When I was a child, I mostly saw spirits during spontaneous OBEs, or trough visualization. As I grew older I began to have experiences of physical mediumship, meaning trances which involved hearing voices, smelling odors, & mild poltergeist like activity in the environment. As an adult and a practitioner of tantric Buddhism; I have unexpectedly had Buddhist deities appear whole & solid in the room while on retreat with a level presence which was indistinguishable from the rest of physical reality. My level of concentration was really high at the time, though I was on a solo retreat, so there were no witnesses. However, the poltergiest phenomena of my teens & 20s, definitely had corroborating witnesses. Basically, I've noticed that when I relax & allow a deep enough trance; the veil gets thinner, as it were, & everyone in the vicinity experiences what ever is coming through to some degree. I mostly hold myself back from going that deep because I don't live alone, & I don't want to harm my family or neighbors with phenomena beyond my control:)

I saw a spirit in a hotel in Venice. I’m the night, the room was dark and you really couldn’t see anything unless you turned on the lights. Then, I woke up by a light. I sat myself upright in the bed, staring directly at a woman glowing in the dark. She looked like a servant from the old days, wearing a black dress with white details. She started moving from the front of the bed to the other side. The movement was not walking, rather floating. Then, the most shocking thing happened. She went in to the wall, and when she disappeared she took all the light with her. I panicked, screamed and tried to find the light switch on the wall. I got extremely scared when the room got pitch black again and I couldn’t see a thing. In the end I got to switch on the light, and I didn’t switch it off the rest of the vacation. When I think back to it, I feel blessed that I got to experience this. I will never forget the room number which was 109.
It's a daily occurrence for some folks. 🙂... I like it. At one point I wished that I didn't interact with entities to the degree I do. Now I'm extremely grateful for it.. I get to know beyond a shadow of doubt that there's much more to reality than our five senses would have us believe. That's certainly a beautiful gift.
I have seen several. The most unnerving was while I was studying for my New Orleans tour guide license. I was walking past Congo Square on my way home and saw a body swinging from a rope in a tree. I turned to look, and it wasn't there anymore. When I got home and picked up the book we had to study back then, I came to the next chapter which started with the lynching of eleven people in that park in 1891...Needless to say, I decided that was enough study for one night.
One time a spirit emerged from the ground next to my bed when I was 7, and all I saw was a glowing eye going up and down or, I'm not sure, and that’s been my only encounter. I had to sleep in my mom's bed that night.

Visualization one of the most important meditation of the magus. You can also get into a trance to see spirits without any drugs or drumming. Meditation is a must! October, November, December, January these are the months when the veil is thinner. what I find a bit strange is that when I see spirits infront of me or in people tears starts to fall.
I was just talking about this yesterday. The way I explained it was, this "Energy" (Entity/Intelligence/ect) come to us very much like a "Beam of Light" and our "Mind" acts like a "Prism". As the Light passes through the Prism it breaks the Light down into A Spectrum of perceivable "Colors" (like the Dark Side of the Moon album cover), or rather interpreted Images. We can encode Information in Light, and send it through Fiber optic cables, to get our TV stations. It's essentially the same thing. But each "Mind" is unique and will decode the Information slightly different. The point is, we get to have a real interpersonal "Experience" with this "Energy". Some people may say, 'that didn't happen' - but neither did a dream, right? But we can have Intense Experiences in dreams, that we Swear Did Happen... Not to be that guy, but that’s not how fiber optics work. They work by flashing light incredibly fast. The wires are essentially glass that have LEDs at the end. Each wire will flash on and off and the flashes are then read by a computer and deciphered. It’s read as 0s (on) and 1s (off). How fast they flash and how fast computers can read and process machine code does seem like magic, but it’s not.
Some years ago I hat to put to sleep one of my old horses and his spirit stayed in the stable für some days. I could see him and the other horses reacted clearly to him. Then he found a better place.
I had been able to see so much my entire life that during a recent very stressful few years of my life I prayed the ability away and now I have to work to restore it. Fortunately it is coming back gradually, but I was really scared that I lost it completely. Now I have to bring "proof" to the spirits of being healthy enough to receive the ability again.
I’ve had this feeling so often for so long, that I talk to myself and refer to myself as “us” sometimes because I know there’s more than just me there when I’m “alone”. The worst is when I can feel something standing over me as I lay in bed. Sometimes I can almost see an outline. When I was younger I could see them. Sometimes there’d be multiple shadows standing in my doorway, watching me sleep. One time I peaked over my bunk bed and saw my “cat” stand up on its hind legs, open my big toy chest and crawl in it, looking at me while it closed the lid and giving me the “shhh” sign 🤫
I have one spirit partner that I work with very closely, that I see almost daily, as a tiny orb. I once saw something dark fly through my apartment and vanish against the wall. Searched everywhere for a bird or a big moth and found nothing. My cat sees spirits. He will completely freak out, staring into a spot in the air in my room. He did this when I first started working with my spirit partner (and was the confirmation for me that I wasn't imagining things) and also once when I accidentally brought 'someone' home from a working I did outside.
6:28 was the moment I had an enormous epiphany thanks to you, Denis! THANK YOU!!! The epiphany was that the inner world is more real than the outer physical world that is a mere reconstruction of that outside physical world -- minus who knows how much information that's been filtered out by our brains beforehand. So the physical world we think we know so well is just a hobbled-together construction with data missing that we will never know. However, our inner world is more real. Why? Well, I've realized that my "gut feelings", my intuition, happens before my brain realizes what's happening. (My emotions also seem to happen before my brain can process what's going on, but this might be an illusion; I'm still not sure. But I'm sure about my intuition coming before my brain's processes.) So, if my inner world comes before my brain, my mental processes, then it is unfiltered, first of all, so all data is present and intact. Second, it means it is not a reconstruction, but rather it is its true (and whole) self. I find I'm having a hard time explaining this coherently, but I'm doing the best I can, lol. So based on that epiphany, I then had another sub-epiphany: because this "inner world" is MORE real than my perception of the outer physical world, using this "inner world" as the place in which to meet and interact with spirits is actually the better method because the experience should, hypothetically, be more true, more pure, more complete -- since my brain isn't filtering things out automatically and reconstructing things on its own. And that's when I realized that THIS is why everyone says "you MUST learn to distinguish your own thoughts [from anything else in your head]": it's because my thoughts are produced by my brain. So if I have thoughts drifting into and out of my awareness, while at the same time, I have ~something else~ that suddenly appears in my awareness, then if I can fully and accurately distinguish them, I can accurately perceive the ~something else~ as NOT being part of my brain-chatter, and as being something important! I've kind of known this intellectually for a couple years now, but I never fully understood it, never fully accepted it as real, as truth, at my CORE, until this moment of insight hit me. So, THANK YOU!!!!!! I don't know how your channel managed to get recommended to me by TH-cam just a week ago, but I am so insanely grateful that it did; I've been absolutely devouring your videos every single day, and I've learned more about magick from you than I have in the past 3 years of my super slow reading. Iv seen one already, 7ft made of black smoke , levitates,teleports, eyes glow , shaped like a human painted in vanta black but like burning black smoke , lack of legs and ability to go through solid objects... I think this was a jinn, i was fully awake .
I used to see spirits a lot before I freaked out and shut it all down (currently trying to reopen) Best seen in my physical peripherals and mind's eye, sometimes front on as shimmering energetic masses whilst wide awake. The most memorable experiences were the little old man passing through just to watch and listen to me practice piano, ("Fur Elise" and "My heart will go on" were his favourites) and when I used to work at a bar there was this one spot a really tall man with a blue shirt would stand at and I'd go to serve him only to realise he wasn't actually there. Oh and when I was using the super popular manga filter on tiktok, discovered there were multiple spirits in my room- one little spirit took a selfie with me after I asked nicely and another was looking out my bedroom window and as my cat looked up at it, I asked if he could see the spirit and the next photo of the spirit she was looking straight at us with a bemused look on her face.. I'm really out of practice atm but now I'm older and wiser I'm not so easily scared and I'm keen to reconnect with them. Thanks for the video and book suggestions!
I was meditating and suddenly I was being observed by something that all the sudden appeared it was the form of an angel but made of fire. The color was orange and warm colors it was truly beautiful. It watched me for a while and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I have other stories as well they appear in my dreams and I can sense when one is around me or many. I think it’s amazing when it happens.

I saw a trickster spirit in my house, I thought I was just seeing things until my son came to me and asked if I saw it too. So then I knew i wasn't crazy since we both saw it lol. Had to do a lot of cleansing of the house.

I often see things in my perpheral vision, but when I look directly there's nothing there. A good example is when I was working in a furniture warehouse in my 20s. I was working with a bench drill, putting holes into drawer fronts to attach handles. As I'm working, someone came to the table, stood beside me on the right for a couple of seconds, and then walked off. I saw them in my perpheral vision, but didn't look up, as I was working and assumed it was my colleague bringing more drawer fronts to drill. After I'd finished on my first pile of drawer fronts, I turned to get the ones that I assumed had been put on the table beside me, only to find none there. I went into the back room to ask my colleague if he'd been in with any, and he told me that he'd been busy using the saw to put grooves into drawer boxes (for the bottoms to slot into) and hadn't walked into the room where I was working.
I have been doing "72 Angels of Magick" for about three months now. I used the master ritual in the book to call the angels. Once when had an urgent request to an angel, I used my own word to talk to the angel. I felt the atmosphere of the room changed. In the external world, my wish was fulfilled the next day, but what was impressive was that the experience of feeling the angel was reproduced when I called the same angel. I tried some other angels, and some I felt nothing, and a couple of others gave me goosebumps. I also tried the ritual at the biggest cathedral in the country ten minutes from where I live. I felt great.
As a kid and teen my mother and I experienced a lot of weird things happening around us. Lots of this experience happen while sleeping, but I also had sleep paralysis. My rational mind can understand that. However one thing I can’t understand is the objects we often saw flying around and try to hit us. I’m older now and I been thinking maybe there was a heavy magnetic force in our property that will make that happen, or maybe some type of air poison that could case hallucinations. The fact is that we as a family saw that and we still don’t know what it was.
I can feel and most definitely hear them but cannot see them. I've only had two encounters, which occurred without any ritual. The first happened after I read the first chapters of Aaron Leitch's book on grimoires which mentions the angel Sabrael (an angel I did know existed). After reading I went to sleep and in the middle of the night I became lucid and felt an enormous presence over me; then felt my soul getting out of my body and was taken to some place else. Then I basically watched a cartoon (!) of the angel fight with a sword against fire, a bunch of sigils scrolled in front of me and I found myself in a room in his house/mansion. I could not see him but could feel and hear him. I asked him if he could help me with something specific and he said no and that was it. I felt basically being expelled from the place and the whole thing turning into a regular dream. Even though he said no, the whole experience was amazing, and it all happened without any ritual. A few months later the same thing happened, but this time it was with King Paimon, and again, I could not see him. I first became aware of him by the banging of a drum in my left ear which was thrilling. I actually did not ask him for anything, just thanked him for his presence and he went away, but I'm pretty sure his minions stayed in the room for quite some time, I felt lightning and flashes in the room. I hope I'm only 'spiritually blind' for the time being and maybe in the future, after advancing in magickal and spiritual works I will finally be able to see them and maybe feel them in some other more complex, extra-dimensional ways 🤗 Love your videos, btw ☺
Excellent! It's funny how we experienced what you describe! I did an evocation of Tzadkiel with a student, and he did sense him, seeing his sillouhette, while I saw him visibly. I had such occurences. I'm glad I got more interested in your content! Thank you so much. 😉
I am aware you commented this 7 months ago but I'm really curious to hear if the spirit you saw visibly was actually crystal clear? Was the spirit as clear as an actual human standing there or was it more within your mind?
I haven't seen spirits. But I've heard them as footsteps, door handles moving and voices along with objects being tossed. The strangest thing I experienced was a small dog barking! (I found out later a guy died in the house from a fall and had a dog!) I can definitely feel them if they aren't friendly. They are everywhere. I just accept them and hope they figure out what's going on. I mostly tell them to stop obsessing and move on.
I almost never really see spirits with my eyes unless it was in a dream (there was one time when I was six where that was a scary exception), but I can sense their energy. I do have a few spirit-related stories, like meeting a nature spirit in a church and talking to a ghost of someone who possibly didn't realize they just died, but most of them happened when I was a kid or was very new to spirituality, and are very short. The terrifying exception happened at night and it was almost like a paralysis demon except I could move around, and I remember trying to scare away the spirit before it lunged at my eyes, but for some reason I didn't scream. I just panicked and hid my face in a pillow. I woke up at 6:37 the next morning and tried to tell my mom about it but she thought it was just a dream... the thing is, I also used to have a lot of nightmares (even as a kid) and this was different. I think this happened maybe 30 or so minutes after returning from the bathroom but it's been so long ago and I talk about it so little that the details are murky mow. I'm not sure if it was necessarily an evil entity or if I misunderstood its intention but I'm glad that nothing bad happened after that.
I’m not a spiritual person, I do not believe people see or experience external entities or forces as defined by believers. However, I find your perspectives have merit in teaching, adhering to, and possibly reaching particular states. Thank you for sharing this.
I always enjoy your takes as they are refreshing and non biased. The mind receiving input from the eyes and then constituting a unique reality for us to experience is truth right there. The reality I perceive will never be the same as the reality you perceive even though we are both looking at the same thing at the same time. Likewise I might piss myself in horror if I see spirit X while you might view it as the most beautiful spirit you have ever seen. Same spirit, different experience. It takes me to your "Something Very Strange Happened To Me" video where that experience will forever only be for you and no one else will ever experience the same (not in terms of the setup but in terms of the moment). BTW, that is still my favorite video of yours. Dont know why but it reminds me of a similar experience I had concerning the kindness of 2 strangers I will never ever know who probably saved my life that day. Who knows maybe they were spirits 😉.

Excellent explanations in your video! I found your content quite informative and accurate. As for my experience; I’ve encountered spirits since early childhood. I was convinced something was wrong with me because when I was 13 my parents took me to someone who prayed over me in some weird language and rubbed a foul smelling oil all over. Ever since, my experiences have been…substantially Less vivid. As an adult, I can still see and sense entities, but barely. I’ve been researching how to get past the learning curve.
I used to see them as a child. It wasn't like 'bam! In your face all the time', but there were times when it was more prevalent. As a young adult I shut it off. One day years later I woke up in the middle of the night to a huge shadow person crouched over me. I realized I wasn't afraid anymore and went back to sleep. Since then I've seen a few more shadow people and had some other experiences. But it's nothing like when I was younger. I feel like I was just naturally more tapped in. Even though I can connect at will it takes more effort and energy, I'm just out here trying to live my life I can't be purging energy like that all the time.
The big ones are supposedly the bad ones. Maybe cleanse your home of anything that would harm you. I did that once and stopped feeling the bad ones around me. The energy completely changed after that. So much so that when I moved from that house, it rained just in that little spot where the property was, nowhere else. Not even a cloud in the sky, but it was raining just right there. I was loading up a taxi with my last few bags (was flying to my new home) and the taxi driver even commented on the weird rain pattern. I think the house was sad to see me go
@@SmedleyButlerII I don't think all shadow people are negative. I don't even think their all the same thing. For instance, when I was a little child just out of the crib I noticed a shadow man standing on the sidewalk at the edge of my lawn smoking a cigarette. I called him over and reluctantly he came over his eyes burning like the cherry of his cigarette. He told me not to be so trusting of strangers.Later I learned he was a Djinn. He was also protective of my innocence. I lived in the middle of the woods for a period of time where there were shadow people I couldn't see but could cast shadows into my house. If I was outside I could see the grass and leaves depress and hear their steps as they walked around me. I couldn't figure it if they were souls who went through a tragedy or were land spirits but I have some ideas about it. I've also seen some at a place a used to work that was one of the most haunted places in my city. They didn't give me negative feelings, it was more like they just wanted to be seen or remembered. The giant shadow person from the story you answered I actually assume was my grandfather on my mom's side. He was six foot six inches and 350lbs of muscle because he was a carpenter. I think he was just letting me know he was watching over me. I think sometimes we see shadows because our minds don't know what to do with the information it's getting or because the spirit doesn't always have the energy to show up in a fully physical looking form. I also thing think for me at least the feeling of panic or dread that accompanies these things is like a boundary warning. Because something is in your aura or because you're close to the other side. I've been perfectly fine every single time I've had encounters but when I was younger I think my upbringing and not knowing anything about these things made the terror much worse than it needed to be. My parents went right to it's from the Devil or is Demonic. I don't believe that to be the case anymore. Thanks for your answer to my comment
My personal experience: I have some really interesting experiences from my childhood of seeing and hearing things that other people did not. Though my most intense experiences were/ are often "feeling" things. Many of my most interesting or even vivid experiences have often happened as things appearing in my mind or "imposing" into my inner vision or hearing. I like how you described about telling the difference between something you are trying to imagine versus something that just appears or flows into your mind. Another thing is understanding that often when we get visuals with certain spiritual forces or entities (What I have learned) is that such is being used so that YOU can percieve or understand something relayed. Hence why I say that it's not really necessary to be able to "see" them with your eyes. Regardless of whether we are perceiving them those forces are there. Ex: I knew someone who was reading the names of Archangels and all of the sudden described a feeling of calmness and quieting of his mind.
I can say that I've met a few spirits in my meditative practice while I was working with Quareia but I still have the desire to be able to see and/or speak with a spirit in front of me.
I met a native american chief spirit once when I was bawling my eyes out in 2014 that appeared after this viciously mean human tore me to shreds at work, I was sitting on the concrete corner of the street outside my job, it's like he saw the whole interaction because he told me the following message before I even told him what happened, the spirit was like a human in full form that I could see as if he was human but was obviously of not of this time period, he told me that I am strong and that's why my spirit is being tested and not to take lesser souls insults personally as their the most miserable, he walked away and vanished. Was the only time I've had a real life encounter where I could SEE the spirit, I feel them often but nothing like this. He instantly calmed me down and I went back to work feeling so much love and warmth, it felt like he blessed me. One of the coolest moments of my life. He was dressed in the nines of how you'd picture a native american chief, down to the beads in his hair and clothing, it was mindblowing how real he appeared.
I never saw and never cared. Now I desperately need to see, not because I need it to apply Magic, but because of the purpose of knowledge. So the application of Magic itself has lately become to see. But I've not been able 'till now.

Lon Milo Duquette describes how to physically see spirits in his book Low Magick. One is of a ritual where one can summon Ganesh into physical apparition. Lon also writes of exorcising a Catholic High School and seeing the demon appear as a bird in his triangle of art.
I met spirits in dreams, or felt rooms staring at me, but never physically seen one... unless you count shadow people out of the corner of my eye once while watching cartoons, or one time when I had a fever. The times I saw stuff in dreams, the dreams kind of got their own momentum and just were very detailed, but I was more or less lucid.... which reminds me and it would be interesting to see your ideas on this - Have you ever been to a dream hub? Like a shared space where dreamers hang out? I had dreamt of a bombed out school once with a bunch of people hanging out in it and they felt like other dreamers. I posted about it in a CMG group and this guy from Australia started going into detail about the location that I had not discussed. It was cool. I have also dreamt of a goth mall (that someone else posted about that I had dreamed of) and like a traveling festival that felt similar. It'd be interesting to see your take on this!
I’ve been to both of these places! There’s also a hotel by the sea I tend to visit frequently that always stays the same. I’ve been trying to understand the greater workings but I haven’t met anyone who’s fully experienced or understood what I meant when I tried to describe them. My encounters with spirits have been spontaneous in houses with mischievous entities. One time a spirit awoke me and my friend when we were very little and sleeping on his floor. I was to his right so I couldn’t see him and thought I was dreaming. I saw the clock said 3am and looked to my right and saw a giant hellhound growling at me with red eyes, and then I fell back asleep. In the morning I told my friend about my dream and he went ghost white, telling me he had the same dream, but could see me looking at the entity since he was to my left and the spirit was to my right we both saw the same time on the clock. Nothing ever happened again in that specific house. We were probably 8 years old.
The reason I'm skeptical about spirits being able to be experienced, is because much research has been done that shows that when a person believes that spirits can be manifested then they will see them. That is their own mind deceiving them.
Yes... Yes... And then this assumption of "deceiving" which is your assumption. Why not "this is their own mind that unlocks and allows them to see them"
RE: experiencing an entity vs experiencing the dinner table (9min mark)... this reminds me of lessons 2 and 15 from "A Course in Miracles": ( 2 ) "I have given everything in this room all the meaning that it has for me" ( 15 ) "My thoughts are images I have made." I'd be interested to hear your take on how our past experiences may shape these evocation / invocation experiences. Personally, this is where I've found the meditation aspect of practice crucially important.

When I was about 12 I saw one extremely vividly and clearly. Standing in my hallway, staring at me. It was the figure of a person made of bluish black shadows. As an adult i only see things when I'm half asleep or during sleep paralysis, or when I'm deliberately astral traveling (lots of spiders for some reason - more spiders than humanoid beings during my astral adventures so far 🙃). Sometimes I'll see things in my peripheral vision too. And i often see energy and strange shapes. But no - I've never seen anything as clearly as I could see a neighbour standing in my home.

You are not like a lot of occultists i see online. Many of them seem to be dull with no light behind their eyes. Im not saying theyre evil or even that occult knowledge is evil, because its not. Perhaps its that on this spiral path its very easy to get lost along the way. Thank you for what you do💚
I once saw something outside, during night, when I was sitting at my porch, relaxing. It was a summer night, no clouds in the sky, no wind. And I saw a white mist forming right in front of me, slowly. It was the size of a small pillow. Then, it flew for about 4 seconds, and slowly disappeared. Not abruptly, but slowly.

Hello, When I was a little kid (5y), me and my family lived in a haunted house. We have all seen/felt the spirits in various ways. I can still remember that I was sitting in the living room on the BRIGHTEST DAY and a "devil's hand" kept coming out from behind our TV cabinet and then running up the wall. And I saw it 100% with my eyes. Daily. By the time we moved out it was all over. If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't believe it. Can someone explain to me what kind of “ghosts” they were? Because according to the Bible there is only heaven and hell but as I said, that's exactly how I experienced it.
We are a thiestic Chaos Magician. We don't actually see our spirits with the eyes, but can feel eachothers presences and I have developed to being able to feel what they look like when their close to me and pick up on subtle differences in appearance when they change their hairstyle for example I know right away. One of the frustrating things though is that when my spirits touch me, they can physically feel me well, but I struggle to feel them that way. I don't know how to physically feel something that is not physical..

I can see them with my eyes open especially when in a place with a lot of people with energy flowing. However, I have a relationship with the spirits thar are seen. Mainly a black dragon, a wise aged Hindu man, a spider, and my HGA which has taken a squid-like form. If I'm just alone or at home, I can feel them and sometimes barely see them.

Jokes aside, I don’t think I’m quite that bad (I’ve had 1 experience that might have been legit but I’m not sure), but having tried for a while to see spirits, I’ve got nothing. I can sense energies, but feel somewhat spiritually-impaired as far as actually seeing apparitions go. A part of me thinks this is because subconsciously, I’m still very afraid of what I’ll see should I go through with opening the third eye, so to speak (asian ghosts look terrifying if ancient art is to be believed). Like, a part of me is afraid to see what spirits look like, but I also do want to be able to see them at least a little bit as part of growing my practice and skillset. I've seen spirits in the dark when I was very tired, and they were often times frightening (in fact that's why I sleep with a mask over my eyes now), but they have consistently never done me any harm or even acted maliciously. It makes me wonder what their intentions actually are, like are they watching over me? Being protective? Or are they just kinda "there"?
Thank you very much for this video, I really needed to watch it. I knew a lot of those things you are talking about, but I never combined them the way you did. Indeed, objective reality is not that which our five "orthodox" senses can interpret: two people might sometimes look at one and the same thing and perceive it quite differently, even without their eyes being different (like if one of them had good vision and the second would need glasses, one would have perfect colour perception and the second would be colour blind: both have healthy, good eyes and still see things a bit different). I am not truly occult, I am a pagan, and I do not really "work with" Gods, I focus more on worshipping Them. So for me personally: I have everything I could ever want in my physical life: all of my belongings, skills, status, relations with people matter to me, but not so much as my curiosity for the Divine does. So for me really seeing Gods is very important. It is not decorative element: it is a goal. To be honest I was very fascinated by the difference of perspective here. Evocators summon spirits and do so for stuff I personally find trivial, very worldly, instead of asking for some wisdom this alien (to us) being could share and enjoying the possibility to contact this spirit. This is why, when I was only starting researching occult traditions, I could not bring myself to take it very seriously. In my mind it would be like: "What do we do: playing toys or summoning the spirits? What do we care for: the stuff we could correct ourselves, using our hands and skills, or things most of us perceive as a real challenge, like understanding the secrets and purpose of the Universe and ourselves?" And, well, I believe the connection I have with the Divine is currently not the best I could have (I struggle with really defining what is "true imagination" and what is "third-eye perception" or whatever you call it when you can really feel, see and perceive the spirit. Mostly my impressions of the Gods are tactile, and They tend to be stronger when I am meditating after an offering ritual, with Them present. They have really gentle, giant, magnificent and magnanimous presence), but I have already set the goal and I am determined to achieve better connection with the Gods I worship. I have to thank Them for everything properly, I have to try and receive Their comments on our relationship, I have to know if I succeed in making a difference and being helpful and useful. You know this feeling you have when you really care for a person, like a relative or a friend or a lover? I personally feel this care for the spirits, and sometimes I am sad when other people do not even bring this up, only talking about the "useful for magician" aspect, I think it is unfair. But it is my perception. I could be wrong and I could be a fool. However, I am a happy fool. Thank you for the video very much once again! May your practice bring you gladness!
Yes, saw entities on shamanic journeys and also as diffuse forms with open eyes, locatable in 3D space - oh an with and without previous rituals. My son seems to have "the gift" too - he complains about shadows in his room in the nights. I tougt him a mantra-song to ban them.
You know when its from above early on. You cant do anything but observe and receive, maybe write things down, speak, but it takes so much of your mental bandwidth when it happens and they come to you.
great video ! i experience spirits, in minds eye its like you said i think brain i terprets information that it gets, so during ritual and after i can see thecspirit not always as it is described, one interesting thing happened to me, i performed ritual based on gom books with goetic spirit that i didnt know how it looked and wanted check if i would have some vision or images in my mind. I performed ritual than had certain images and glimpses of spirit. I checked the description of this spirit in grimoires and wow it was very close to what i saw in my minds eye , so yeah it worked. Also results of requeste that happen in real world are proof for me , sometimes iam sceptical but than from time to time my mind is blown away , that it works :)

Thanks for this excellent video on an important topic. I believe that in this matter as in many others, the real problem is that people expect unrealistic things and are then disappointed when those unrealistic expectations are not met. For example, I was a Christian for many years. I talked to God all the time, and occasionally felt that I was receiving communication in return. So far so good, right? BUT -- I never once expected God or Jesus to literally appear in physical form right in front of me. That would have been an unrealistic expectation on my part, and I never once blamed them for not doing something that I had no reason to think they would do. Today I am no longer a Christian. I have a small, beautiful statue of Athena on my bookshelf. And I realize, with a little bit of sadness, that that's as close as I will ever get to actually seeing her in physical form.
I have seen one, a very holy one to which I still had to pay a debt, in a morning of being half asleep/half awake. Grabbing one of my feet gently. Scared the living shit out of me, to be honest. I went and payed that debt (as in "keeping my end of the bargain" - debt) as soon as I could.
hey sometimes I summon spirits just to meet them, and ask questions about the nature of reality, so sometimes the goal is a manifestation, even if it happens in an imaginal astral state, can't trust everything as we are using our imperfect minds to perceive them, so sometimes the goal is just to summon them. I have experienced spirits since I was a child often not visually usually a feeling and sometimes as intrusive thoughts, although not all my intrusive thoughts are spirits, some our though, I usually feel something too, after meditation I can sometimes see spirits as outlines, but like I said I experience them better in the astral or imaginal plane, I often do a ritual to summon a spirit and clear my mind and look into the scrying device or close my eyes until I am perceiving through my body of light or astral form, and it's dark but more detailed and easier to hear, I liken it to dream work, which if you look into the dream world is a very spiritual place, like the aboriginal concept of dream time being what everything came out of, I sometimes use magick in my dreamspace when active dreaming now and it can also be quite effective to use an LBRP in an active dream to banish nightmares for instance. I honestly want to know but know that I can not probably know, which is why I summon and question spirits in general, meditate and seek "enlightenment" or the escape from ego and the attachment to belief, I want to be objective, but know I Probably can't, so I could not truly tell you if spirits are real or truly imaginal, I know they feel different from my imagination to me; but who's to say if that's true and not an imagined difference?
when i was about 7 or 8 years old, i remember vividly, seeing a hooded entitiy in my room, it came straight through my window, and i ran into my parents bedroom, i would also hear voices, like laughing, and frolocking on my floor where my teddies where, i it was never malicious to me but intruigue. i had a bunk bed but i would never look down to see what it was that was amking that noise and commotion. i do wonder now im almost 43 why i dont experience things like this anymore, i would have a different view of them now if i could.

When I have visions I'm keen to look out for the inconsistency in the image, the slight mistake, something not quite right. It's VERY revealing. If you dismiss those inconsistencies as mere brain fog, then there is lots you will miss out on. Don't be afraid of being 'rude' by asking why a certain line is missing or why there's a discrepancy in the colouring of the vision... That's where the meat is. For me at least.
I saw a physical spirit or whatever this thing when I was a juvenile. It was dark blue transparent with big red eyes and carrying a lantern. I followed it and it disappeared in a door. I was never that scared in my life even though it didn't seem to notice me.
Ive seen them, its a bit like a projection onto 3D space, a bit misty. But ive also had vivid visions, which is a bit like dreaming whilst awake with eyes open. The outside world disappears for a moment and briefly youre in a different world being given a message via images - in my life this is how Ive received some important warnings from my HGA.

When I was a child, I mostly saw spirits during spontaneous OBEs, or trough visualization. As I grew older I began to have experiences of physical mediumship, meaning trances which involved hearing voices, smelling odors, & mild poltergeist like activity in the environment. As an adult and a practitioner of tantric Buddhism; I have unexpectedly had Buddhist deities appear whole & solid in the room while on retreat with a level presence which was indistinguishable from the rest of physical reality. My level of concentration was really high at the time, though I was on a solo retreat, so there were no witnesses. However, the poltergiest phenomena of my teens & 20s, definitely had corroborating witnesses. Basically, I've noticed that when I relax & allow a deep enough trance; the veil gets thinner, as it were, & everyone in the vicinity experiences what ever is coming through to some degree. I mostly hold myself back from going that deep because I don't live alone, & I don't want to harm my family or neighbors with phenomena beyond my control:)

I saw a spirit in a hotel in Venice. I’m the night, the room was dark and you really couldn’t see anything unless you turned on the lights. Then, I woke up by a light. I sat myself upright in the bed, staring directly at a woman glowing in the dark. She looked like a servant from the old days, wearing a black dress with white details. She started moving from the front of the bed to the other side. The movement was not walking, rather floating. Then, the most shocking thing happened. She went in to the wall, and when she disappeared she took all the light with her. I panicked, screamed and tried to find the light switch on the wall. I got extremely scared when the room got pitch black again and I couldn’t see a thing. In the end I got to switch on the light, and I didn’t switch it off the rest of the vacation. When I think back to it, I feel blessed that I got to experience this. I will never forget the room number which was 109.

I have seen several. The most unnerving was while I was studying for my New Orleans tour guide license. I was walking past Congo Square on my way home and saw a body swinging from a rope in a tree. I turned to look, and it wasn't there anymore. When I got home and picked up the book we had to study back then, I came to the next chapter which started with the lynching of eleven people in that park in 1891...Needless to say, I decided that was enough study for one night.

October, November, December, January these are the months when the veil is thinner. what I find a bit strange is that when I see spirits infront of me or in people tears starts to fall.

I was just talking about this yesterday. The way I explained it was, this "Energy" (Entity/Intelligence/ect) come to us very much like a "Beam of Light" and our "Mind" acts like a "Prism". As the Light passes through the Prism it breaks the Light down into A Spectrum of perceivable "Colors" (like the Dark Side of the Moon album cover), or rather interpreted Images.
We can encode Information in Light, and send it through Fiber optic cables, to get our TV stations. It's essentially the same thing. But each "Mind" is unique and will decode the Information slightly different.
The point is, we get to have a real interpersonal "Experience" with this "Energy". Some people may say, 'that didn't happen' - but neither did a dream, right? But we can have Intense Experiences in dreams, that we Swear Did Happen...
End of the Day, Experience is Experience is Experience. Nobody can take that away from you. Personal Spiritual Knowledge (Gnosis).

Not to be that guy, but that’s not how fiber optics work. They work by flashing light incredibly fast. The wires are essentially glass that have LEDs at the end. Each wire will flash on and off and the flashes are then read by a computer and deciphered. It’s read as 0s (on) and 1s (off). How fast they flash and how fast computers can read and process machine code does seem like magic, but it’s not.
Some years ago I hat to put to sleep one of my old horses and his spirit stayed in the stable für some days. I could see him and the other horses reacted clearly to him. Then he found a better place.
I had been able to see so much my entire life that during a recent very stressful few years of my life I prayed the ability away and now I have to work to restore it. Fortunately it is coming back gradually, but I was really scared that I lost it completely. Now I have to bring "proof" to the spirits of being healthy enough to receive the ability again.

I experience them as a feeling of someone being in the room. Kind of like when someone is looking at you and you feel their gaze.
I’ve had this feeling so often for so long, that I talk to myself and refer to myself as “us” sometimes because I know there’s more than just me there when I’m “alone”. The worst is when I can feel something standing over me as I lay in bed. Sometimes I can almost see an outline. When I was younger I could see them. Sometimes there’d be multiple shadows standing in my doorway, watching me sleep. One time I peaked over my bunk bed and saw my “cat” stand up on its hind legs, open my big toy chest and crawl in it, looking at me while it closed the lid and giving me the “shhh” sign 🤫
I have one spirit partner that I work with very closely, that I see almost daily, as a tiny orb. I once saw something dark fly through my apartment and vanish against the wall. Searched everywhere for a bird or a big moth and found nothing. My cat sees spirits. He will completely freak out, staring into a spot in the air in my room. He did this when I first started working with my spirit partner (and was the confirmation for me that I wasn't imagining things) and also once when I accidentally brought 'someone' home from a working I did outside.

6:28 was the moment I had an enormous epiphany thanks to you, Denis! THANK YOU!!!
The epiphany was that the inner world is more real than the outer physical world that is a mere reconstruction of that outside physical world -- minus who knows how much information that's been filtered out by our brains beforehand. So the physical world we think we know so well is just a hobbled-together construction with data missing that we will never know.
However, our inner world is more real. Why? Well, I've realized that my "gut feelings", my intuition, happens before my brain realizes what's happening. (My emotions also seem to happen before my brain can process what's going on, but this might be an illusion; I'm still not sure. But I'm sure about my intuition coming before my brain's processes.) So, if my inner world comes before my brain, my mental processes, then it is unfiltered, first of all, so all data is present and intact. Second, it means it is not a reconstruction, but rather it is its true (and whole) self. I find I'm having a hard time explaining this coherently, but I'm doing the best I can, lol.
So based on that epiphany, I then had another sub-epiphany: because this "inner world" is MORE real than my perception of the outer physical world, using this "inner world" as the place in which to meet and interact with spirits is actually the better method because the experience should, hypothetically, be more true, more pure, more complete -- since my brain isn't filtering things out automatically and reconstructing things on its own.
And that's when I realized that THIS is why everyone says "you MUST learn to distinguish your own thoughts [from anything else in your head]": it's because my thoughts are produced by my brain. So if I have thoughts drifting into and out of my awareness, while at the same time, I have ~something else~ that suddenly appears in my awareness, then if I can fully and accurately distinguish them, I can accurately perceive the ~something else~ as NOT being part of my brain-chatter, and as being something important!
I've kind of known this intellectually for a couple years now, but I never fully understood it, never fully accepted it as real, as truth, at my CORE, until this moment of insight hit me. So, THANK YOU!!!!!! I don't know how your channel managed to get recommended to me by TH-cam just a week ago, but I am so insanely grateful that it did; I've been absolutely devouring your videos every single day, and I've learned more about magick from you than I have in the past 3 years of my super slow reading. Books are great, of course, but your explanations and deep-dives, your cross-applications, and especially your insights have been immeasurably helpful to me as an armchair witch -turned practicing witch! Iv seen one already, 7ft made of black smoke , levitates,teleports, eyes glow , shaped like a human painted in vanta black but like burning black smoke , lack of legs and ability to go through solid objects... I think this was a jinn, i was fully awake .

I used to see spirits a lot before I freaked out and shut it all down (currently trying to reopen) Best seen in my physical peripherals and mind's eye, sometimes front on as shimmering energetic masses whilst wide awake. The most memorable experiences were the little old man passing through just to watch and listen to me practice piano, ("Fur Elise" and "My heart will go on" were his favourites) and when I used to work at a bar there was this one spot a really tall man with a blue shirt would stand at and I'd go to serve him only to realise he wasn't actually there.
Oh and when I was using the super popular manga filter on tiktok, discovered there were multiple spirits in my room- one little spirit took a selfie with me after I asked nicely and another was looking out my bedroom window and as my cat looked up at it, I asked if he could see the spirit and the next photo of the spirit she was looking straight at us with a bemused look on her face..
I'm really out of practice atm but now I'm older and wiser I'm not so easily scared and I'm keen to reconnect with them.

I was meditating and suddenly I was being observed by something that all the sudden appeared it was the form of an angel but made of fire. The color was orange and warm colors it was truly beautiful. It watched me for a while and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I have other stories as well they appear in my dreams and I can sense when one is around me or many. I think it’s amazing when it happens.

I saw a trickster spirit in my house, I thought I was just seeing things until my son came to me and asked if I saw it too. So then I knew i wasn't crazy since we both saw it lol. Had to do a lot of cleansing of the house.

I often see things in my perpheral vision, but when I look directly there's nothing there. A good example is when I was working in a furniture warehouse in my 20s. I was working with a bench drill, putting holes into drawer fronts to attach handles. As I'm working, someone came to the table, stood beside me on the right for a couple of seconds, and then walked off. I saw them in my perpheral vision, but didn't look up, as I was working and assumed it was my colleague bringing more drawer fronts to drill. After I'd finished on my first pile of drawer fronts, I turned to get the ones that I assumed had been put on the table beside me, only to find none there. I went into the back room to ask my colleague if he'd been in with any, and he told me that he'd been busy using the saw to put grooves into drawer boxes (for the bottoms to slot into) and hadn't walked into the room where I was working.
I have been doing "72 Angels of Magick" for about three months now. I used the master ritual in the book to call the angels. Once when had an urgent request to an angel, I used my own word to talk to the angel. I felt the atmosphere of the room changed. In the external world, my wish was fulfilled the next day, but what was impressive was that the experience of feeling the angel was reproduced when I called the same angel. I tried some other angels, and some I felt nothing, and a couple of others gave me goosebumps. I also tried the ritual at the biggest cathedral in the country ten minutes from where I live. I felt great.
As a kid and teen my mother and I experienced a lot of weird things happening around us.
Lots of this experience happen while sleeping, but I also had sleep paralysis. My rational mind can understand that. However one thing I can’t understand is the objects we often saw flying around and try to hit us. I’m older now and I been thinking maybe there was a heavy magnetic force in our property that will make that happen, or maybe some type of air poison that could case hallucinations. The fact is that we as a family saw that and we still don’t know what it was.
I can feel and most definitely hear them but cannot see them. I've only had two encounters, which occurred without any ritual.
The first happened after I read the first chapters of Aaron Leitch's book on grimoires which mentions the angel Sabrael (an angel I did know existed). After reading I went to sleep and in the middle of the night I became lucid and felt an enormous presence over me; then felt my soul getting out of my body and was taken to some place else. Then I basically watched a cartoon (!) of the angel fight with a sword against fire, a bunch of sigils scrolled in front of me and I found myself in a room in his house/mansion. I could not see him but could feel and hear him. I asked him if he could help me with something specific and he said no and that was it. I felt basically being expelled from the place and the whole thing turning into a regular dream. Even though he said no, the whole experience was amazing, and it all happened without any ritual.
A few months later the same thing happened, but this time it was with King Paimon, and again, I could not see him. I first became aware of him by the banging of a drum in my left ear which was thrilling. I actually did not ask him for anything, just thanked him for his presence and he went away, but I'm pretty sure his minions stayed in the room for quite some time, I felt lightning and flashes in the room.
I hope I'm only 'spiritually blind' for the time being and maybe in the future, after advancing in magickal and spiritual works I will finally be able to see them and maybe feel them in some other more complex, extra-dimensional ways 🤗

I am aware you commented this 7 months ago but I'm really curious to hear if the spirit you saw visibly was actually crystal clear? Was the spirit as clear as an actual human standing there or was it more within your mind?
Even if it is in the mind, as long as one believes it to be true, it is.
I haven't seen spirits. But I've heard them as footsteps, door handles moving and voices along with objects being tossed. The strangest thing I experienced was a small dog barking! (I found out later a guy died in the house from a fall and had a dog!) I can definitely feel them if they aren't friendly. They are everywhere. I just accept them and hope they figure out what's going on. I mostly tell them to stop obsessing and move on.
I almost never really see spirits with my eyes unless it was in a dream (there was one time when I was six where that was a scary exception), but I can sense their energy. I do have a few spirit-related stories, like meeting a nature spirit in a church and talking to a ghost of someone who possibly didn't realize they just died, but most of them happened when I was a kid or was very new to spirituality, and are very short.
The terrifying exception happened at night and it was almost like a paralysis demon except I could move around, and I remember trying to scare away the spirit before it lunged at my eyes, but for some reason I didn't scream. I just panicked and hid my face in a pillow. I woke up at 6:37 the next morning and tried to tell my mom about it but she thought it was just a dream... the thing is, I also used to have a lot of nightmares (even as a kid) and this was different. I think this happened maybe 30 or so minutes after returning from the bathroom but it's been so long ago and I talk about it so little that the details are murky mow. I'm not sure if it was necessarily an evil entity or if I misunderstood its intention but I'm glad that nothing bad happened after that.
I’m not a spiritual person, I do not believe people see or experience external entities or forces as defined by believers. However, I find your perspectives have merit in teaching, adhering to, and possibly reaching particular states. Thank you for sharing this.
I always enjoy your takes as they are refreshing and non biased. The mind receiving input from the eyes and then constituting a unique reality for us to experience is truth right there.
The reality I perceive will never be the same as the reality you perceive even though we are both looking at the same thing at the same time.
Likewise I might piss myself in horror if I see spirit X while you might view it as the most beautiful spirit you have ever seen. Same spirit, different experience.
It takes me to your "Something Very Strange Happened To Me" video where that experience will forever only be for you and no one else will ever experience the same (not in terms of the setup but in terms of the moment).
BTW, that is still my favorite video of yours. Dont know why but it reminds me of a similar experience I had concerning the kindness of 2 strangers I will never ever know who probably saved my life that day. Who knows maybe they were spirits 😉.

Excellent explanations in your video! I found your content quite informative and accurate. As for my experience; I’ve encountered spirits since early childhood. I was convinced something was wrong with me because when I was 13 my parents took me to someone who prayed over me in some weird language and rubbed a foul smelling oil all over. Ever since, my experiences have been…substantially Less vivid. As an adult, I can still see and sense entities, but barely. I’ve been researching how to get past the learning curve.
I used to see them as a child. It wasn't like 'bam! In your face all the time', but there were times when it was more prevalent.
As a young adult I shut it off. One day years later I woke up in the middle of the night to a huge shadow person crouched over me. I realized I wasn't afraid anymore and went back to sleep.
Since then I've seen a few more shadow people and had some other experiences. But it's nothing like when I was younger. I feel like I was just naturally more tapped in. Even though I can connect at will it takes more effort and energy, I'm just out here trying to live my life I can't be purging energy like that all the time.

The big ones are supposedly the bad ones. Maybe cleanse your home of anything that would harm you. I did that once and stopped feeling the bad ones around me. The energy completely changed after that. So much so that when I moved from that house, it rained just in that little spot where the property was, nowhere else. Not even a cloud in the sky, but it was raining just right there. I was loading up a taxi with my last few bags (was flying to my new home) and the taxi driver even commented on the weird rain pattern. I think the house was sad to see me go

For instance, when I was a little child just out of the crib I noticed a shadow man standing on the sidewalk at the edge of my lawn smoking a cigarette. I called him over and reluctantly he came over his eyes burning like the cherry of his cigarette. He told me not to be so trusting of strangers.Later I learned he was a Djinn. He was also protective of my innocence.
I lived in the middle of the woods for a period of time where there were shadow people I couldn't see but could cast shadows into my house. If I was outside I could see the grass and leaves depress and hear their steps as they walked around me. I couldn't figure it if they were souls who went through a tragedy or were land spirits but I have some ideas about it.
I've also seen some at a place a used to work that was one of the most haunted places in my city. They didn't give me negative feelings, it was more like they just wanted to be seen or remembered.
The giant shadow person from the story you answered I actually assume was my grandfather on my mom's side. He was six foot six inches and 350lbs of muscle because he was a carpenter. I think he was just letting me know he was watching over me.
I think sometimes we see shadows because our minds don't know what to do with the information it's getting or because the spirit doesn't always have the energy to show up in a fully physical looking form. I also thing think for me at least the feeling of panic or dread that accompanies these things is like a boundary warning. Because something is in your aura or because you're close to the other side. I've been perfectly fine every single time I've had encounters but when I was younger I think my upbringing and not knowing anything about these things made the terror much worse than it needed to be. My parents went right to it's from the Devil or is Demonic. I don't believe that to be the case anymore.

My personal experience: I have some really interesting experiences from my childhood of seeing and hearing things that other people did not.
Though my most intense experiences were/ are often "feeling" things.
Many of my most interesting or even vivid experiences have often happened as things appearing in my mind or "imposing" into my inner vision or hearing.
I like how you described about telling the difference between something you are trying to imagine versus something that just appears or flows into your mind.
Another thing is understanding that often when we get visuals with certain spiritual forces or entities
(What I have learned) is that such is being used so that YOU can percieve or understand something relayed.
Hence why I say that it's not really necessary to be able to "see" them with your eyes. Regardless of whether we are perceiving them those forces are there. Ex: I knew someone who was reading the names of Archangels and all of the sudden described a feeling of calmness and quieting of his mind.
I can say that I've met a few spirits in my meditative practice while I was working with Quareia but I still have the desire to be able to see and/or speak with a spirit in front of me.
I met a native american chief spirit once when I was bawling my eyes out in 2014 that appeared after this viciously mean human tore me to shreds at work, I was sitting on the concrete corner of the street outside my job, it's like he saw the whole interaction because he told me the following message before I even told him what happened, the spirit was like a human in full form that I could see as if he was human but was obviously of not of this time period, he told me that I am strong and that's why my spirit is being tested and not to take lesser souls insults personally as their the most miserable, he walked away and vanished. Was the only time I've had a real life encounter where I could SEE the spirit, I feel them often but nothing like this. He instantly calmed me down and I went back to work feeling so much love and warmth, it felt like he blessed me. One of the coolest moments of my life. He was dressed in the nines of how you'd picture a native american chief, down to the beads in his hair and clothing, it was mindblowing how real he appeared.
I never saw and never cared. Now I desperately need to see, not because I need it to apply Magic, but because of the purpose of knowledge. So the application of Magic itself has lately become to see. But I've not been able 'till now.

One is of a ritual where one can summon Ganesh into physical apparition.
Lon also writes of exorcising a Catholic High School and seeing the demon appear as a bird in his triangle of art.
I met spirits in dreams, or felt rooms staring at me, but never physically seen one... unless you count shadow people out of the corner of my eye once while watching cartoons, or one time when I had a fever. The times I saw stuff in dreams, the dreams kind of got their own momentum and just were very detailed, but I was more or less lucid.... which reminds me and it would be interesting to see your ideas on this -
Have you ever been to a dream hub? Like a shared space where dreamers hang out? I had dreamt of a bombed out school once with a bunch of people hanging out in it and they felt like other dreamers. I posted about it in a CMG group and this guy from Australia started going into detail about the location that I had not discussed. It was cool.
I have also dreamt of a goth mall (that someone else posted about that I had dreamed of) and like a traveling festival that felt similar. It'd be interesting to see your take on this!
I’ve been to both of these places! There’s also a hotel by the sea I tend to visit frequently that always stays the same. I’ve been trying to understand the greater workings but I haven’t met anyone who’s fully experienced or understood what I meant when I tried to describe them. My encounters with spirits have been spontaneous in houses with mischievous entities. One time a spirit awoke me and my friend when we were very little and sleeping on his floor. I was to his right so I couldn’t see him and thought I was dreaming. I saw the clock said 3am and looked to my right and saw a giant hellhound growling at me with red eyes, and then I fell back asleep. In the morning I told my friend about my dream and he went ghost white, telling me he had the same dream, but could see me looking at the entity since he was to my left and the spirit was to my right we both saw the same time on the clock. Nothing ever happened again in that specific house. We were probably 8 years old.

The reason I'm skeptical about spirits being able to be experienced, is because much research has been done that shows that when a person believes that spirits can be manifested then they will see them. That is their own mind deceiving them.

I'd be interested to hear your take on how our past experiences may shape these evocation / invocation experiences. Personally, this is where I've found the meditation aspect of practice crucially important.

When I was about 12 I saw one extremely vividly and clearly. Standing in my hallway, staring at me. It was the figure of a person made of bluish black shadows. As an adult i only see things when I'm half asleep or during sleep paralysis, or when I'm deliberately astral traveling (lots of spiders for some reason - more spiders than humanoid beings during my astral adventures so far 🙃). Sometimes I'll see things in my peripheral vision too. And i often see energy and strange shapes. But no - I've never seen anything as clearly as I could see a neighbour standing in my home.
I never have that I can remember maybe more of just sensing spirits. I’m just starting to add this to my practice but I just wanted to say Amazing video! Thanks for sharing

I once saw something outside, during night, when I was sitting at my porch, relaxing. It was a summer night, no clouds in the sky, no wind. And I saw a white mist forming right in front of me, slowly. It was the size of a small pillow. Then, it flew for about 4 seconds, and slowly disappeared. Not abruptly, but slowly.
It's all in the periphery of my mind's eye. Mostly felt, then visualized retroactively. I'd love to develop it to something more akin to "seeing."

When I was a little kid (5y), me and my family lived in a haunted house. We have all seen/felt the spirits in various ways. I can still remember that I was sitting in the living room on the BRIGHTEST DAY and a "devil's hand" kept coming out from behind our TV cabinet and then running up the wall. And I saw it 100% with my eyes. Daily. By the time we moved out it was all over. If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't believe it. Can someone explain to me what kind of “ghosts” they were? Because according to the Bible there is only heaven and hell but as I said, that's exactly how I experienced it.
We are a thiestic Chaos Magician. We don't actually see our spirits with the eyes, but can feel eachothers presences and I have developed to being able to feel what they look like when their close to me and pick up on subtle differences in appearance when they change their hairstyle for example I know right away. One of the frustrating things though is that when my spirits touch me, they can physically feel me well, but I struggle to feel them that way. I don't know how to physically feel something that is not physical..

I never understood this question. People confuse retinal sensory experience with vision. What does it mean to "see"? The answer has little to do with eyeballs.
Your explanation also goes to explaining how we see then float through tangible objects, besides being intangible themselves, that the two images superimposed on each other cut through each 3d image

I can see them with my eyes open especially when in a place with a lot of people with energy flowing. However, I have a relationship with the spirits thar are seen. Mainly a black dragon, a wise aged Hindu man, a spider, and my HGA which has taken a squid-like form. If I'm just alone or at home, I can feel them and sometimes barely see them.

I’m in this video and I don’t like it. Jokes aside, I don’t think I’m quite that bad (I’ve had 1 experience that might have been legit but I’m not sure), but having tried for a while to see spirits, I’ve got nothing. I can sense energies, but feel somewhat spiritually-impaired as far as actually seeing apparitions go. A part of me thinks this is because subconsciously, I’m still very afraid of what I’ll see should I go through with opening the third eye, so to speak (asian ghosts look terrifying if ancient art is to be believed). Like, a part of me is afraid to see what spirits look like, but I also do want to be able to see them at least a little bit as part of growing my practice and skillset. Any recommendations on how to overcome this?

Brilliant way to explain a very elementary magickal concept.
Part of being incarnate means anchoring what you call “spirits” into what we perceive as physical reality.
I've seen spirits in the dark when I was very tired, and they were often times frightening (in fact that's why I sleep with a mask over my eyes now), but they have consistently never done me any harm or even acted maliciously. It makes me wonder what their intentions actually are, like are they watching over me? Being protective? Or are they just kinda "there"?
When you get the results you couldn't care less if you can or can't see them, the result is what it's all about
Thank you very much for this video, I really needed to watch it. I knew a lot of those things you are talking about, but I never combined them the way you did. Indeed, objective reality is not that which our five "orthodox" senses can interpret: two people might sometimes look at one and the same thing and perceive it quite differently, even without their eyes being different (like if one of them had good vision and the second would need glasses, one would have perfect colour perception and the second would be colour blind: both have healthy, good eyes and still see things a bit different).
I am not truly occult, I am a pagan, and I do not really "work with" Gods, I focus more on worshipping Them. So for me personally: I have everything I could ever want in my physical life: all of my belongings, skills, status, relations with people matter to me, but not so much as my curiosity for the Divine does. So for me really seeing Gods is very important. It is not decorative element: it is a goal. To be honest I was very fascinated by the difference of perspective here. Evocators summon spirits and do so for stuff I personally find trivial, very worldly, instead of asking for some wisdom this alien (to us) being could share and enjoying the possibility to contact this spirit. This is why, when I was only starting researching occult traditions, I could not bring myself to take it very seriously. In my mind it would be like: "What do we do: playing toys or summoning the spirits? What do we care for: the stuff we could correct ourselves, using our hands and skills, or things most of us perceive as a real challenge, like understanding the secrets and purpose of the Universe and ourselves?"
And, well, I believe the connection I have with the Divine is currently not the best I could have (I struggle with really defining what is "true imagination" and what is "third-eye perception" or whatever you call it when you can really feel, see and perceive the spirit. Mostly my impressions of the Gods are tactile, and They tend to be stronger when I am meditating after an offering ritual, with Them present. They have really gentle, giant, magnificent and magnanimous presence), but I have already set the goal and I am determined to achieve better connection with the Gods I worship. I have to thank Them for everything properly, I have to try and receive Their comments on our relationship, I have to know if I succeed in making a difference and being helpful and useful. You know this feeling you have when you really care for a person, like a relative or a friend or a lover? I personally feel this care for the spirits, and sometimes I am sad when other people do not even bring this up, only talking about the "useful for magician" aspect, I think it is unfair.
But it is my perception. I could be wrong and I could be a fool. However, I am a happy fool. Thank you for the video very much once again! May your practice bring you gladness!

Yes, saw entities on shamanic journeys and also as diffuse forms with open eyes, locatable in 3D space - oh an with and without previous rituals. My son seems to have "the gift" too - he complains about shadows in his room in the nights. I tougt him a mantra-song to ban them.
You know when its from above early on. You cant do anything but observe and receive, maybe write things down, speak, but it takes so much of your mental bandwidth when it happens and they come to you.

great video ! i experience spirits, in minds eye its like you said i think brain i terprets information that it gets, so during ritual and after i can see thecspirit not always as it is described, one interesting thing happened to me, i performed ritual based on gom books with goetic spirit that i didnt know how it looked and wanted check if i would have some vision or images in my mind. I performed ritual than had certain images and glimpses of spirit. I checked the description of this spirit in grimoires and wow it was very close to what i saw in my minds eye , so yeah it worked. Also results of requeste that happen in real world are proof for me , sometimes iam sceptical but than from time to time my mind is blown away , that it works :)

i had spantaneous paranormal activities in the past. Spirits yes exist. but not everybody can see them. I can barelly see them, its like im watching a very very light smoke.
When I work with certain spirits I see red or white dots of light and or smoke as the room around me starts to melt
Thanks for this excellent video on an important topic. I believe that in this matter as in many others, the real problem is that people expect unrealistic things and are then disappointed when those unrealistic expectations are not met.
For example, I was a Christian for many years. I talked to God all the time, and occasionally felt that I was receiving communication in return. So far so good, right? BUT -- I never once expected God or Jesus to literally appear in physical form right in front of me. That would have been an unrealistic expectation on my part, and I never once blamed them for not doing something that I had no reason to think they would do.
Today I am no longer a Christian. I have a small, beautiful statue of Athena on my bookshelf. And I realize, with a little bit of sadness, that that's as close as I will ever get to actually seeing her in physical form.
I have seen one, a very holy one to which I still had to pay a debt, in a morning of being half asleep/half awake.

I went and payed that debt (as in "keeping my end of the bargain" - debt) as soon as I could.
hey sometimes I summon spirits just to meet them, and ask questions about the nature of reality, so sometimes the goal is a manifestation, even if it happens in an imaginal astral state, can't trust everything as we are using our imperfect minds to perceive them, so sometimes the goal is just to summon them. I have experienced spirits since I was a child often not visually usually a feeling and sometimes as intrusive thoughts, although not all my intrusive thoughts are spirits, some our though, I usually feel something too, after meditation I can sometimes see spirits as outlines, but like I said I experience them better in the astral or imaginal plane, I often do a ritual to summon a spirit and clear my mind and look into the scrying device or close my eyes until I am perceiving through my body of light or astral form, and it's dark but more detailed and easier to hear, I liken it to dream work, which if you look into the dream world is a very spiritual place, like the aboriginal concept of dream time being what everything came out of, I sometimes use magick in my dreamspace when active dreaming now and it can also be quite effective to use an LBRP in an active dream to banish nightmares for instance. I honestly want to know but know that I can not probably know, which is why I summon and question spirits in general, meditate and seek "enlightenment" or the escape from ego and the attachment to belief, I want to be objective, but know I Probably can't, so I could not truly tell you if spirits are real or truly imaginal, I know they feel different from my imagination to me; but who's to say if that's true and not an imagined difference?
when i was about 7 or 8 years old, i remember vividly, seeing a hooded entitiy in my room, it came straight through my window, and i ran into my parents bedroom, i would also hear voices, like laughing, and frolocking on my floor where my teddies where, i it was never malicious to me but intruigue. i had a bunk bed but i would never look down to see what it was that was amking that noise and commotion. i do wonder now im almost 43 why i dont experience things like this anymore, i would have a different view of them now if i could.

When I have visions I'm keen to look out for the inconsistency in the image, the slight mistake, something not quite right. It's VERY revealing. If you dismiss those inconsistencies as mere brain fog, then there is lots you will miss out on. Don't be afraid of being 'rude' by asking why a certain line is missing or why there's a discrepancy in the colouring of the vision... That's where the meat is. For me at least.

I saw a physical spirit or whatever this thing when I was a juvenile. It was dark blue transparent with big red eyes and carrying a lantern. I followed it and it disappeared in a door. I was never that scared in my life even though it didn't seem to notice me.
Ive seen them, its a bit like a projection onto 3D space, a bit misty. But ive also had vivid visions, which is a bit like dreaming whilst awake with eyes open. The outside world disappears for a moment and briefly youre in a different world being given a message via images - in my life this is how Ive received some important warnings from my HGA.
