Great video. I just picked up a couple of these machines. One is locked up and the dial only turns about and inch each way. Is there a lock lever on this machine somewhere that you may know of. I can't find anything anywhere.
I have lots of videos that help you learn how to use these machines please search through my titles and you will find some that will be helpful. Look at my restoration video and also my stop-motion video along with many others you will find helpful. Good luck
Grateful for this video and your others as well. Any chance you could make a video, or provide some help/direction for understanding what the adjustable parts at the top of the head of the machine do/adjust? Sorry I don’t know the specific part names.
Please go to my channel and search through all the titles of my videos pretty much all the information is there the question you're asking is answered in the video at this link th-cam.com/video/_NUIjJwt568/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kI91tqKZt6sjK-xH
The more videos of yours I see there seems to be a common theme - "Perfection Sucks?" Is that about right? I relate. My car is a 20/20 fix. 20 feet away and at 20mph no one notices anything amiss. I had plastic welded the front end of a 2015 Jeep together. You have certainly becalmed any anxiety I had towards this new adventure. Thank You.
Totally agree with your statement! Everyone uses these machines differently. the machine and thread is just raw materials for the artists' hands to sculpt. There is no one right answer and there is no one right way to use this machine. I believe everyone needs to discover their own individual Style. I'm here to try to help everyone understand how to use them and get started. After that it's up to each individual to find their creativity and make their own masterpieces! Best of luck and happy stitching to you!
@@ChainStitchEmbroidery I recently learned guitar ( 3.5 years ago). That’s pretty much the same focus. Strumming chords and just learning? Do not seek perfection. Finger picking and Jazz players do that. I think you do very well with your views and explanations. Thank you for all your time.
How cool! I’m intrigued by the handle that directs the stitch; is it hard to do? Or do you get it intuitively, like putting on makeup in a mirror where stuff is backwards?
Hello............i am going to be making patches with a name in the middle and finished on the edge. I have no experience at all with this. I have been sewing for over 50 years. The machine did not come with any kind of manual or how to put it together. Is there any training videos out there with directions on how to use this machine and how to make a finished patch?
