I don't have Adobo seasoning in my kitchen. I'll have to check the stores here in Upstate New York. We just moved here and live in a rural area. I looked up the ingredients of it and had all of them so I made my own Adobo. I have it on hold until I make some chicken fajitas. I look forward to trying your recipe, thank you for sharing. This is how I made my own: 1 TB Himalayan pink salt, 1 tsp. granulated garlic, 1 tsp. mexican oregano, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder. I tasted it on my finger and it tasted ok.Wishing you safe and Happy Hollidays 2022-2023
What a pleasant and professional video. You are very good at this and I encourage you to keep at it. I'm happy to say that I've subscribed. Greetings from Santa Fe.
We had this for dinner tonight and it was delicious! The marinade is really amazing. I used lemon and lime juice (we ran out of limes) and the citrus flavor was bright and flavorful. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Thank you so much for simplifying it, I don't have a cast iron skillet like the other sites I've seen and when I seen yours it pretty much was my last hope. Lol for real I didn't have olive oil either but when you used Canola oil I said O, I got that and everything else plus I added 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Man, that's good eating. Appreciate you Lady for the recipe.😁
Thank you!! Man that marinade is bomb for real! Got me trying to figure out what I was doing with my life😂Gonna see if I can make a really good steak marinade next year to share!😉
I don't have any either, I posted what I did to substitute it. I looked up the ingredients and improvised by making my own. The ingredients are basic kitchen seasonings. I listed the amount used in my comment to her. Have a blessed day.
Goya adobo is a Puerto Rican seasoning not Mexican. FYI, this Puerto Rican adobo, which is a dry blend called seco and not the traditional Mexican marinade, Goya adobo blends salt, garlic, oregano, and black pepper. It's the classic Puerto Rican seasoning. Goya also has adobo seasoning that includes lemon, cumin, bitter orange, hot pepper, or saffron.
