As a former british gas engineer, I can confirm the Makita P-46470 Service Engineers Kit is a brilliant piece of kit, they were even issued in a dark blue colour not your usual makita teal. Mine is still working after 15 years of use.

Sweet layout! I've had the Makita 12v driver set for probably 15 years or so. Mine came with an awesome steel case. At this point, the batteries are pretty much toast and I've moved on to a set of Dewalt drivers. That being said, I still love that Makita set for being lightweight, powerful enough for what I need and the steel case was such a bonus. Held both drivers, spare battery, and a charger. Even had a little pocket for bits and such in the lid. I think Makita does make some quality stuff, but like everything you have to be very choosey on which ones you get. Thanks for doing all these videos. Shadowfoam for my Stacktech kit will be next. :)

I absolutely love Makita since i was young. My whole Family works with it, from Hobby to Professional Jobs. I like that you differentiated between the Power Tools and Hand Tools, bc when it comes to Hand tools, it really is sad that they buy other Brands (or no name) Stuff and just put their Sticker on it. On Handtools I'm with Bosch, but i hope Makita gets better there.
