我个人认为工作人员的衣服,不能跟钻井平台的颜色是一样的。粉绿色的话会显得更加显眼。Personally, I don't think the clothes of the staff should be the same color as those of the drilling platform.Pink and green flowers will be more conspicuous.

Excellent and educational. How astoundingly impressive! Your access and hospitable treatment aboard this marvel will no doubt fuel the BBC-types who want to see you as a paid propagandist for the CCP. Instead, I am sure that you are gladly allowed this kind of access because the Chinese authorities know that you are a true admirer and even lover of China and that you are eager and willing to speak and show the truth about China. You are actually a journalist and an honest one.

Great episode Jason, It is sad to think one oil rig in China has better food / internet / medical care then Australia 😂 The ending where u were showing emotion / appreciation for the workers on those rigs was awesome, But who knew when u were simply walking the streets of China showing how great that country is that now u get to do these kind of trips, Kinda mind blowing when u think about it, But keep it up mate.

One of my friends actually works on a container ship. He has been on board that ship for over 10 months now. And the thing is he is basically stuck there because of Covid. Many countries do not see seafarers as essential workers. But it is them who are shipping all the goods, oil, and vaccines to places where such things are needed the most. If anyone deserves our respect, it's the seafarers. Life at sea can be tough. And Covid is making it tougher.

Usually, we would fly by helicopter to the rig. The work schedule was 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. When I was in the desert in Oman, the schedule was 5 weeks on and 5 weeks off. Tough job, but I was getting paid in tax free US$!

Very good work by the maintenance team of the rig despite the rig being pretty old. Salute to the Chinese!

Your invitation to offshore rigs in China is amazingly well documented and lucky to be chosen as one of them. Congrates and keep it up.

Now imagine the same in the UK North Sea in the depths of winter. Did that in the early 90's, fun times.

It is not a sub. It is a fire-retarding evacuation/rescue vessel. It is sealed to protect evacuees from the seas of fire when there is breakout of fire at oil rigs that will spill the oil into the sea and spread the fire into extended area.

That is a emergency escape boat, it is sealed for rough sea when one inside, more or less waterproof, not for fire retardant or explosion protection.

Amazing! Your firm is getting professional to have a story line.
    3 funny parts:
    1. interesting chopstick...
    2. BSB News, no firming, no firming...
    3. Wind sock..
    But then a sentimental ending...
