    A few years ago I literally got a six pack doing, every two days, 30 minutes running + this 5 minute abs workout (for 3 months).
    I am glad I found the video again. I want to get back to that state.

    I remember doing this workout back in highschool, I was 17. I did this routine for 3 or 4 months every night along with a drastic change in my diet, I lost about 12 kilograms from January 2012 to may / june 2012. After those 5 minutes I would do side plank and sometimes push ups. The memories... thanks for the video

    Watched this all the back in highschool, and 8 years later I still go back to this routine whenever I want to core fat quick! Its amazing what 5 min of this everyday can do

    5 years ago, I used to do this everyday (With two days rest), as well as other workouts that changed depending on if it was leg day or arm day etc. Over the course of... maybe 6-8 months, I went from size 16/18 to size 8/10! Fantastic! However, after having Spinal Cancer, I was in too much pain to do any exercise anymore. 3 years of this passed and finally in 2016 it was found and I had surgery to remove it, 3 months down the line today I FINALLY DID THIS WORKOUT AGAIN! I couldn't do a lot, and I've lost a lot of flexibility in my hamstrings to do the mountain climbers properly, but I DID IT! I'm so happy! Time to lose the weight again! ^_^ x

    Ahhh here is where it all started,doing this at most 12 times a day for 3 months and saw very good results,now this has became easy but I will do other workouts and then come back, I really wanted to thank you mike for this video man,thank you.

    I miss you mike!! First saw your videos back in 2013 and I followed each of your workouts and motivated me so much to do much more complex exercises! Nobody motivated me how mike change did. I was in the best shape of my life. Going back to these videos is what I need to get myself back to where I used to be. Hitting a plataeu sucks.

    Lmao the people complaining in the comments about how this doesn't work but then right after go to mc donalds to get their daily burger, fry, and milkshake, and jokes aside just don't eat right. This only works if you eat the right stuff get this through your thick skulls. They also stay up all night on social media and crap. I hate people saying this doesn't work but then right after go drink and eat unhealthy stuff for gods sake. I'm a pretty skinny guy but had some belly fat, after 2 weeks it was gone because I ate right and combined this with other workouts. So yes, this DOES burn belly fat if you can take care of your body, just like any bloody workout.

      Yes, only 2 weeks. I was pretty chubby and it only took about 1 hour of doing belly fat burning exercises, plenty of sleep, being in the right environment, and etc. And water man... a lot of people look at water like 'eh' but once you start drinking large amounts of it each day it's amazing what it does. Shame most people never try it though.

      My first line of advice is to avoid those cheap tricks like lemon water that help you burn fat, while they may actually do it it gets you used to thinking it's all going to be a breeze. You have to put in a lot of work and set aside a lot of time. Most people never do it and you probably never will but once you do it's amazing. Also, drink lots of water, and I would recommend this video's exercises combined with light jogging or running. Or both. You also need to go to bed very early and eat well or it's all for nothing.

    Gonna try to get back into this again, when I was doing it almost everyday a few years back I was losing a lot of weight. Then ingrown toenail kept me from doing and when it finally healed I didn't have the same motivation. Three years later got I gained more weight and got stretch marks :(
    My point is that hopefully now I use this motivation that I got now to stick with it. Stayed for the whole 5 min with some trouble. Wish me luck guys, I wish you all luck.

    As you've said Mike, I've learned that burning fat the most efficient way is by working the highest number of muscle groups at one time. I started following your vids about two weeks ago. I started at 210 lbs. I'm down to 203. I decided before I started looking for videos that I wanted to join the Air Force. your videos have inspired me to really change my life of a couch potato and work on myself. I was even able to quit smoking cigarettes after 7+ years with ease. I've never known the power of eating right and working out. it kills depression, gives you euphoria, helps you become who you want to be. I will show before and after pictures before I go to BMT. Thank you so much Mike, you seem like a genuinely nice guy that wants people to get fit and that really inspired me.

    i do this first thing i wake up and before i go to bed. ive seen insane change in my elly since 3 weeks ago since i started. i wasnt really fat but skinny enough guy nit super skinny, had an inch or so of belly fat near the bottom of my lower 4 abs but now i see them all. now im doing different and more exercises with these and soon enough when abs fully ripped will start drinking protein shakes and hitting gym hard !!!! great video mike

      Like 2-4 weeks and it depend on ur bodyfat, if ur skinny you will se results very fast, but if u have alot of fat it will take time to see the results that you want, you have to do this exercise twice a day, when u wake up and before u sleep, and u have to eat right and do other exercises during the day ofc. for faster results

      Trust me if u put on 20 pounds of muscle your metabolism will spike one pound of muscle burns 50 calories every hour twenty pounds of muscle? Thats 1000 calories per hour burned doing nothing!

    I was 11 when i did this for 3 months it actually worked and i have had a sixpack ever since, i did and i still do sports to today so ofc im fit all the time but i think this cemented my sixpack always visible and im not skinny otherwise!!!

      You won't loose any belly fat by doing this, you can't burn fat on a specifik spot. You loose belly fat by eating less than you burn, calorie wise. If you really want to get fit, begin with Starting Strength, a beginner lifting program.

    Tried this in 2015, and gained weight back now I’m back trying too make sure I’m doing it the same it works seriously works.. I started doing it in the morning and night and then going running in the am drink water and get your protein!

I always play any game with starting 12 first and get rest for 10 seconds and second time 10 and rest and third (last) time 8 is that right ??       How offensive people are these days. Simply pause the video (E.g. 01:13). You see that his shoulders are much wider below humerus than above, giving this "photoshop" illusion. When I saw his picture ads I instantly thought he was photoshopped, sending me here.

      Emmanuel Wang well technically you can "photoshop" a video but your not using photoshop. Body modification vfx is the new make up. Captain America and Benjamin Button are good examples. Essentially it's masks, tracking points, maybe some 3d prosthetics, all depending on what look your trying to go for.

      Yeah the simplest way is the best on this one! Fast walk for one hour every morning, nothing special. Every 10 minutes he can try jog for a minute or two and walk again. Till he can turn all of his hour to jogging! Then he'll be able to do all kinds of workout.. and EATING CLEAN the most importand...

    people. stop asking how long til lyou see results, we dont know your diet, you can do these exercises for a whole year and not see any changes if you are not dieting , this is to increase metabolism, but metabolism wont mean shit if you cant burn off what you eat . if you want a general idea of how long till this starts showing you gotta tell us your current calorie and carbs intake and size and current weight etc.

      its hard to know how many youll burn even with diet and exercise, but there are some calorie burning calculators in the internet that can give you a estimate based on weight, amount of activity a day and diet. what i used when i was losing weight i just checked my body fat using a naval body fat calculator i found searchign through google, if my body fat was going down 1 pound of body fat a week it meant i was losing atleast 3500 calories a week.

      jwr gvg Depends what works for you, you don't have to follow his steps exactly. Some people can do this fast, some get tired fast they need to take it step by step.. I tried his steps b4 and I actually got good results!

    That's not going to do anything to get rid of fat. Diet is the key to weight loss and you can be assured that this guy watches his diet carefully. So lean diet along with cardio will do it...burn the fat off.

      ***** I think its personal choice as to exercise before or after cardio. I always do 30 minutes cardio and then do weight training after a 20 minute rest. But it takes cardio to burn off calories and the more high intensity it is the more it burns off. Low intensity workouts like weight training do little to burn calories and they make you more hungry.

      You are obviously flawed. Mike has said multiple times that he did not make any huge changes to his diet when he shed all his fat, he simply used the his afterburn workouts to lose weight. It's simply stupid to say that the intense cardio workout Mike just performed "is not going to do anything to get rid of fat." While diet is important to weight loss, exercise is much more vital.

      James Ginn The thing with burning calories this way is it builds muscle and adds cardio. Judging by your profile pic you are a biker and I think that is awesome, you should definitely stick with that, don't think I am trying to change your mind about that, because I am not. Building muscle burns calories quickly because it takes more energy to run and carry muscles than to store fat. That is the main reason why these short period of time exercises show any results at all. I agree, 5 minutes is way too short :P

      James Ginn If that's you in your picture...I think I'll pass with your "500 calorie burn in 45 minutes" workout. By the way, I wasn't saying that the 5 minute workout was going to burn loads of fat, I was correcting that idiot that said "That's not going to do anything to get rid of fat. Diet is the key to weight loss and you can be assured that this guy watches his diet carefully." I said it once and I'll say it again: Mike did not make any dramatic diet changes when he began losing weight.
