      Thank you very much for the Complement. It's a lot of work to put it all together and it nice when we get comments like yours.
      Thanks Carl.

    Well it all looked so easy in your video!!! I won't tell you how any attempts (and test rivets) but finally got there - pretty happy with the results so thanks for the tips!!! Still not sure how I'm going to tackle those few rivets that hold the windscreen rail in place....

    Very helpful video. I made the vice-grips tool and it worked perfectly for the perimeter after three trial rivets. Thanks for the great information! I ended up using normal blind rivets for the windscreen rail and put a dob of sealant over the top as the old ones were covered in sealant anyway.

    Is there a reason the rivits are so close together? I'm repairing my fj40 roof and the rivits are spaced about 3 inches (not sure in cm) apart. Should I add more?

    how strong are you arms made this myself no one I know has anywhere near the arm strength to actually crush it with the tool like you do? lol

      Are you using aluminium rivets? They should be soft enough to crush.

    Can I ask where you purchased the rivets?

    Hello; you you know if it works with rivets that have large flat heads?

    • @40ChannelCruiser
      @40ChannelCruiser  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes if you make the head to suit the rivet size.
