Just picked up a 30 here in the US . With a couple of options like real leather and a comfort package it was very affordable especially since I'm a veteran and received 3k in incentives plus a little off MSRP . The 2.0 is plenty of power for me and my insurance cost are not high. After a week or so the basic tech functions are easy. With proper maintenance, hopefully there won't be any issues down the road
Surprised how the tail lights are similar to the X5 (only noticed it while driving behind a X5 40i yesterday) but the rear of the X5 looks so much better. The interior of the X1 or X2 feels better sorted.

What are you talking about? He never mentioned plastics in the interior, and have you even been in the last gen x3? Those had a bunch of plastics and shit low grade leather.
@@Sumodeadliftsarefake69haha . I owned 2019 and. Currently 2022 fully loaded. We can get merino leather in Canada for x3 untill 2025 when they made it available for USA as well from. Yes I test drive both m50 and the 30 model for the 2025 trying to trade my current one . The interior quality is just not there. Even tiny things like leatherette dash door tops metal handles buttons , leather airbag cover make a difference . Cpillar is plastic now along with side bolsters cloth for the front seats and head rests plastic. And lower dash in the new model felt like it came from garbage recycle factory. Old one had rubberized material . They even went to the extent to make the knee rest hard plastic where you rest your knee on the center tunnel previous model was soft touch . Rear seats don’t recline . Ambient lights gone from rear doors and door pockets . I can go on and on . But if you enjoy the car don’t listen to trolls because the car drives so much better than the current model especially the new m50 with adaptive suspension. But not for me this is not bmw quality interior
100% agree. We are 2023 X3 M40i owners. Have owned 3 previous X3s. We went to dealer to test drive the X3 M50 -ready to place order. We didn't make it to the drive. We were mortified with what we saw and how we felt in the interior. Cheap and tawdry -I agree very Kia/Hyundai like. Feels like you're sitting in a cheap night club. The design language should be premium and luxury. There's nothing premium/luxury about it. It was a deal breaker for us. What was BMW thinking? We are now in the market for a Range Rover Sport. We are truly very sad.

I'm new to BMW and had the choice between the 24 and 25 X3 recently. For me any advantages of the 25 don't outweigh the disadvantages. 1) Exterior is bulbous and bland to me, rear is fine. Also a larger and heavier vehicle. 2) Interior has a big ole widescreen like all car makers are going to, people still like physical buttons! Much more cheap plastic, just don't like the giant thick lighted "U" in the center console. 3) No rear ambient lighting, rear comfort access gone. 4) Sunroof no longer opens. Having not seen either interior, the 24 just seems like a classier, high quality place to be. Also, I'm not a fan of getting the 1st year redesign of a vehicle. Easy decision for a loaded 24 M40i. Perhaps when LCI comes out will be worth another look.
Good review. Maybe I'm in the minority...but I prefer the old 'Grab handle style' door pulls. Just felt solid. I understand the aerodynamic advantages...but the solid grab handles were excellent before...
So, Sam... I have the rx500h.. I took it for servicing recently, at Heffner Lexus in Kitchener. I live in Waterloo... They said they couldnt give me a loaner RX because they have to keep them in the very back, as they keep getting stolen off the lot.. Also they had a customer with a loaner get the loaner stolen out of her driveway.. 2 weeks ago I caught some scruffy looking guy looking at my car in the Fairview park mall parking lot..... He was trying to get a picture of my Vin number.......... I no longer trust my car wont get stolen if I drive it somewhere, so Im trading it... Buy why fool around? I might pick up an Audi SQ8.. The thefts on the RX are no joke.
Audi SQ8 - I see how they see my Lexus Press cars when driving around, thankfully it’s not my car but I feel you. The GX scared me because I always thought it would get stolen
Audi is too expensive. A q8 etron is 160k. For less than 90k u could get a cayenne, Gle or x5. X5 m60, cayenne s, Gle 53 are only around 100k, unlike the q8 which is very overpriced
@@sugarhog1938 I dont want an electric car... X5 steering is way too light for my liking.. I am looking at a SQ7 or just a Q7, they have more space which I like, and the look of the Q8 is very plain. The cayenne is very pricy, its about 30k more in Canada, not sure where you are from, and I have owned enough Mercedes products to know the Q7 is better than a GLE in many ways, it has less creaks and rattles (none actually) and I drove a used one 4 years old with 60k on it, not one creak or rattle, versus a GLE, which has plenty.. Im doing major homework on this, the Audi products are very nice, comparible to the Cayenne in quietness and overall nice to drive aspect. The Sq8 I looked at was pricey for sure, and I am passing on it.. I can almost get a cayenne S for that price, maybe $20k more..
@ no in Canada. I looked at a Q8. It is 150k. Cayenne coupe is 120k with some options. Q7 is 148k. Gle and x5 are 84k. Cayenne starts at 87k. I have a 2022 m5 comp matte black and a 2025 cayenne gts pebble grey. The cayenne gts was 140k with all options other than interior options. (I have carbon interior only).
mmmmm, I dont know... The new X3 looks like a CRV that wants to be an aardvark! If I could right now, I would put my money down on a highly optioned 2024 model, and STILL feel I got the best compact SUV of 2025. And at a discount!
Looks like an ugly electric car, nothing attractive about it, plus it cost more with less options compared to G01 Lci , just a few examples " no keyless entry on the back doors, no more moon roof that opens.. more plastic , less buttons, less leather on the interior " . For me as a G01 user new X3 is like a low budget model not a "premium" car, imagine the normal one (non M).. now low cost brands offer more comfort for a smaller price , bmw did the opposite and its a brand model option that most of the people will not consider as a future car in the same segment as a price.
Add buttons remove screens. Hate them on cars.. Analog dials is still In..screen screen screen all cars and rear end tail light bar.. this trend should go asap

That interior is cheap and full of plastic. Less buttons = subscription pricing for normally standard features and lower production costs. Hope people stop buying newer gen vehicles if manufacturers keep giving us less and charging more.

I am sure the powertrain is really nice, but cannot get over that design that looks like it came straight out of a carton...
