yay! I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving cruise! It's a great time to cruise!
I believe I caught this when it was originally released. Cool to see it again now that I know you both a little better. Solid advice!
Yep! This was 2 years ago and the advice is still valid today!
Went with my wife the day after Thanksgiving on a cruise. Got a good deal.
That's actually a great time to book. There's usually a price drop between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I love you both. You inspire me to solo cruise but i still have to build my confidence and do it.

If you can do it by yourself....DO IT! I guarantee you, you won't regret it AT ALL!
Go for it!! Make all about you!❤❤
@derrickadrake7458 Hey Derricka! Thank you so much for commenting!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Going on my solo in 2025!
Yay! You are going to LOVE it, I'm sure!!!! It will be here before you know it!
Do you by the drink package? This is a huge question I have is is it worth it?
