Will not be watching Dune Prophecy. Its not based on any work from Frank Herbert, but is an adaptation of the The Sisterhood of Dune book by Brian Herbert. Brian Herbert's greedy and disrespectful mistreatment of his father's work was abhorrent. I'm personally not gonna watch any media that is adapted from his books. Most Dune fans have the consensus that his work is apocryphal because it directly contradicts Frank Herbert's work in not just canon but also spirit. He has made a career out of milking the Dune name. Please only watch the movies that are adapted from the original 6 dune books by Frank Herbert.

The people who worked on the series and starred in it, have nothing to do with your opinion on what happened in the books. Why make them suffer because of that? Many people find them to be their favorite you and some others just happen to be the opposite. If you don’t want to watch it that’s perfectly fine, but to tell others not to for your own reasonings which ironically are selfish in nature as well kind of feeds into the problem. I say watch the first episode! HBO wouldn’t have made it if they didn’t believe in it!
