Here's me up early to go fishing and greeted by well presented history of English Breakfast Tea.. It was the French press and some home roasted beans that seduced me at this ungodly hour though. 😁

Delightful video, gentlemen! Love hearing about the history. Just recently I was shopping for English breakfast tea here in the states at an import shop and noticed that PG Tips has gotten rid of their signature pyramid bags and the results, in my opinion, were less than desirable. Right after I took a few sips, I poured it out and then brewed a cup of Yorkshire red to feel like I was drinking actual tea again. If you two ever get a chance, I'd love a British take on this huge change in the bagged tea world (please do excuse me if you've already addressed this news).

Sadly PG have ruined their teabags with this latest quick-brew gimmick. The only way to enjoy the original flavour now is to use their loose leaf tea. Its available in large catering size packs here in the UK, not sure about availability in the US, Am*z*n may carry it.

Thank you for the compliment. It's an intriguing route PG have taken, I'm sure we'll investigate at some point.

@@chrisdadoI couldn't agree more and thank you for saying that the loose leaf is still good. I considered ordering it (the only option here in the states are the small bags of it on Amazon) but wasn't sure if they had found some heinous way of ruining that one too. Haha
