I always have tears in my eyes while I see the videos of Indo-Pak border. In my distant feelings, it looks as if my Dad and Uncles have quarreled over the ancestral property and I being their next generation can have a lawful claim on both sides.

In 2016 i visited this place from Indian side. It's called suchetgarh border in RS pura ( Jammu ). Actually prior to partion i think this was the road & rail link between Jammu & Sialkot. The Indian side border post also consists of some old railway station buildings.
We met a group of Pakistani friends, exchanged greetings and had a small chat, but were not allowed to come closer to shake hands.
I have very fond memories of that meeting in my heart. Common people of both countries share a common heritage and culture and are by and large peaceful.

This is great to finally see citizens of both countries able to shake hands and verbally greet each other. These gestures will improve trust which most important for peace and prosperity. Dirty politicians can only create hatred that has been seen since partition of the country.
