You made my day with the Demon 170 purchase. We were really upset with news of last car being stolen and stripped. We all grew up on Go Man Go car being worked on and tested at the drag strip. Can't wait to see what you do with your new Baby.

I have a six speed Hellcat and it likes to pop and crack a lot because of the standard shift. Sounds like I'm driving Steve McQueen's mustang sometimes. I put the Tazer device that keeps the active exhaust open all the time on it and the cracking and popping all but went away. Although I kind of liked the cracking and popping. Just an FYI for you.
Here's some crazy suggestions for a name: Dezestify (orange zest) Orange Fusion, Blazing Orange, Orange Peel. Demonic orange, (Don't laugh to hard)

I started following a long time ago....when you showed detailed repairs.....best channel and extremely glad your back with a vengeance 🔥🔥🔥🔥hopefully you will do the AAD suspension.....racerx demon 170 looks like the rear moves towards the front fender under heavy launch....

Congrats!! You’ve come along way since your original R/T Arrington build. It seems like yesterday having the ChallengerTalk forum discussions with you and a small group of folks leading the way with modifying your Challenger’s. So much of that gave Dodge the direction that got them to where they are today. Now a factory modified beast can be bought from Dodge with a warranty. Looking forward to seeing your first track passes with your sweet 170.

Dude the Demon is cool! I have a name for you "Life in the Fast Lane!" In my town back in the late 70's and early 80"s there was a Guy who had a Dodge Demon it was painted Black and had "Life in the Fast Lane!" painted on the back tail panel! He dominated street racing back in the day. It was built to the nuts and he was also one of the first two Guys to run NOS in a street car here locally! Very cool car with a reputation of winning street races here! Let me know what you think of that name for your Demon! It should give you life in the fast lane!
I have been thinking about names, my fav thus far is "Big John" after one of the original Dodge brothers. The other is "Traveller" after General Lee's faithful steed.

This car could not be in better hands to really uncover the strengths and weaknesses. Glad it rode well - the leather option adding some soundproofing was a a nice tip. Super glad your going to drive the car and will tweak it to work for the street. Tires that will last a little longer and be more street friendly was something you already had considered which is great. Sure you will come up with the right tire and wheel combination that works on the street knowing you have the OEM for the strip. One of your fellow Demon 170 You Tubers commented that the softer suspension came into play at higher speeds on the street, making him uncomfortable. Look forward to your content as I'm sure just a tire will change things dramatically. Good luck on your journey.
Names Blaze or Salamander- who was PT Barnum's horse who jumped thru flames and is also the term for lessor demon's in Hell. Nice Demon!

I totally understand being in a low place after having your vehicle stolen. My Durango SRT was stolen in may 2023. It took almost 6 months for the anger to go away. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to replace it with another srt but I really didn’t want to. Dodge has become a target for thieves and hooligans doing take overs. Didn’t want anything to do with any dodge product. That is the last piece of anger hanging over for me.

Congrats Speedy on the purchase. It's great to see you back in a "Hellcat". I have had a couple and when I would sell one and be without the supercharger whine I was miserable until I found another one. I look forward to see what you will do with it.
The flares on the back is the way they all should be, unless all wheel drive.
That being said, i think they should have tubbed them out.
Either a short solid axle or shortened independent axles and control arms.
But i must admit, the charger looks awsome as a widebody.
The widebody on the front of the challenger didn't look right at all.

when I seen your video on what went down on GOMANGO I was just sick to my stomach and pissed off about it too. The first thing I thought was I hope he can get his hands on a 170 and hopefully move on. if anyone deserves a demon 170 at MSPR its you for sure or close to it and not the crazy dealer mark ups witch is just insane. One of the best reveals from somebody getting a 170 ive seen you seem like a humble guy and not a showboater. so glad your back ive missed your videos. The first name that popped in my head was to name it SPEED DEMON.

I have not watched in a while. Very glad to see you back in action. I had already installed a kill system in my Redeye, but after seeing what happened to Go ManGo I put it on even at the track just incase. You need to tell us how you managed to get one of these.

Well, you've been calling it a street car. so put a street car on the windshield in the white lettering. And then over by the demon logo, put desire In some fancy cursive. It's an old play made into a movie. A street car named desire. If you do use it, I'm sure you'll figure out a better way to put it on the car then I thought of but I thought it was cool Just an idea.

I have seen the engine outside of the car, the sensor seemed to be placed right behind the supercharger, so between both cylinder banks. Maybe it is different on the production line 8:57 8:57 8:57
That's the fuel pressure sensor. e sensor is behind SC lower on crossover

DC is supposed to be coming out with a street tire/wheel package in a few months.
On the steering wheel, wear driving gloves and the oils from your hands won't get onto it that will effect it.
