Thanks for posting this! A little late for me, just ordered a Falak from India two days ago 😹 I was worried by so few reviews on Amazon though and the Falak manufacturers have a facebook group, some instructional videos and have been responsive so I’m hopeful!
Thank you so much for this video, I will start on my machine after watching this. I have been intimidated to turn on my chainstitch machine for 2 years, I have a Stingray made by Woodland Quiltworks and never turned it on. 👍🙏💥
It has been for me, I hand wash everything that I embroider on with a delicate detergent. I also iron on interfacing to the inside to keep the stitches in place.
Thats what I thought too I ordered one, but its way too thick. I need to order replacements but in dire circumstances we made one from the smallest metal guitar string you can buy. Other wire is too bendy and wont thread.
Its been great! no problems so far, i just keep losing the threading wire because I have a toddler who likes to throw things away, so I need to order extras
This is helpful, been looking at this machine for awhile but had so many hesitations. Thanks for this!
Thank you so so much for this! I've been waiting to buy this until I was able to see a review, you're an angel for posting this!
Oiling is normal and lets your machine live a long life.

Can I ask if you bought it on ebay? I am considering buying one.
Good to see this, this is my fulltime job here in Africa.
I do it too bro, from Kenya

Thank you for this video! Where do you buy your thread from? I am primarily looking for a thicker thread for moss stitch. Thank you.
Never mind, just found it in your blog. Thanks again!
Thank you, this video is very helpful!
can i use a table and motor from one of the industrials that i already have.
Yes as long as it fits in the hole, you might have to jimmy rig it to sit properly and be flush with the table
Where you buy and how much
It looks like a serger looper threader could work for threading that machine.
Thats what I thought too I ordered one, but its way too thick. I need to order replacements but in dire circumstances we made one from the smallest metal guitar string you can buy. Other wire is too bendy and wont thread.
So does the machine come with the table motor?
No it is separate, I have the link in my blog article
Can this be used to chenille ?
Yes thats the thread to use for lettering and finer details
Thank you so much for uploading this- Just wondering how the machine is still holding up? I'm interested in buying one.
