I see a future when GMC will charge you a monthly subscription for adaptive cruse control even though you paid for the feature and your vehicle is equipped with the technology. They already do the same with navigation.

I seen a comment somewhere else that said GM allegedly has changed their stance on selling stock upgrades after the vehicle is sold and in your possession. Idk how true it is but it wouldn’t surprise me AT ALL. Several other people commented that there are aftermarket ACC units that you can have installed that do work. Personally I would really only want what would have came in the vehicle originally from the manufacturer because at that point you have peace of mind with your safety and the functionality of the ACC unit. But with that said, if I could find a unit that is from a reputable/mainstream manufacturer for a decent price with good reviews, I would buy it at that point.
