@@nando6333 Yes most definitely a good keyboard clean and minimalistic, but man what is the keyboard heavy. It weighs 1,2 kilogram, what did they put in some lead? Will use it for a few weeks, but I am not sure yet. I have the milk switches which sound is quiet and soft, but I noticed I pressed incidentally double bc they are soft. But then again this is my first keyboard so it might be well a beginners problem. VIA I do not understand, I tried, but could not get it work. Have to try that again later. Still I would give this a high 8+. I bought it dirt cheap after all € 87,- Ordered also the Yunzii 75% pro with Coco Switches so this will give a good line of comparison.
Additional post. My review has changed 100%. I am used now to the aluminium weight and love it. The quality of the aluminium machining is suburb and of high quality. Compared to the Yunzii pro 75, I prefer in every way the Al 68, quality, sound and function. What is the most used key? The space bar, which sounded a bit hollow on the 75 Pro and this ain't the case with the Al 68, that is solid and consistent. Battery life wow, just Wow. Not one time I had to have to recharged it so far, but then again I use no RGB.
@13BulliTs Everything is great, but I don't see the point of the RGB light between the right Ctrl and arrow keys. Why does it light up, and what is its purpose? Also, as I noticed, the Younzii al68 doesn't have a gasket mount, it doesn't flex when I press down
@mariusleon6824 really nice, I would prefer some lighter ones for gaming like the Epomaker Jade Blossoms but the Milk V2 aren't bad by any means. Quite thocky with a bit of clack.
Would replacing the little o-ring gaskets with something more cushiony/foamy make it feel less stiff possibly? Or is the lack of flex more an issue with having too much foam/not enough room to move underneath?
how to bring the knob off? really healpfull video is the al68 in ur opinion an good keyboard to mod as an beginner or is for example the aula f75 better for modding
@@Merkeebs thanks for anwser i already have it but i didnt know if i should keep it and also try to mod it or if i should send it back but i think im going to keep it now
Thinking about getting this but can't decide between milk or cocoa switches. Would you recommend the milk switches if I'm looking for a quieter thockier sound profile?
I've personally used both switches in different Yunzii boards but I find the both of them to lend to a pretty audible and clacky sound profile So if you're after some more quiet and muted thock, do consider swapping them out yourself with Akko's Rosewood or Botany switches for something more deep and lower pitched Hope this helps!
I just got my Al68 keyboard and it sounds way more different, but maybe thats just an what mic pics up. Mine is thockier i would say. Got it with milk switches.
@@13BulliTs I taped the gasket and it made it more quite, maybe it can help you as well, anyway, there is a large amount of silent switches that can be replaced for small amount of money.
Personally if I had to choose between the two, I would pick this AL68 over the older AL66 The overall build quality, fit and finish, lesser amount of flex cuts, and VIA compatibility make it the easier choice for me personally
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 good, but the keyboard is heavy, really heavy, around 1,2 kilograms. I have the Milck switches, bc I like no sound, but the touch is very licht, so in the beginning I double tapped, but then again this is my first keyboard.
@@SaintsPurgatory I wasn't blaming the review/reviewer, it was my personal consideration about it: market is oversaturated by the same exact models, ansi layout only.
It's pretty amazing how far keyboards have come in just a few years.
Seriously! I took a 18 months off from buying any keeb stuff and came back and holy crap
I just bought it, let's see how it improved compared to the previous version
thinking about scooping one, pls let me know what you think about it! much appreciated
have you gotten it yet? also what is your opinion on it if you've received it?

@camogeko6804 Awesome :D
i'm definitely gonna cop this.
have a great day, kuya merk!
Is this basically the smaller version of the al75
can you compare this to the al66?
It is better version of al66

Hey man! What kind of screws are used in Yunzii Al68? Thanks
Have you had a chance to try the Cidoo V65 V3? If so, how does it compare?
how to bring the knob off?
really healpfull video

@theoneeli the al68 I think is a better option since its build quality is solid and easy to open with just screws over plastic clips with the F75

what is that mousepad!? so clean looking
I believe that's a felt mouse pad.
hi. how would you describe the sound of the switches? is it thocky, clacky, creamy? thank you!
creamy

no ISO layout? next please, there are tons of these keyboards already
Why not contact Yunzii about it? This guy is just a reviewer and he does not design or build their products.

I have no idea why they didn't give us a black knob for the blackboard, that's literally the only thing holding me back
Just buy another knob or spray paint it, it is really easy. Just remember to clean it first and use metal spray.
Gonna do the same, btw the knob is really nice and sturdy.
