Nice seeing you both Love Birds connecting to us ❤. Looking forward for more Love on your next Vlogs😊❤❤. Godbless you Mike & beautiful Grey with your Network.
Starlink is good for those who travels a lot but if you're planning to use this as a streaming connection or you can rely on while gaming at home i highly suggest to just get a fiber line. the latency is too high even if you have a good internet speed. you might want to wait a year for the satelite upgrade.
Lifesaver for me :) I run both Starlink and the local service. It has saved me multiple times already. I also both the ethernet adapter because I noticed there is a big loss in signal with the wifi. I no longer have that problem. I'm loving STARLINK :)
Hello Mike & Grey…, thanks for sharing your initial reaction about the Starlink, It’s kinda disappointing tho, my husband should watch this video coz he’s very interested to get one.
My download is about 182 mbs and about 8 mbs up in Arizona. Sometimes the speed varies. Sometimes I get faster upload. Originally, I got about 40 to 50 mbs upload. It slowed after more people got it.
I just ordered mine. Here in an island, where the nearest mobile tower is on the next island 15km away and you need to go to the beach just to get mobile signal for your phone.
I was order hmm never recive hardwear but recive a bill . Trying contact to starlink but on web is any contact. Rubbish service. Trying to refund all costs about 600 pounds ! on his poor web only show me not avalaible service WTF is that
ooohhh I've been looking forward to this review, thanks Mike and Gray! 👍👍. you also tested this in NCR which may not be a priority for Starlink, so best to try it out in the boondocks and beaches because that's what Starlink said they will prioritize service for. FYI the Internet business here in the PH is extremely monopolistic so its not surprising that Starlink service is not the best here, its no secret in the Tech community that PLDT, Globe and Dito sabotage each others infrastructure and services. I wouldn't be surprised if the main reason why Starlink is able to enter the internet market in the PH is that there was some low key agreement with the Big 3 that they leave the major Metropolises alone (Metro Manila, Metro Baguio, Metro Cebu, Metro Davao, Metro Zambo), so to get a real objective test Mike and Gray you really gotta push the limit to what remote service does Starlink really provide, which isn't a big thing to ask for because Starlink has satellites, the expectation is that they SHOULD be able to provide moderate to fast connectivity in the highest peaks and the lowest valleys 😏
Starlink is a satellite based internet. It uses microwave frequency and so, you need to have an unobstructed line of sight connection between your satellite dish and starlink satellites. No matter where you are in the Philippines, you should get the same signal. Right now, I think, Starlink has 3 ground (earth) stations in the country. They are in Nueva Vizcaya, Quezon Province and Pampanga, And a fourth one is planned in Davao.
Thanks for your Reaction Video on Satellite Internet Mike and Gray... I'm very busy during Capiztahan Festival 2023, I forgot to watch the previous video and you upload videos twice a month....
Starlink sattelite internet by spacex power by complete setup of solar panel, inverter, controller and battery.its a good choice when you reside in the Province mike.
That's really cool Mike that Starlink WIFI it's like buying a game console that you can bring anywhere with you and play anywhere but it needs faster speed. Take care🆒🆒😎😎
Just had a look & bit of research - looks great for province community use too, emergency contact etc especially with a solar powered large power supply. For those saying about sabotage against Starlink from other suppliers they should note that Duterte and BB Marcos both pressed hard for Starling to come to the Philippines so hopefully (fingers crossed) it will stay.
Hey Mike...Im planning to retire in the Philippines clsoon .How much do you pay for Globe Internet ? In a month ?? I will appreciate youre reply ... THANKS ❤
Just to give you an idea. I can’t really say much about Globe internet coz I use Pldt and it’s bundled with other services as well. But I got a Convergence internet service for my son’s rented condominium and I’m paying PhP1,675.00 (about $30) per month. The home internet prices are about the same for all providers, just a difference of a hundred pesos more or less.
the ping value in ur test is very disappointing. average 166ms. too slow latency. it should be 'at least' below 100ms to use it for connecting to nearby countries(for streamming, gaming). i wish it have shorter latency soon.
Never seen someone so excited for 100-200mb internet service which by todays standards is still so slow and that is only if you get it in peak location and weather conditions. It's life changing to those who could not afford or can't get access to internet in many countries. It will really help in post typhoon emergency. Emergency kit check, snacks check, portable generator or solar panels check; star link check.😀
Yeah, And it will really helps a lot to the provinces where the data signal are very slow.. this is really a game changer in all of the remote province in the philippines
We’re like that whenever we have new gadgets and the something new to you…😂putting it on top of the car… but be careful not to leave it😂…better put inside the car…try it inside the car while driving.,if it’s have connection.
Hi Mike! Do you know if it’s possible to subscribe to Starlink only whenever I need to? Say, can I cancel after a month then resubscribe a few months after? Thanks!
I think that's where a VPN app is needed, that's another service not related to Starlink. Starlink provides internet connectivity in remote places which is highly dependent on where you actually are at so that the satellites knows where to give service.
That’s awesome ! that’s really the problem in the Philippines every time we go home.. INTERNET is a big time for us coz we really need to connect with our kids … they always wanted to know WHERE we are & WHAT we’re doing !!!
Starlink showing up all over the remote parts of the island in Siargao. A true game changer!! 😎
👍
This is one review I've been waiting for before I purchase starlink. I hope to see more on your starlink exp.
Nice seeing you both Love Birds connecting to us ❤. Looking forward for more Love on your next Vlogs😊❤❤. Godbless you Mike & beautiful Grey with your Network.
Hi Mike and Gray, where did you order your Starlink and how much did it cost you?
Starlink is good for those who travels a lot but if you're planning to use this as a streaming connection or you can rely on while gaming at home i highly suggest to just get a fiber line. the latency is too high even if you have a good internet speed. you might want to wait a year for the satelite upgrade.
Can anyone please recommend a compatible extender/repeater that works well with Starlink?
That's a cool power supply. What is the name and did you buy it in the Phils?
Lifesaver for me :) I run both Starlink and the local service. It has saved me multiple times already. I also both the ethernet adapter because I noticed there is a big loss in signal with the wifi. I no longer have that problem. I'm loving STARLINK :)
So the ethernet adapter improves the service. Which one do you have? I have the Gen 2 model.
Hello Mike & Grey…, thanks for sharing your initial reaction about the Starlink, It’s kinda disappointing tho, my husband should watch this video coz he’s very interested to get one.
bluetti - fantastic choice ! starlink is great ..a must have

This is what I read, the more people who come on board the slower it gets.
Whoo thanks for sharing this video of starlink that connects people .stay safe and enjoy your starlink .😄😍🙏✌👍
Notif squad. Yesss a vlog!
Hello :)
How much starlink set ready to use
Finally I'm watching you guyz again.. Missed your daily bloggs...
The speed depends on the location as they say but better have a slow starlink with a connection than globe and smart that has spotty internet.
I love it when I see peanut in your vlogs. Gives me assurance shes okay. I love peanut! q
Philippines needs to step up their internet services 🤦 more speed, affordable fees.

Finally a review!
Hi! Thank you for posting this video. I'm checking if starlimk works in a moving car?
Good vlog; at least you have another option for internet in the Philippines!
What was the cost of equiptment? And monthly fee?
27k and 2.7k monthly 😭
How many gadgets/person can accomodate/ use with this starlink?
Glad you got starling. Keep the box to safely pack during road trips.
just a question? what about the stability of the connection? is it good? and does the speed vary depending on wheather conditions??

Your such an excellent explorer..
Is this a one time purchase? I've heard it has a BIG monthly fee. Can the average Filipino even afford it?
Yeah. Siargao can be a good testing spot and during road trip. Can't wait for your next testing result.
Thank you for the review. Very informative.
Where can i order the starlink here in manila?
Thanks for your Reaction Video on Satellite Internet Mike and Gray... I'm very busy during Capiztahan Festival 2023, I forgot to watch the previous video and you upload videos twice a month....
Aw back to daily again now :)
@@MakingithappenVlog , please do- been waiting and wondering what’s going on with you 2.✌️
Starlink sattelite internet by spacex power by complete setup of solar panel, inverter, controller and battery.its a good choice when you reside in the Province mike.
is it passable trough airlines?
are you gonna pay monthly for that? or if you going to buy the starlink package it would be lifetime free payment ???
Yea
Thanks for sharing. I love it ❤
Thanks so much, vey informative video.
How much that it cost now. I need it so I can work in our province.
That's really cool Mike that Starlink WIFI it's like buying a game console that you can bring anywhere with you and play anywhere but it needs faster speed. Take care🆒🆒😎😎
You need to wait for around 15 minutes for the connection to stabilize.
Mike thanks for sharing. Would you mind sharing the process and cost? Thank you
Nice! Enjoy your new Starlink, guys, and I hope it helps and works out to your likings or expectations!

Maybe peanut thinking 🤔 😻it's out of my world moving itself.😺
I think it takes at least 24 hours for the system to stabilize. 👍😊👍
The drone shot in the ending was cool
Lol mine too, after opening the box the device was so dusty. 😄
Try the instructions
Speed is a bit underwhelming for the cost

just got mine yesterday and yes it's indeed look a bit dirty and dusty 😂😂😂
can't wait to use it on board ❤
howd you order?
In Siargao some of the local internet was 5 mbps so they were very happy with 200.
the ping value in ur test is very disappointing. average 166ms. too slow latency. it should be 'at least' below 100ms to use it for connecting to nearby countries(for streamming, gaming). i wish it have shorter latency soon.
Starlink keep sending up extra satellites up to 12,000 in total, so it will only get better and better.
Thanks for sharing
Maybe try asking Ron, owner of Presko Siargao how his starlink doing there, speed and everything
I'm home in a week to unbox mine and set it up. I'm way out in the Province. So I'm hoping it's exactly what I need.
Hello. Can you share your experience with starlink po. Thanks

Wow ☺️
Its so cool
My Starlink points almost straight up.
Hi Mike! Do you know if it’s possible to subscribe to Starlink only whenever I need to? Say, can I cancel after a month then resubscribe a few months after? Thanks!
Hm good question
Starlink is now offering the option to rent hardware with the residential service plan in UK. Probably it will be available in PH soon...
Get the roam version you can pause and unpause if you want seasonal use if it.
Nice
there should be no obstructions from the sky, like no trees or buildings
Disadvantage of it… not all games work. It detects I’m in another country where the game is not available.
Game?
@@MakingithappenVlog yeah any games you play on your mobile when connected to starlink wifi. One example, call of duty.
I think that's where a VPN app is needed, that's another service not related to Starlink. Starlink provides internet connectivity in remote places which is highly dependent on where you actually are at so that the satellites knows where to give service.
@@markfonacier383 Get a VPN and you are all set buddy!!!

Wuhuu hey guys
The latency 😢
Upload is very slow 😢 bad news for content creators on youtube. Good enough if you have no other option though.
Good but high ping bad for games.
That's still faster than our wifi
Yeah its not bad at all

Hey
Not so stable connection, high latency and time outs, specially during storm rainy season. Thumbs down for me. 👎😝
Starlink is overhyped.....
Hiw much is the plan? $599 for the device and $99 monthly subscription? Then receiving 200 to 300mbps? Is that a joke?
HaHa Ha
