Starting our ‘86 Ford F-150! It’s been sitting for 15 Years!

- This is my dad's 1986 Ford F-150. This truck went through a tornado back in 2005 and my dad bought it and fixed it. He painted the whole truck and it has never been outside the shop. The truck just got moved further and further to the front of the shop throughout the years where it isn't very easy to just get in it and take it for a cruise or anything, usually you can hardly squeeze by it.
Now that we have the truck running we would like to get it cleaned up and take it for a drive soon. I don't think the truck has ever even been washed since it got painted 15 years ago. We hope we can make another video on it sometime! Thanks for watching! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Engine sounds quiet and mechanically sound . Nice work on getting her started . Those 80-86 Fseries trucks are going up in value. Kudos to you guys
I've got an 85 f150 I need to work on.
I just bought an 85 302 4x4 for $800.. needs work. Sounds good but needs a transmission bad. Killed it off driving up on a trailer lol. Got reverse though!
I had an 86' with the 302 fuel injection, good working truck.Rear engine seal leaked ,but I drove it well past 20000kms, then sold it

I have the cab off my Grandpas 81 on my 85 shortbed. Planning on doing a series when I start the rebuild.

My dad just got me an 86 for my first truck and it’s just an amazing truck
I have a home and shade for that truck and most important love and appreciation .. if it needs it..

Those 7th generation Ford F-series pickups are becoming more rare every year.
Wish people liked them as much as a square body Chevy

Question for the community: Are parts still easy to come by for this truck? I have a decision to make regarding restoring a 1986 F-150. While it has sentimental value, I don’t want to put money in today and realize I can’t maintain it tomorrow.

What I wana know is where you get a gas can that dont leak around the lid... I swear everyone of mine leak no matter how tight it is.. lol

Yes my dad repainted the whole truck in like 2006 and it’s never seen the sun. The body is super nice. Interior is pretty nice too other than that dash speaker that always falls apart on those trucks
