Watching Brian lift weights that are lightyears ahead of where I'm at - "Ya, to be honest, these are pretty embarrassing weights for me". Well...fuck lol
So happy to see more training from you, your channel is one of the main ones that inspired me to start my own and share my training and opinions. Your old videos on how to start a channel helped me get cracking and the training videos provide great inspiration.
Strange to say but Neversate just seems to have a great energy that actually comes through in a video. Great video! And I have worn out all my Neversate shirts, which has cost me 30 lbs on all lifts across the board. Help! 😂
Rubish Extensions are so underrated. I replaced deadlifts for about 3 months with those, came back and my deadlift increased. One of the best moves for hamstrings and glutes
That Elite FTS bar is awesome. I use it for bench, rows, and overhead press. It saved my shoulder a few years back and allowed me to bench when a straight bar wouldn't.
Huh no crazy fatigue from tree cutting and weights are starting to go up. Imagine that :). Really excited for this next chapter for you Brian. All the best
you look so much healthier. I wondered how you did it, all the lumberjack work for the week PLUS training. I wondered if consistent over-exertion was making your medical issues more difficult to heal.
Some very interesting variations and movements here! that rolly sandbag thing looks very challenging! i need to try a band on the homemade t-bar thingie I have in my home gym. I think it'll work! Great to see you feeling so positive and enjoying your training again. if we don't enjoy it why the fuck bother?
Nice! I was expecting just one day of training. That weighted hanging ab set up looks awesome. Does anyone dry out sand before filling sandbags? Curious what others do because sand from my stores is always wet.
I totally didn't know that I should be holding one arm out on the single arm farmers walks until now. I feel like punching myself. By the way, I actually started doing front zercher carries with one of my handles, and it's working out very well. I was tying a tow strap around weight plates to do front carries, but that really was a real hassle. I think sandbags are probably a better option, but that looks like a pretty big hassle to me as well being that I don't compete. I reliably do front carries with the farmers handle, it takes minutes to set up, and I can easily add 5 pounds when I need to. It's a good option to have if your a normie.
Great Video Brother Man. Love the updates. Keep up the great work and stay focused on your degree. I recently completed my doctorate, and I know it's tough juggling work, life, school, and hitting the gym. But you've got this! Keep pushing forward and never give up. You're on your way to big things!"
It’s a vicious circle ain’t it? We train to help improve our functionality…but too much functional stuff leaves us too tired to train. Quite the conundrum.😊

Strongmen TH-camrs like you have really helped me rediscover the JOY of lifting and I haven’t had progress like I’m currently having in YEARS. Thank you.
The legend is backkkkk
Thank you, my friend!

Man, I've just been at it longer. You will be there in no time!
Dont compare yourself to others that hard man. Do your thing and be happy with the progress you make!

I am so glad Toby, I am honored to be part of your journey
Always good to see a new video from you. Stay healthy and stay positive, sir!
Thank you so much my friend!
Great video. I can't wait to try the Nala rolls.
They are a blast but are hard!
Loving seeing you back at Neversate and great to see the training videos again.
I love you so much ! Thanks for sharing your training !!!!!!!🎉🎉
Awe, thank you my love!

I really need to get on making new shirts. I will put that on my list so that hopefully they will come out soon!
@@BrianAlsruheOfficial excellent!
Shirts would be great but I’d also love to buy a Neversate banner or two for the garage gym!
@@joejemson109 my Neversate banner is essential to my lifts!
Loving the sandbag content!
Nostalgic seeing you at the Neversate gym and all of the old crew!
Happy to see these again.
As a man who does a lot of manual labor, it's nice to hear Brian confirm that it makes a difference on performance in the gym...
Weighted Hanging Knee Raises are the GOAT
They work really well
Rubish Extensions are so underrated. I replaced deadlifts for about 3 months with those, came back and my deadlift increased. One of the best moves for hamstrings and glutes
Thank you as always for the content and education ! All the best big man !
Thank you so much, my friend, I really appreciate that!
Oh heck yah good to see you back letting it rip. Fight that fight brother.
Looking great brian!!! Glad to see you getting after it, love seeing the crew in the background 😁
They always inspire me
I am in awe of your strength, brother.
I appreciate that, my friend
That Elite FTS bar is awesome. I use it for bench, rows, and overhead press. It saved my shoulder a few years back and allowed me to bench when a straight bar wouldn't.
It is my favorite bar to bench with!
Nice to see some training videos again, keep it going!
Very interesting workout. Thank you for sharing with us, Brian
Love the training videos! Great to see you back!
Awesome video thank you for sharing

I know, it’s crazy right? And thank you so much for the support, my friend.

Keep doing these videos!! I like seeing your form so I can try things
Thank you for watching them, my friend!

Uncle Brian has returned - you have been warned!
I was never, uncle Brian, there has only and always will be, uncle Nic
@@BrianAlsruheOfficial DANGGG! That’s me officially told. Apologies Uncle Brian.

In the UK you can buy kiln dried sand from any DIY store, that's what I'd use personally, want to avoid the sandbags getting too wet and going mouldy.
Next time we’re gonna need to see Nala demonstrating those Nala rolls! Haha
Where do we get the programs for a basic home gym - barbell 225 weights plates, pull up bar, bench and a few 30-50lb dumbbells
That pause squat is insane...😉... Any plans for '' Strongman Training for older lifters '' program ?
That’s not a bad idea, I may get on that very soon
@@BrianAlsruheOfficial I love you bro🤓
Great job brother! When you get in your 50s you’ll be damn proud of those “light weights”! lol!
I’m not far away from my 50s already! But I am fighting it every second that I can!
i liked the fat grips on the dumbell that was cool.
Rubish extensions mentioned 🔥🔥🔥

Try making a loading pin and using bumper plates. I have a video about doing that here on my channel. Costs next to nothing and it is super versatile.
You'll work your balance more if you keep your free hand by your side.
Hey Brian, random question - what watch do you wear?

Thank you so much Chris! The grad degree is definitely adding a different kind of grind but it will be worth it!
Do you have any tipps for emotional overeating or stress eating?
Btw: wtf? Uncle Nic without hair??? 😂
