good beginner slippers i think are leather ones wether that be split sole or full sole because they really make you work for that point aka strengthening your foot a lot
I think all these fun “ballet core“ shops are great but I would discourage from big brands because they’re just monopolizing from the trend… if it’s a small shop by all means!!
I have a few other ideas if you don’t mind for me to say in the comment section: -A good insulated water bottle (Swell, Stanley, Hydroflask) -Mini first aid kit for ballet bag -BANDAIDS. Like a lot. And they make cute bandaid cases specifically too! -Cute hair ties and headbands -Cute ballet shoe jewelry (I’ve seen really cute ballet slipper necklaces and rings🩷) -Reusable snack bags/cute Tupperware for dance class snacks! -Mini electric hand fans -Body deodorant. It’s comes in a lotion form and stick but you can use it everywhere on your body -L makeup bags for sorting things in your dance bag🩷
a note on the ballet slippers!! sizing can be weird, and some brands suit some feet more than others, so if you don't know what that is for your ballerina, maybe just get them a gift card that can afford slippers and tell them what it's for! i know for a fact that if someone got me slippers that are not the ones i always use, i'd rather not have them at all because they are just not good to dance in for my proportions :)
What a beautiful idea! Unfortunately, I dont have any ballet nerd friends :D So it's so nice to see that I'm not alone haha. I also started ballet shortly after Christmas! I really felt it when you said Christmas is special for you because it was the beginning of your ballet journey. I was 28 when I started dancing ballet for the first time and almost one year later, I see so much progress! Thanks for your nice content, keep up the good work
