  • Mazda over the years has created some pretty amazing sports cars. Everything from the classic Mazda Miata to the rotary RX-7. The Mazdaspeed3 was a wildcard however - lots of torque steer and one of the most gnarly hot hatches on the market. With the new Mazda3 Turbo it seems like Mazda wants to be back in the game...but in a different way. So what's it like living with the Mazda3 Turbo? Let's talk about it. Thanks for watching and new uploads every Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday!

mazda is trying to stand out of other economy brands by going with a little of premium feel and i must say this interior is one of my favorites right now , minimalist , not alot of buttons and no overwhelming 50 inch screens , very well balanced interiors

I drove a mazda 3 hatch at the end of 2019 and absolutely loved it. Their interior was honestly a massive shock to me, it felt way more expensive than it had any right to be for a 26k car lol. and it had a lot of tech that I didn't expect to be in it as well.
All in all, I say their attempt at going upscale at a lower price point is working. I would absolutely daily one.

While all the other brands get more angular and covered in fake vents and creases, Mazda seems to be the only one sticking with smooth lines and dancing curves. I approve of their design language, theirs are some of the only new cars that don't look fucking atrocious.

This review couldn’t have come out at a better time. I just bought my 2019 AWD premium hatch, and i bought it because I felt it was as close as I could get to something that would suit my need for a daily driver and an enthusiast.
To be honest I felt self conscious because it’s an automatic (I couldn’t find any decent manual trans cars I’d enjoy building in my area because I’m from the middle of nowhere and the roads are rough and the snow is ridiculous etc. etc.) but I’m glad people are supporting the car and it’s potential. My goal is to build a fun daily that can put up a decent track time. The paddles are nice to have at least. It’s never going to be as engaging as a standard but it’ll be comfortable and clean.
Thanks for the confidence boost my guy

360 degree camera, 250hp turbo awd, sporty, fun, hud... Sounds a lot like an f30 328i.You get get one for way less than 36k if you buy used, you could save a lot. I bet you could get a 2018 340i for around the same price, with every feature and then some, 100+hp more and similar fuel economy. A CPO bmw with low miles, 3 years old and the extended warranty is perhaps the best buy you can make. Unlimited mile warranty for 4-5 years, basically a bumper to bumper warranty. The Mazda will also have the resale of a pair of underwear, as great of a car as it may be they don't and this won't hold their value.

I've owned 4 Mazda3's and I'll say this is definitely my favorite one I've owned. Mines lowered which definitely helps making tight turns but once you install a strut tower support brace it's like night and day difference. I will say the torsion beam is definitely a setback from Gen3 hatch that had 4 wheel independent suspension. Overall my favorite car Ive ever owned.

I bet it is! We rented a naturally aspirated awd one if these for a 1500 mile trip. It wasn't exciting to drive although it did drive very nicely..
Ive been looking for a speed3 or even a 6 for the right deal, although the hatch and great mpg with a speed 3 has me sold. Think i finally found the right deal, so God willing i will be driving to check it out and hopefully buy it in the next couple of days-- its a 3 or so hour drive, but thats fine for the right deal!!

But his actual TH-cam channel is under James Spiller. Please comment back on his channel if you wanted to review on my Bronco. I also would appreciate it if you could help with the repair if you do I will buy lunch. If we do agree to this meet me Wendy's near Hopkins Road in North Chesterfield Virginia. Now I realize you think that Virginia is a crappy town but I want to bring some Nostalgia back the review one of your cars and my car together. Great review and awesome content as always. Mazda is definitely in a different market than it was a decade ago as they are now competing with luxury brands and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. As I get older, my tastes in cars has changed a bit. But I’m afraid many of these companies that are getting rid of the affordable fun cars are going to lose the younger audiences that might have become attached to those brands to keep buying as they get older.

This car being a hatchback people always will compare it to the MS3. I feel this has the heart of the MS6. I test drove this and I used to own an 06 MS6 and the instant torque and power to the ground reminded me of the MS6. Both being AWD I think Mazda thought about the MS6 when building this car. The MS6 to me, always felt more of a grown up car when compared to the MS3. The Mazda 3 Turbo is just that but smaller and lighter.

I miss this car , I definitely enjoyed driving this little hatch in the snow. Plenty of power and a beautiful interior, my only complaints were some of over the top tech in it. Can’t stand electronic parking breaks but that’s the deal now.
The HUD saved me on some tickets for sure and the AWD felt great in the snow especially with some sweet blizzaks. I had GT in white first and then traded it for the turbo in poly metal grey and in white with that red interior it looks amazing. Add the Corksport exhaust and it’s sounds nice. Damn

I drove a basic Mazda 3 hatch in 2019 and I loved it. They look amazing in hatchback form and their interiors are shockingly nice. It felt so premium and upscale for it list price of 26k. It also had a lot of options that you'd expect to see on a 35k+ car, but was on a 26k car. it was also pretty quiet too.
I'd Totally take one of these as a daily while my mustang gets relegated to a weekend toy.

  • @franklock123
    @franklock123 ปีที่แล้ว

All that comfort stuff.... if people really wanted comfort, you can get comfort and all that other tech in pretty much any new vehicle. Its all standard. Every new vehicle is comfortable with nice interior and up to date techs. Im sure if you compared the mazdaspeed3 to a 80s-90s car, the speed3 would also feel alot nicer(as in comfort). But people dont collect and adore classic cars for their comfort. People collect fun toys. And stop with the "grown up" adult talk. No matter how old a man gets, they will always be a kid at heart. Men just get distracted by responsibility and having to set a certian "image". But at the end of the day, a man who cant fully express his true inner child is a depressed and suppressed man. As men, the more we age, the more expensive our toys become. But we will always have toys.
