I saw your pocket on Mrs Billys channel, it was so pretty and really had me wanting one similar. I plan to make one when I have time. So much space and openings, perfect for anyone in need of a pocket or two.
Welcome back! It's so good to see you are still around. I have a lot of channels I follow that haven't had any activity in quite a while and I wonder what's happening and if anything is wrong. I've been waiting for you to release this video since watching Billy's video showing when she received it. I thought it was so beautiful and I loved the idea of the extra pocket on the side. Congratulations on your marriage. When you showed the pictures on your Instagram I at first thought it was one of your daughters that got married. For some reason I thought you and Todd were already married. Silly me.
I want to make something very similar and copy your idea of a secondary pocket. I am not perfectly clear on how you used the bias tape around the 3 layers... You could wrap it around all the layers down one side and up part of the other to the edge of the pocket. I didn't see any bunching or anything at the corner. It looked as if there was one piece of bias tape around the first 2 layers, and a second piece of bias tape around the back layer. I am not clear on how they were separated or overlapping along the bottom edge and the opposite side. (?) How exactly did you fit things together at the corner where the extra pocket opening was? Were you using a different strip of fabric to cover the edges of the back peice (around the entire edge), separate from the tape around the front 2 layers, or did you connect all 3 layers in one strip of bias tape along the bottom? Was there a seam Where the 2 came together that I didn't see? I might use loops of bias tape over the top as a pair of belt loops. I'm not sure how to get everything to fit together and be really secure.
I love my pocket so much! And now that I’ve seen you making it, I love it even more 🧡
I'm so good you like it!
Oh I love the second side pocket! I have to make one. Thanks for the tutorial, it's a lovely gift.
Thank you for watching!
Your pocket for Billie looks wonderful. I’m glad to see you back.
Thank you, Mary! I'm glad to be back!
How beautiful! I love the double pockets. Bernadette Banner loves these pockets, too.
I'm glad you like my little twist on a standard pocket!

Welcome back, I have been waiting for you. Great first project to come back with. Glad you did the swap. Hope to see you at CoCo 22 next month.
Unfortunately, I won't be going to CoCo, but I can't wait to hear all about it.

Funnily enough, a lot of acquaintances thought we were already married, too.
