Oh those fairy pools are beautiful. Never seen them before. What a lovely harbor in Portree. The drone images really allow you to see things like the waterfalls and cliffs that you wouldn't normally see, so they bring a nice perspective to your lovely video. We'll be there in June! I can;t believe how crowded it's already getting. Looks like you still got some amazing shots and had an enjoyable time even with all the crowds though which is good. Thanks for sharing all the interesting facts along the way too. This video got us really excited to visit Isle of Skye again!

Awesome video and information. I'm debating taking my drone and the hastle with air travel from the US, but would love to capture some of the amazing shots/footage from Skye and other places we'll visit in Scotland. Did you have difficulty finding respectful spots to fly without "buzzing" around others? I do have my UK drone certification already and looked into places ok to fly. Thanks for recommendations. Definitely going to watch your other videos. Thanks,
Oh thank you so much, we’re so glad you liked the video! It was not difficult to find spots to get the drone to takeoff, we took the DJI mini and the Mavic Pro, so if a location was super quiet we opted for the mini. You will find Scotland gets very silent in some places, so it depends on the time of day and weather… we preferred to fly it when there were less people around. And Skye was absolutely our favorite place to fly the drone, the landscapes are so breathtaking 🤩
And just fyi, watch out for some locations that don’t allow drones, there will be a sign posted. Hope you enjoy your trip!!

You could definitely enjoy Isle of Skye without having to walk far, most locations we covered in both our videos can be seen from the road or the car park. The only longer walks we did with our kids was Old Man of Storr which was more difficult, so maybe avoid that. The Quiraing was fairly easy, and can also be enjoyed from near the car park. Let me know if you have any questions of any location in particular.

Nice drone footage ! quite a lot in yellow sssi s according to drone assist , did u get any permission or just fly , just asking cos doing it this year 🤔
Thank you! Hmm not sure about Drone assist, we’ve always used Drone Buddy and Isle of Skye is pretty clear of restrictions and safe. The app tells you wind speeds too which is helpful. Also, the DJI app will warn of restricted places 😉 Fly safely!
Yeah great video , did the nc500 last year and doing isle of skye this year , lots we want to do , Ooh thank you , will try drone buddy instead of drone assist 😀
