- I made this detailed video about making the Inmoov hand and forarm because I could not find any step by step video of it on the internet. As a basis I used the tutorial from the official Inmoov website. This video will take you to the point of completing the entire building proces. The next video I will post soon shows detailed how to attach the Arduino to all the servos.
If you have any question how I build some things or why feel free to ask in the comments below. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
This is WAAAAAY more helpful than the actual inmoov website.. Easy to follow and shows the mounting hardware size... Can you do more videos of the head and neck please?
Thanks so much for sharing this! All the tips and demonstration really helps.
Thanks
Really appreciate this video thank you 🙌🏾🙌🏾
this model is very intelligent. congratulations
without you i would be so lost, thanks
You probably don't do anything with inmoov anymore... but for those interested. I use a think needle to thread through the wrist and it works wonders :D
Thanks for your teaching!
Good evening bro
Superb piece of engineering
You saved this project for me, i printed it a year ago and abandoned it due to not being able to find good assembly instructions. Thank You.
Gary Oldham Your welcome!
Do you have stl file??
@@jeremyarmentia3770 how much cost required for that project
@@jeremyarmentia3770 i also want stl file
Can I get the designed file?
thanks very nice job very helpful!
And we never heard from him again 😅
Excellent... is there a part two?
Thanks.
Super Video thanks! :)
Maybe good idea to mention at 46:48 that the hand has to be inverted. Otherwise, excellent tutorial :)
Very nice
Hey, very Nice!
Question I recently downloaded the Arm from InMoov, and my SERVO pieces look different than yours???
They all have notches without Any Oval shaped middle?????
Tks for the vid, what kind of metal rod did you use?
Dear Xander, Can you share the servo pully link. I am having some issue with the tension and yours look to be on point. Thanks.
Hey mate just wondering is there going to be any more video's
where do you get that servo tester?
Can you be more specific on the JOF braided line. Is it 8 strand ? and what pound test is it?
The chart on braided line I saw on the web is: 0.84mm dia. 200 lb
can u please tell us the sizers of bolts and screws used????
How can I get the stl files for the modified/longer bolts you printed?
hello, thanks for your video that made me understand the assembly of my right arm. I could have the stl file of the hand bolts because on the inmoov 2 site they are different. thanks
Mine are different as well??
Mooie duidelijke video! Wat voor draad gebruik je voor de aansturing van de vingers?
With thickness 0,8
Pretty nice design, but how do you make it wearable?
Will an SG90 server motor work? It has less torque and its a bit smaller. But I can always adjust the stl files for it to fit so that's not a problem.
It will not work, the strings need to be pulled very hard to make the fingers move
What settings did you use for your 3d printer
can you share the stl files for the new servo pulleys you made reference to in the first of the video. Thanks
Doing this for my project but have been having trouble printing it to my 3d printer.... What settings did you use (infill, thickness, etc.) for this?? Thank you!!
In Cura standard settings 0.2 layer height and 20% infill. No raft sometimes support. But i always try to avoid using support
@@xanderdiy6658 thickness 1mm?
Where can I find the printing parts for the Servo-Motor at 0:35
What is the kind of batterypack that you use when you hook the servos up to the arduino? Or what type of battery can i use to do this?
3 times a 1.5V AA battery you can buy at any hardware store or supermarket
Which is the type of the glue that you used???
i found InMoov again and tried to watch the tutorial. i see rave reviews. but i'm wearing earbuds and its like volume drops 50% . VOLUME is an overwhelming factor in any video.
especially if i'm trying to pay attention.
i'm sure your view count is affected by 1 thing. Please boost your volume or just Re-record you're sound. This Project is to well documented n well done to suffer this manner.
Hi great video!
I was just wondering: Will you post the video on how to attach the Arduino to the Servos?
I'm having an issue with the forearm covering the servo pulleys not having enough clearance. Is there something you did with the forearm to create the clearance issue?
It is a very tight fit make sure you bolt down your servos in the holder very well. I did nothing special
Sir where are you now .
Please make more such video for us
Next time, will you try to do it with boxing gloves? It will be very exciting.
what is the diameter of the bdf tube u mention
Hi, can you leave a link for the ardunio board and servor motors that you used it would be very helpfull:)
This is for the servos

Where do I get the software to test the servos?
Hi, can you leave a link for the ardunio board and servor motors
From where you buy all these spare parts?
Sir may I get to know which Servo is controlling which movement of the arm.
Rajesh Rai Rai If you look at the servos from a top view the most left servo will do the most left finger, and so on. When you do the wiring you will quickly see it makes sense which servo will control which finger. If you start crossing lines from the fingers to the servos you are doing something wrong.
Can you give a link to buy the inmoov kit
please make the working 2nd part
Where I can buy the parts and things that I can make the hand
Where to buy the robot hand kit
Please share the link
Where can I download the stl file of the pulley you are using???
I really need to know
Cuz I didn’t find all the stl files
If u know please share it
Can't you share the stl of the hand screws that are short? I don't understand why they didn't update the Inmoov website
Can you provide the code that sets the servos at 90 degrees
can you make a tutorial of Inmoov head step by step
I am the same step for my Inmoov right now. Are you sure you wired the strings correctly to the service. By the look of it, it should go on the large spool, which is why it have hole in it?
Jonas Lastname it should be correct seen i have taken the concept directly from the finger starter. But on youtube there should be another video explaining the dubbel actuators
@@xanderdiy6658 I think he upgraded a few pieces so I guess we might have different revisions. Did you make more videos? Thanks for a good one anyway!
Jonas Lastname i have al the parts laying for the rest of the arm. Unfortunately because i started my uni master i did not found time to do it yet.
@@xanderdiy6658 there is a ton of people that need them in the inmoov community that wants them if you aren't intending to complete it. I printed everything but the legs, some minor work on the back left and the stringing of the fingers. I decided to go full out from start so I am cabling for finger sensors, but upgraded every servo to the biggest I could find that would fit decently and modded what was needed to fit them. Since I did that next step is redesigning the power distribution so it doesn't burn out at high loads, so there is still some work left.
Jonas Lastname nice! Have a photo of video also?
Thanks you for this amazing work , but there is one mistake ,
you attach the hand with the forearm in the opposite way , after i build the hole robot i figure out that it should be in the other way , so i take one day to open everything and reassemble them again , if you can just mention somewhere so new people will not do the same mistake
Thanks
Show us please what you mean.
How exactly should it be done?
Thanks!!
where is the other video u said you will download next?? :""(
Hi, can I ask what kind of string did you use?
Fish line multithreaded .18 he mentioned I did .20 200lbs same brand works fine
