Please note, despite turmoil in Kashmir, Jammu has been very peaceful to any attempt to communaly destabilise it, and a large credit for that goes to the lovable Gujjars and Dogra Muslims of Jammu region, who would rather be than get carried away by the politics of religion and countires.

I am from Sialkot and yes the train line is still there which lead to Jammu. My father told us that they go to Jammu every day on bicycles.
Even now if it rains and you to your home roof you clearly see mountains of Jammu. Sialkot has the best climate because of Jammu.

My grandad and his family came from Jammu to Sialkot. They never wanted to leave but also forced to leave. It was either leave or die. He always said one day we will go back but he couldn’t and died.

Being a citizen from southern part of nation, we have different experience after watching this video. We understood that, visitors spoke different dialects and slang, though come from almost same place JAMMU and near by it. We felt that it was least exposed to citizens like us rather popular one at WAGHA. The BSF officer spoke and interacting with visitors really creating friendly environment and fabulous spirit of INDIA. Great and salute to our defense forces from Anakapalli, VIsakhapatnam, Andhra.

As an Anesthesiologist serving in Military Hospital ,Jammu from 1997 to 2000, Mr Vajpayee tried for peace with Pakistan ; but Musharaff returned this with a Kargil misadventure!. I know a little Dogri as earlier I served as a young Army doctor in Indian Army from 1979 to 1981 in Rakhmuthi in Chhamb- Jaudian .So long as the Pakistanis allow their Military to dominate there is little chance for peace!.

Great video. I am from pakistan I dont know whether border is open from pak side as well for visitors or not..if it would be opened then I would like to visit it and would like to talk to people coming from other side of the border. It's the government who dont let people live and stay united otherwise people are innocent on both sides and wish to visit and work together.
May we learn leason from our old mistakes as learnt by all european nations. Now they are united therefore are developing.
