Putin invaded Ukraine. Western support to Ukraine has been measured, but limited and the vast bulk of the equipment sent to them was invented during the Cold War. Nothing quite like a vatnik without a sense of irony, projecting their own situation onto others. Clearly taking poor PR lessons from little pinks.
One of the lessons of this war is that while the US help is crucial in Ukraine, that its also true that Europe is too beholden to the US to military action. We need to rebuild our own armed forces so we can act more independently. That will take years though. The US has other theatres its interested in like Asia and the Middle East. Europe is also exporting too much of what it does produce outside of Europe. This will require European governments to tell some uncomfortable truths to taxpayers that defence is going to compete for funding.
@@mango2005 spot on.we need to be careful about what countrys sign up in any pact.if a future alliance has too many members it's harder to make quick decisive decisions.also we need to look at arms sales to potential future foes

Europe should definitely do what Poland, Lithuania and Sweden are doing with their military policies and investments. You have to remember that the US still has several bases in Europe. Also, It is somewhat of a win-win situation with the US aid packages and Ukraine. Whilst the US isn't in the theatre, most of the aid packages are refurbishments of obsolete equipments and techs while investing in national (US) next-gen tech and equipments. Ukraine benefits from these aid packages and the US can focus on building yheir doctrines and their next-gen equipment towards a perceived future enemy. What I do not understand is the restraints put on the usage of said aid packages (F16 in Ukraine only, HiMARS at max 300 km, no ballistic missiles in Russia...)

You have an unlimited number of men until you have no men. At that point you are finished as a nation and there is no way to recover.
They also need to take chips out of washing machines in order to build missiles. I know that is true because I read it in the New York Times. The reason they are able to launch hundreds of missiles is that there isn't a single working washing machine in Russia today!

😂😂😂😂😂I'm here so I can learn how to lie like this sir.
Are you suggesting European isolationism?
Our combined efforts have already removed hundreds of thousands of Russian fighters from a potential Euro invasion setting Putin back perhaps decades, because believe it, there was nothing "special" about Ukraine he doesn't want from the rest of Europe. How about you get busy politically getting ridof far right parties then we'll talk about a trans-European super military force - until then there are good reasons not to let it come to pass
To be honest, we in America don't give 2 craps about the Middle East. We don't need the oil Europe does.
@@ThePgousy So far so good. The US has helped bleed off a few hundred thousand threat actors while refurbishing aging equipment and providing manufacturing jobs at home. If I were political, I'd say Biden was brilliant in that respect.

I was surprised to hear him say Zelinski is not popular politically. I don’t understand that. I thought the country was behind him.
He didn't get a significant mandate before the war, he got a bounce from the 2022 advances, but the results since then haven't been great. Bakhmut wasn't a great success in terms of casualties. The country is behind Ukraine, but not necessarily Zelinskii.
Too many scandals, unsolved problems and not doing the right things at the right time is the reason why more and more Ukrainians turned their back on him. He's talking much but does little.

Everyone I hear here keeps repeating about Pokrovsk. From Ukrainian sources, that area is more or less stabilized, while the real danger appears to switch southwards to Vuhledar, in a growing risk of encirclement.
Kuleba has failed for 2½ years to take the simple, obvious step of tabling the resolution to remove the R representatives from the U N and recognise the true legal situation, as per 1947 UN ruling, confirmed in 1962, applied in 1992: that USSR's memberships expired in 1991 when it was internationally recognised that USSR ceased to exist.
He hid that this requires only a simple majority of General Assembly votes [Article 18(3) UN Charter]; *_(not members - abstentions aren't counted [GA R126]}_* and cannot be vetoed - *_it's outside the SC delegated jurisdiction which is limited by Articles 4-6 and 24)._*
