What is Front Matter?
Front matter is the opening pages of a book-anything that comes before the story starts. For some books, this will consist only of title page and copyright page, while for other books the front matter will be more robust. Front matter offers a reader their first impression of a book, so it’s important to make sure it looks right-and professional. So what might be included in the book front matter?
