I eat my sardines straight out of the can, also. I don't have an Insta-pot so I'll try my pressure cooker. Chicken and sardines?? I can't make a judgement until I try it but fishy chicken sounds a bit odd. Never know until I try it. LOL. Hi from the UK Anita. I was also put off by Dr Lisa's 'paste' so made mine as yours but without cod livers. A tip - dont peel your eggs, cut them in half through the shell and scoop each side out with a spoon. Thanks for all your recipes.
Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Can I just say how wonderful you look and how young you are looking with all the weight loss! You look so pretty, and I just had to share that with you. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes and your continued desire to stay on carnivore despite all the controversy that’s coming up and has been.
I tried this seafood salad today with a few changes: no cod livers, so I doubled the salmon, bones and all; no pickles or dill, but I added lemon juice and salt, both to taste. The extra liquid added to the creaminess and brought out a bright flavor. I also mixed in a handful of bacon bits. It made so much, and a little bit is satisfying. I enjoyed it, but I think next time I’ll just add sardines and no salmon. It should make a more manageable portion for just me, and I’ll still get in some omega 3s for my workday lunches. Thanks, Anita! I love your content for the 65 and older among us!

Hi Anita! Thanks for your "doctored up" version of Dr. Lisa's Seafood Salad recipe. Also, I'm a huge fan of LMNT, too, since I began this WOE (way of eating) on 7-1-23. I've lost 38 lbs so far and never felt better at almost 63 (in 5 months)! A little hack for the LMNT Chocolate Medley packs....for those that eat full fat Greek yogurt on occasion, take one of those individual containers ( I bought Fage Total 5%) and added about a 1/2 pkt of the Chocolate Raspberry LMNT mixed through (or to taste) into one tub and 1/2 of a pkt of the Chocolate Mint LMNT into another individual tub, mixed thoroughly. Seal up and place in freezer. It makes a nice "dessert" while getting your electrolytes in, too! Just wanted to tell you whatever you're doing with your hair, It looks beautiful! Thanks for everything! ~beth in FL 🌴
P.S. You can also take the leftover beef juice and turn it into beef jelly. I believe there are Carnivore videos on how to make this, season it, refrigerate it, cut into squares when formed.
So does your dogs eat ground beef all the time or do you give them part of the store-bought pet food, or a mixture of the two 🤔. Just wondering because as your pet gets older they're eating haven't seem to change so I'm looking for a better way to keep them healthy longer.
Very helpful video! The seafood salad is a great idea. I’ve struggled with trying sardines and eating canned salmon. Putting chicken with them never occurred to me. Perfect solution. And the burger in the instapot is a winner! Easy and practically mess free. Can really see your weight loss now. You look so good! Red is definitely your color.
I cook ground beef in the Instant pot every couple of days. My vet seaside I could add some dried herbs (just herbs, no salt) if I want to change the flavor a little bit). My dogs love it. I cook it 35 minutes on the meat setting.
I've been looking for a way to incorporate sardines into my daily diet, I made some this morning, currently without the cod liver as I ordered that from Amazon and it's not here yet. It's a lot milder than I thought it was going to be. I think this one is a winner! Thank you, Anita!
Oh! I need to try this. I love tuna salad, egg salad, chicken salad, salmon salad and I like cod livers. I am not fond of sardines so mixing them in with all the other stuff might make them palatable for me. In all of my salads like these, I also add lots of mustard along with the mayo. I am also going to try to make your beef tallow mayo. Also Carnivore Chef makes a "better than mayo". Sour cream, cream cheese and some lemon juice and garlic powder. It looked really good and he swears it is better than mayo. Thanks for posting this. You look wonderful.

Oh my god, Anita. I just saw a youtube from Jon Brett “ you will only understand if you are Canadian”. And there you were with your puppy in the video! Very cool.
I just made my ground beef in my instapot. I will do this alot it was so clean no grease everywhere. I will be making the seafood salad for my lunches for the week that looked amazing. Thanks for the tips and recipes ❤
After your sharing about cod liver I found it at a Mediterranean store and purchased their last 3 cans they had on the shelf. I absolutely love it!! Had to order a couple of boxes of them from Amazon afterwards. Will definitely try this Dr. Lisa salad made your way. Wow! Amazing amount of protein in that salad!!
This is great info! I had seen this on Dr Lisa’s channel and wanted to make it, so thanks for the reminder and the variation plus macros!!! Also helpful was the bulk ground beef cooking as I do this stove top at present. Anita, you are looking more and more stronger, leaner and younger each time I see you! Huge progress, especially this past 6 months! Very encouraging as I approach my 60th birth year! Thank you for continuing to share and help others. You are greatly appreciated and loved!❤
Thank you Anita, munching on my first time making this carnivore salad, definitely a winner... which is a good thing, because I over-bought sardines a little while ago! I used Chris Cooking Nashville's spreadable butter mayo and it was next level!
I love doing ground beef in my IP. I just put it in with a cup of water and then use a hamburger chopper utensil to break it up. I save the broth for soup or a base - let it sit and then when the fat solidifies I peel it off - gelatinous!
I also make this recipe, and I do blend it a bit to disguise the sardines. Going to make it like you did next time. Your salad looks sooooo good! Love this salad with pork rind chips.

Just watched a couple of your prior videos and you look fantastic! (Not that you looked bad before). Not sure what you have been doing but keep it up 🙂
Keen to try out this easy way to do ground beef! I eat it a lot and typically make it into burgers, but it's kind of a pain to have to fry them and the bigger they are, the more likely the outside will be overcooked so that the inside is at the right temp.
Thank you, Anita… ❤ love the little squeaky Anita… 😂 I was so excited that I already had all the ingredients in my pantry 😊 I’m making progress 🎊 🎉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💖

Any combo using chicken, anchovies, shrimp, salmon, eggs, bacon, Roquefort Cheese, Parmigiana, black olives, green onions. Adding appropriate seasonings to chosen mayo, or sour cream. I too keep a jar of the sardine and salmon salad in the frig and eat it daily. I like Gulden’s spicy mustard only sometimes using dehydrated onions or dehydrated garlic. I like Black Label wild caught salmon with skin and bones. Available where I live. Also many years ago I loved Subway Seafood salad. Shrimp, and crab!!! I so appreciate every video and you.
Thanks for your take on Dr. Lisa's salad. I'm going to have to try this! I have been incorporating some sea food lately, so this might be a good way to get in even more.

🤯🤯 wow! I was today years old when I found out you could do all that ground meat in the instant pot - genius! I am going to try the salad too -looks super easy! Thanks for all your inspiring videos Anita!!!❤❤🌻🌻
I love the seafood salad. I scoop it out on a pan, freeze it, then throw it in a freezer bag and freeze. Then it's easy to pull out when you want it! The pickles hold up pretty well! It's my go to lunch, I had it today! Thanks for a great video!
Anita do you have a video on how you come up with what you will eat each day? Are you planning several days ahead and writing down a menu so you know what to take out of fridge or what needs to be purchased ahead of time?
I don't like pieces but I don't like cleaning the food processor either 😅 I grate eggs when I'm making egg salad so the texture is smoother, but not paste.
I finally made the salad. I didn't care for it fresh made, but today it tastes better. Definitely don't want more 😂. Fresh it tasted too fishy, but it was better after the seasonings had time to go through (it made 4 cups for me). I also cheated and made scrambled eggs instead of hardboiled 🥚. I ground up everything but the chicken and bacon bits. I'd call it pâte and I'm sure it would be good on your carnivore Melba toast 😊.
I have a salad topper suggestion. I make Marie's eggwhite bread French fries. I fry them in lard. I cut up the leftovers into cubes and they are crispy and make great carnivore croutons.
@@KetogenicWoman great. I think the chaffles are a good idea and I will try that trick. I love exchanging ideas. Thanks Anita. I wish you were my neighbor.
I love your hair color. I love the trivet and beef rounds tips for the ground beef. I've always broke mine up and then struggled to separate the beef from the liquid.
Loved this. Never thought of using cod liver like that or cooking ground beef like that. Would love to see your pantry/freezer and how you organize it all. I can’t seem to get the hang of that and as a result cooking takes me more time or if I thaw too much at once, some of it gets spoiled. That’s why using the Instant pot for too much thawed ground beef is a great idea for me. I was afraid it wouldn’t be as flavorful if I didn’t brown it in a pan.
Wow Anita, it's been a couple of months since I caught up with your videos and you look fantastic. You've lost a lot of weight, at least it looks like you have. Great job!
I've had a can of sardines in the pantry for a while trying to get up the courage to eat them. 😂 I'm going to make a small batch of your salad & see how it goes. Thanks for the info!
I'm making lox over the next 4 days. I can guarantee there's no sugar in the cure and homemade lox is cheaper and more delicious than store bought. I do use fresh, whole dill but it only imparts flavor and I do not eat the herb. Redmonds course salt, crushed with a rolling pin works great for the cure. ❤
@@KetogenicWoman it's super simple. If you get an entire large salmon filet cut it in half. Most recipes call for sugar but I do not use it. Cover your flesh side with a layer of salt, don't be afraid to use a lot, top with fresh dill to cover then place the flesh sides together so the salted and dill sides are together and the skin side is on the outside. Then tightly wrap in a double layer of saran wrap and to weigh it down and place in a glass baking dish, then top with another baking dish weighted down with cans or water then refrigerate. Everyday just pour out the liquid that collects, don't unwrap. After 4 days unwrap, rinse lightly to remove the surface salt, it is ready to slice very thin and enjoy. I made a batch with a little allulose but found it wasn't necessary.
❤your videos, thank you for making our carnivore journey not just fun, but simple! My question is what do you use already cooked ground beef for? Do you have a video with recipes or ideas for pre-cooked frozen ground beef? Thank you Anita!
I don't have one video with all the things one can do with cooked Gr. beef but maybe I should! A couple things that come to mind are adding it to soup, making a gr beef casserole with cheese, carnivore bread.
It's this Queen of Thrones brand with the blue label. Sometimes they are out of stock so I would say any organic castor oil would be good. amzn.to/3tHo0A3

I just love you and have been watching under a different subscription, although I just subscribed again under this “moderation is a myth” handle. I was hoping that you could help me out. I was wanting to get mine and my husband’s story out and start a YT channel (maybe other social media platforms in the future) and do a “prep for success” type of channel and hopefully with your permission use your recipes. Eventually once I get a following, I would love to help the keto/carnivore community and highlight channels like yours and send them to your channel and website. The jars you used for the broth, are they canning jars? Have you ever canned your own ground beef or do you just freeze extra when you get a good deal?

I love the seafood salad. I scoop it out on a pan, freeze it, then throw it in a freezer bag and freeze. Then it's easy to pull out when you want it! The pickles hold up pretty well! It's my go to lunch, I had it today! Thanks for a great video!
oh good to know it freezes well!
Anita do you have a video on how you come up with what you will eat each day? Are you planning several days ahead and writing down a menu so you know what to take out of fridge or what needs to be purchased ahead of time?
I have many What I Eat in a Day videos but have never shared how I get there/decide What I Eat in a Day. It's a good suggestion!
Anita, I would love to hear your thought process on your menu planning.
Hi Anita! The salad looks really interesting as I am not a sardine fan. This might be doable. Happy New Year! Debi
Hey there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where have you been!!!!!!!! I have been worried!
I am loving it. Making a new giant bowl of it today!
@@KoppersKitchen I will be back! I have missed everyone. See you Friday night. It's been a road for me but getting better!
I don't like pieces but I don't like cleaning the food processor either 😅 I grate eggs when I'm making egg salad so the texture is smoother, but not paste.
I cook my ground beef in my slowcooker, 3 hours, stir every hour till done. Then drain and keep the broth.
Anita, you are getting younger and more vibrant, you look wonderful. ❤
Thank you! 💗
PS: get yourself a wide mouth funnel, like canners use ( available in plastic and stainless steel)
Somewhere in this house in an unpacked box I have that exact thing waiting for me to find it! 😂
I would never think to cook my ground beef in the Instapot. Love the ease
This is absolutely perfect timing for my plan to finally try sardines ❤thank you! 😊
Perfect! You won't even know they are in there!
Wow, your hair looks fabulous !! Thanks for Dr Lisa’s salad. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you! 😍
Best tip ever! I'll be cooking my 5lb rolls of ground beef in the InstaPot from now on.
You said make a meatloaf? How can you make a meatloaf with already cooked ground meat? Am I missing something here??
I was wondering the same thing. If it is possible, I need a recipe! 😃
I have not had seafood salad in a long time. Great dishes for your meal prepping
Thank you!
Anita, THANK YOU so much for sharing Dr Lisa's seafood salad. I watched her video and then couldn't find it after. Hugs!
You are so welcome!
I'm thinking that sardines might be good in my tuna melts patties or salmon melt patties. (tuna egg cheese for the melt)
So very helpful! Thank u! I’ll make both of these this weekend. Hope u have a wonderful weekend!
I have a salad topper suggestion. I make Marie's eggwhite bread French fries. I fry them in lard. I cut up the leftovers into cubes and they are crispy and make great carnivore croutons.
Oh cool idea! I used to do that with chaffles a few years ago. I like it!
@@KetogenicWoman great. I think the chaffles are a good idea and I will try that trick. I love exchanging ideas. Thanks Anita. I wish you were my neighbor.
This actually looks good. I went to her TH-cam and the paste I could not eat but this looks good.
Anita, thank you so much. I was very hesitant to eat my cod livers. Love your recipe ideas.
They are perfect in this salad!
I love your hair color. I love the trivet and beef rounds tips for the ground beef. I've always broke mine up and then struggled to separate the beef from the liquid.
Dr. Lisa Wiedeman
(“Carnivore Doctor”) is so great! Love her videos!!!
She sure is, I watch her all the time!
Well it won't have that cast iron charred flavor but you can take your cooked gr. beef and fry it or air fry it when you are ready to eat it!
Wow Anita, it's been a couple of months since I caught up with your videos and you look fantastic. You've lost a lot of weight, at least it looks like you have. Great job!
Yes I have, thank you!
You look fabulous! Love your shows! Thank You! @@KetogenicWoman
Great idea cook all beef at once❤
Looks yummy! Heading to the kitchen to make this for lunch!! 😋😋
I've had a can of sardines in the pantry for a while trying to get up the courage to eat them. 😂 I'm going to make a small batch of your salad & see how it goes. Thanks for the info!
Hope you enjoy!
ooooo, now there is something I'd like to try making some time!
Anita, you are so beautiful!! You are an inspiration!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
Ok… I might be able to eat sardines that way!!!🎉 Thanks Anita!! ❤
And throw your cod livers in there too, perfectly hidden!
@@KetogenicWoman I’ll give it a go!!! I did put cod liver in my tuna the other day! 🎉🎉🎉
woohoo! You are getting those omega 3's my friend! @@marthalove3784
Anita, you are looking fabulous 😊
Thank you!
Love this! I'm on it.
Great ideas! What is in sous vide behind you? My cat and I love to share a can of drained sardines!
It's my L.Reuteri yogurt, takes 36 hours to ferment!
So much information. I am also hunting the brand of castor oil you use.
It's this Queen of Thrones brand with the blue label. Sometimes they are out of stock so I would say any organic castor oil would be good. amzn.to/3tHo0A3
Looks great! Thanks for posting!❣
You are welcome!
Salad looks delicious especially since I am a fan of sardines. I am not a fan of ground beef, to me all the recipes taste the same. I did enjoy the group beef acrobat act❤😂. Love your hair today!
lol, was wondering how many would notice that! (The acrobatic meat, not my hair but thank you for that as well!)
I just have to say your noodle recipe I’ve made a few times and is pretty freaking awesome. I love it!❤ Living in a subtropical region it doesn’t really get that cold here, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for January because I want to try your Bacon Cheeseburger Soup recipe. Please let me know if it’s okay. Even if you say no, thanks for all you do! Always a fan, Laura (Moderation is a Myth)
Laura, yes please go ahead and use my recipes! The rule of thumb on youtube is to give credit with a shoutout and provide a link to the other channel or video where you found it! I do that as well for anyone's recipes that I try. Good luck with your venture and I look forward to hearing you and your husband's story!
Great video! Salad looks great!
It's my favorite!
I love your new hair ❤️
You are looking amazing!!!😊
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you, I think that a little bit of lemon or mustard will be perfect for this salad
Sounds great!
Anita, I made the seafood salad and want to let you know that it was very tasty. That will be a regular in my rotation now but can you tell me what you believe a serving is? My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I am a overeater And I have to measure, as I have no judgment when enough is enough especially eating tasty food. Appreciate your videos.😅
For myself I find that 1 cup is the perfect lunch amount.
Hey Anita, would you mind letting us know where do you source/buy the ground beef?
It's basically where ever I can get the best price. Wholesale Club, Costco, Save on Foods and then I also watch for sales!
Excellent thanks very much 😅
The jars you used for the broth, are they canning jars? Have you ever canned your own ground beef or do you just freeze extra when you get a good deal?
I don't do any canning, I just freeze things. Maybe when I retire!
Oh, I'm definitely going to make this salad - with bacon on top.
The bacon on top (or other crunchy meat) is my favorite way to eat it!
