Having stayed here three times this is a pretty accurate review. We try and stay here at this hotel every time we visit Orlando as we love the location on I drive and the pool area. Yes the cleaning could be better but other than that there is little to fault with this hotel for the price you pay.
I think having stayed here on three occasions over the years , that bang for your buck you can’t go wrong . Location is perfect for I drive easy to reach from airport . As I normally hire a car it’s great for me as at night can walk to a wide variety of good restaurants and have a beer . Agree with you tip your housekeeper . Why wouldn’t you !! It goes along way to making your stay perfect . My one grip is I am not a big fan of Resort Fees but to be honest that’s my only real gripe . All in all for a family of 4 best hotel complex on I drive . 👍
I loved the resort, This resort had terminator salvation arcade machine, I used to play it Everyday once I finished my laps. The receptionist were Super kind, I was like..9-10 then. Our family went to the Miami Beach, Disney Land and Universal Studios.
I loved this resort, the Hotel Room was fine but the air conditioning was very noisy. Service at the bar was relaxed shall we say, but still enjoyable. Staff were friendly, food was nice too. We had no problems with the shuttle. Housekeeping was ok too. I'd definately return there.
The cleaning is an important factor to a lot of people. For floors to be that dirty they would not have been cleaned prior to your check in, dirty socks and feet don’t happen like shown here comes from just one or 2 days of your stay. When that is witnessed it makes me wonder what else has been skipped.

Excellent Vlogs. Just found your channel. I have been to Orlando 13 times and stayed in 2 of the hotels you have Viewed. Rosen international ( quality Inn international 7600) as it was called when I first stayed in 1995, I found out it was one if not the first to be built on international drive. As for the Avanti have stayed there the last 3 times I have been to Orlando. Really liked the hotel but when i last went here may 2018 and found internet not so good and had to pay extra $5 for super internet. Keep up the good work 👍

The last 3 times I have stayed has been in the Avanti so I would highly recommend this hotel for its location to the restaurants and entertainment. Most of the restaurants in your top 10 are in walking distance to the Avanti Hotel. As I am writing this just booked to stay in the new Universal Hotel Endless summer on International Drive for next may. Just hoping with universal opening this hotel things start to get refreshed that end of international drive as for the last 10 years things started to look run down the top end of international drive.
Yeah Endless Summer looks like it’ll be good, I plan to do a video on that. The problem is I’m eternally resentful for it being built over what was my favourite waterpark in Orlando 😕
It sort of depends for each map. Some are owned by the relevant theme park/hotel, and some which I’ve designed myself are owned by me. By ‘no copyright’ do you mean open source?
He!lo your reviews are so helpful I am planning a Nov trip and have two days to decide on Rosen Inn and Advanti Resort and so far Advanti may be the winner, but still not sure, I'm staying alone flying from UK and getting a Disney five day park hopper with my package I wanted to stay at a Disney Budget hotel as I have done in the past but they aren't any available left in my budget, ok so my concern is the shuttle to the Disney parks and staying to see the fireworks as you said there wasn't a shuttle back that late, is the shuttle at Rosen better? and which hotel would you recommend? I am really confused now.
Hi Maureen, thank you for watching! Those two off site choices are two of my favourites for money saving. Endless Summer Surfside Inn is another contender but costs a tiny bit more (video on that coming out next week). In terms of shuttle for the fireworks, I must confess I’ve never used off site shuttles for this, but I’ll look into it and get back to you 👍
Am going here in few weeks and added breakfast but doesnt seem to be ceral or anything suitable for kids. Should I cancel it and go elsewhere for breakfast. Am soooo nervous about my hols been single parent 3 kids with regards the rooms and hearing about cleanliness and leaks so hopefully il get nice quiet room and we will have best holiday ever. Am going bring extra money for taxis just to be on safe side
Hi Denise, I wouldn’t cancel it over the breakfast situation personally. I’d probably look into getting some cereal and milk for the rooms maybe for some healthier breakfast options. Rooms are luck of the draw. However, one of the good things about this resort is the service, so if you’re not happy with the room on arrival, speak to reception ASAP to get it sorted. I’ve not done this personally but apparently you can see the fireworks in block 3 (facing outwards). I would expect you could also see them from building 4 near the i4. Thanks for watching!
Nice video. Let me ask you a question: you mentioned 14 dollars for resort fee but the image shows 12. Which is it? And also, while filming the room, the image shows a microwave but you didn't mentioned. Does it have it?
Thank you! If I remember correctly it works out as $14 after tax so I think that’s what I’ve done here (a British habit). Vast majority of rooms have microwaves (apologies), worth mentioning to reception I would say if you need one. Thanks for watching 😁
I would say so absolutely. It’s not the closest to Disney, but to be honest, not many places are, unless you’re willing to spend a lot. International drive isn’t for everyone (mainly those who advocate staying on site exclusively), but if you want lots of great dining options, and want to be close to the universal parks, it’s perfect. What things in Orlando did you have in mind that you wanted to do?
Great review, we had booked this hotel but with Thomas cook going bust will have to go with another company , Can you tell me out of the three hotels, motels , resorts you went to which one is the best, for nice rooms, atmosphere etc ? Thanks 👍
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! I think if you can get hold of a renovated room at Avanti, these might edge it, but you do pay extra and a resort fee for Avanti. The rooms at the Rosen hotels seems to have a darker less up to date vibe. But Rosen rooms seem to have less maintenance issues. Atmosphere wise, Rosen Pointe Orlando or Avanti are a tie IMO.
PS, sorry to hear about the Thomas Cook situation. Hope you’re covered. They need to sort this out or consumer confidence is going to seriously hurt the industry.
@@TheFrugalBrit hi thanks for the info and advice , my wife says the Rosen looks old fashioned and likes the look of the Avanti, when we booked the Avanti with Thomas Cook they gave us a standard room when I emailed the Avanti they said I would have to pay extra to get a pool view, I presume that the standard rooms are the block facing the car park, I dont think those rooms have been renovated, you will know better than me, its a shame about Thomas Cook we are lucky as we are covered, dont know how long it takes to get back our money , glad you posted your videos on the hotels and restaurants I really enjoyed watching them and you tell it like it is good and bad, oh is March and April a good time to go to Orlando and is it cooler ? I WENT THERE. That place was a jerk first when we walked into the room there was poop on the toilet IT WAS A TOTAL SCAM almost $500 FOR ONE DAY my family and I wanted to live DONT GO THERE
stayed her last yr & going back for 2 nights 2021, loved the pool area. food was great, found it very clean..no issues at all

It’s a good choice! Can be hit and miss with the room you’re given though from experience. My fave location on I-Drive.

Would quite like to do that one, have thought about it as it’s a bit different. I’ve fond memories of Homewood Suites when I was a kid.
