Thanks for the honest review! A fair bit of this seems appealing; the combat's moderately interesting, but lacking (many) interesting boss fights is a flaw in any game (imo). Plus, repetitive menial quests often leave me wondering 'Why bother?' The alien's culture seems quirky & unique... but the NPCs are fairly indistinguishable (maybe a bit better than 'Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora'). You’re a hero. Gaming has seriously been lacking for awhile because of this. No one has gotten player movement right besides Naughty Dog and Rockstar for several years now.
Thanks for putting a reviewer on this game who actually played the game in 1999 like me. It sadly looks like another ubisoft openworld and there is no sense of achievement cause it looks very easy to kill enemies and traverse the world.
The original was an overly ambitious game that stood out because of its use of voxels for its 3D engine. Voxels were an incredibly rare thing back then in gaming. Unfortunately because of its overambition it failed to be that fun so once the bad reviews came out almost everyone stayed away.

This game is fun 👍. Was really worth it. But what genius had the great idea to make the scan button up and healing button down??? And more important: make the collect stuff an weapon change button the same???
Dialogue is awful, voice acting is terrible, graphics are dated, too many cut scenes to game play ratio, $60. This will get the skull and bones treatment.
Well its budget title, so it shouldn't be surprising. Overall its more of game for the fans of the original game that was cult classic for less than 1 million players than it is something that anyone who never experienced the original back in the day could truly enjoy
Does anybody have the feeling this would be an excellent Guardians of the Galaxy game?
