Part of the agreement to get Ukraine to agree to give up their Nuclear Missiles under the 1994 Budapest Agreement was that Nato would help to protect them in the future, now they are being let down once again like the first time putin invaded Ukraine and took over Crimea. Thousands of lives and Billions of pounds could have been saved...Remember putin is watching all this...God Bless Ukraine from the UK.

    • @R.EGrantham

Russia has more nukes than the entire West and USA together have. But Russia has now developed a weapon as big as a nuclear one but without the radiation or dust cloud. It was deployed without a warhead on a one square mile area of industrial military factories in Dnipro recently and turned the whole area into dust. That is why the NATO rats are having an emergency meeting on the 26th because the only weapon they have to match it is a nuclear bomb.

Right! ...but Russia is not programing and setting up missiles for other countries to fire on UK or US territory are they??? There is a thin line of intervention on someone's war and Ukraine's n.z.i.s have to answer for what's happening since 2014... you should take a look at that before shouting its an intevention in a soberan country! How many times did UK and US made a big intervention in soberan countries????? I lost count on that...

Slava Ukraine from IL, USA!! 🇺🇦 🇺🇸 Russia using nukes would just mean mutually assured destruction or NATO getting involved conventionally, both being impossible for Russia to win against since they can’t even take Ukraine with 5%~10% of NATO’s collective military aid and restrictions. NATO involved = no restrictions and the gloves are off. Then China might get involved, which might lead to Asian US allied countries that China threatened getting involved. WW3 would be a grueling loss that could be avoided if RUSSIA LEAVES UKRAINE ALONE and focuses on fixing their economy and country.

He was caught dancing at Taylor Swift concert with thousands of teen agers while one of citys was under attack by peoplelike protesters with no permit to protest. That would be a serious offence if you were a Truck Driver driving by even with proper papers insurance etc you may even go to Jail be fined or held for week at the Crowbar motel . In Canada this week The liberal Goverment is to install new Tax. The Canadian Riot Tax it will be a tax on all hard working peoplekind to support protesters with food shelter and clothing and to reeducate them We don t want them peoplekind followers of that Jorden Peterson Guy ,

The US is correct in asking Europe to contribute more to the costs of this. My idea would be for the US to contribute ground attack weapons to Ukraine. Europe would have to pick up all the air defense, including surface to air missiles responsibility. The United States has to prepare for other contingencies, including the Middle East and China Taiwan. The current expenditure of weapons by the US in the air to air or air defense role is beginning to become an issue. Let Europe finance most of the Ukraine conflict while the US strengthens its combat power for other regions. Trump could take a stand-off role with Putin and let Ukraine beat Russia back a bit. By then, more economic sanctions will also weaken Russia. By “ignoring” Russia a bit I believe it will hurt Russia more.

....and that's all very well and good. But we need now to have an adult conversation over the end of this dreadful war. Now, I dislike Putin more than anyone, I've had two accounts closed through my hatred for him (thank you to the gullible readers of the Hindustan Times for that). But we've not seen the deaths/wounded/maimed numbering in the hundreds of thousands of soldiers on both sides of this war since the war to end all wars.
But Putin must realise that he has to negotiate and stop making demands, both Putin and Zelensky may have to swallow their pride over lands gained/lost. Now whether that means Putin giving up Crimea and keeping the Donbass regions I don't know but he must realise that the war has to stop. Putin's doing nothing for Russia or its people and Zelensky too, as much as he's made a brave stand against an evil dictatorship, neither side can float over winning. A peaceful solution must be found.
