It's how I try to play my games. I could totally let my friends make a mistake and get an advantage from it but I want to see massive battles with huge casualties so absolutely reroll them dice! Can confirm you half damage against devastating wounds with the C'tan as devastating wounds just means you can't take a save of any kind against it. The attack is still allocated triggering the necrodermis rule, halfing the damage characteristic.

Holy balls a 4+ invul AND 4+ fnp?! The necron GODS don't even get that. It really does seem that the number of 1s you roll gets higher the lower the number you need to hit/wound. Great game, love the comradery and good sportsmanship. It's really interesting that orc shooting is not that much worse than Necrons. If it wasn't for the reviving he would have scythed through your army on the first 2 turns. The destroyers however showed that new dmg profile on their guns is absolutely devastating if you can get through the invulns and FNPs.

He is durable and yeah it’s on a 5+ but we make up for volume or most of it the mek gunz and flash gitz are on a 4+ and yeah Nick saved well enough that I couldn’t decimate that first unit of destroyers had I I would have got through rest easier

You guys got a nice armies, you maybe have a bit heavy on the high toughness units for a friendly fight. Your friend played really well to stay on the game. 10/10 battle report. My latest love is a unit of heavy destroyers with the enmitic exterminators and the destroyer lord.

The damage characteristic is halved before the devastating wounds go through. So you couldn’t save it, then the characteristic is halved, then they become mortal wounds for the fnp’s.

Always good for necrons to win. However, Nick I do have a complaint🤣 well actually my body more does that wasn’t a Yule log it was the damn tree. It was lush but I suffered Saturday and Sunday for it

You are a great example of when losing or getting beat, you can be disappointed but also have fun and enjoy it, and when you’re winning and doing well, soaking up the victory but also not being obnoxious! @@IDICBeer no worries. maybe I saw it in a different report; I’ve watched a lot. I have a lot of the original lochust and heavy destroyers but they’re on the original smaller flying bases and the new heavies are on slightly bigger bases so I was looking for something to clip on the bases to extend them to the proper size

If you have more Destroyer Lords, use them with the other squads and use Hypercrypt, teleporting Lokhust destroyers each turn to shoot is fun ;)
