I went bikepacking solo on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I camped out and stayed at the Portree Youth Hostel for a couple of nights as well. Amazing landscape! I saw the Old Man of Storr, the Lealt Falls and the Fairy Pools

scenery and cinematics are amazing, ty for video :)
but i came looking for the nitty gritty too, how do you sleep? where do you bathroom, how do you feed yourself
i have never left my back yard, i dunno what it's like cycling new unchartered tracks... to erect a tent alone, possibly in the dark, in a howling gale, to cook in said tent...
i don't know how to get a bike on a train or where to put it in a B&B, and i'm already too old hahahaha i also don't even know about cycling maps, are there special cycling maps? that would help a lot, i actually live on a national trail, but i just never go further than 30 miles in either direction haha...it just seems like an enormous leap for me....like going beyond my bubble...into the unknown...alone...i think watching other's full experience helps too :)

Love the Isle of Skye it's our favourite place to visit. If you go to the end of the road in Glen Brittle where the Fairy Pools are there is a campsite where you can camp right on the loch shore with the Cuillin mountains in the background. We love it there, can't wait to go back.

Another superb video. Stunning scenery on the Isle of Skye. I have to take my hat off to you for bivvying on Skye in the middle of the midge season - bet you never forget the smidge again! I did the same route to Skye from Mallaig back in 1999 and the ferry price doesn’t seem to have changes much.

Inspirational, great footage, thanks for sharing. Did you travel alone and do all the filming? It's hard to believe you can cycle and produce such stunning experiences, I tried but I guess you need some skills...great film! There’s a gate at the trail entrance where you can lock your bike up if you’re hiking up! When I went it was very very quiet as lockdown had been lifted that day.
