The Israelites were scattered for a reason. What do you think happened while scattered to other areas for numerous years. They mixed with those people and taught the people the ways of the Most High. That was the plan for from the beginning but Israel was disobedient. They were to teach all nations. That's why they were chosen. What would be the use of choosing a people for other nations to see how good the Most High is, but it couldn't be extended to them. Case in point, my ancestors are Israelites but after centuries of living in the so-called new world, specifically the United States, we have been thoroughly Americanized, which is akin to being Hellenized or Romanized. However, our historical ethnicity does not change simply because we have been Americanized. We are still who we are in spite of all the movements and culture adoptions. This brings me to another thought though. Many Hebrews have and are diluting their seed with non Hebrews. If that goes on for several generations, I can see where they could begin to merge into and identify as the dominant culture, which is Gentile.

Like the Italian centurion Peter was sent to preach to by Father God in Acts 10, then Acts 11 when Peter explained his actions to his fellow Jews how Father God sent him to the home of Cornelius and they all gentiles (entire household) where baptised in the name of Jesus Christ and received the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues. Shalom! There are a few things that you think you should look further into brother. 1. When the Holy Scriptures talk about the book of Yasher...it is not talking about an actual book. Yasher translate in Hebrew to mean the "book of the upright". In Yehoshua 10v12-13 it asks a question about the book and Yasher and in 2 Samuel 1v18 it says "BEHOLD or SEE...it IS written in the Book of Yashar." Lastly and most importantly, everything we need is in the Holy Scriptures. Yah makes sure of it and tell us in Yehoshua 1v8 for us to DO according to all that is written in the Torah. In Deuteronomy 30v10 it stresses for us to do which are written in this book of the Torah and again in Duet 31v9-12 where Mosheh lets us know that the book is complete and gave it to the priest because they had to read it every seven years at the Feast of Sukkot to all of Yisrael.

The Israelites were scattered for a reason. What do you think happened while scattered to other areas for numerous years. They mixed with those people and taught the people the ways of the Most High. That was the plan for from the beginning but Israel was disobedient. They were to teach all nations. That's why they were chosen. What would be the use of choosing a people for other nations to see how good the Most High is, but it couldn't be extended to them. I guess we would serve a racist and partial God, which surely would contradict scripture. He wants none to perish and all to repent. Salvation is for all who believe. First to the Jew, then the Greek(unbeliever).

Case in point, my ancestors are Israelites but after centuries of living in the so-called new world, specifically the United States, we have been thoroughly Americanized, which is akin to being Hellenized or Romanized. However, our historical ethnicity does not change simply because we have been Americanized. We are still who we are in spite of all the movements and culture adoptions.
This brings me to another thought though. Many Hebrews have and are diluting their seed with non Hebrews. If that goes on for several generations, I can see where they could begin to merge into and identify as the dominant culture, which is Gentile.

Good job, my only issue is whether the book of Jasher mentioned in scripture is the one that exists today. Either way, the point was made, the gentiles are Europeans , the sons of Japheth ,that subjugated the children of Esau. Although they were made one kingdom, they remain two different races of people. Though there be many that may have intermingled over the years.

Shalom Brotha and good afternoon. Thank you for breaking it down. There's a lot of emotion attached to this subject. Who are the Israelites? You answered the question that I had about the Gentiles. Who are the Israelites? These are questions a great importance. I have always had my faith in the most high God without complete understanding but a faith. I was raised up Baptist by my mother and father but without a complete understanding I always had my doubts about what was written or more so how it was written. But I myself have been doing research here and there to try to gain some understanding and Truth. Trying to gain a truth about who I am and who my ancestors were. I've had my DNA tested and I come or my ancestors originated on the western tip by the coast of West Africa right by the transatlantic slave trade with extensions as far as Barbados, Nigeria and Kenya mainly Yoruba.

The North became the Kingdom of Israel
The South became Judah, Kingdom of the Jews.
Then later the northern Kingdom of Israel is conquered by Assyrians. Then even later the Babylonians conquered the Southern Kingdom.
After that the Persians rise up and conquered everything and allowed deported Israelites to return to Jerusalem. After Persians come the Greeks. Then Rome conquers the Greeks and that's why the New Testament is in the Roman Empire.

Gentiles are non-Jews/Israelites/Hebrews. Like the Italian centurion Peter was sent to preach to by Father God in Acts 10, then Acts 11 when Peter explained his actions to his fellow Jews how Father God sent him to the home of Cornelius and they all gentiles (entire household) where baptised in the name of Jesus Christ and received the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues.
Same as the people of Nineveh (gentiles) whom Father God sent Jonah (reluctant Jonah who called himself a Hebrew when explaining the disaster to the sailors) to preach.
The Bible with discernment from Father God (as in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) is very clear.

We often confuse the collected books of the Bible to think they are the only writings but there are many other that bear witness. The Bible (the book) are canonized books ,and letters by the Roman church. However we must treat these books as separate but the validity of all theses books are the books of the law. Good post.

So we go to scripture to prove our point but then after we do that we imply that the Bible has been corrupted? Is it just me or does that seem backwards? Then we use scripture that isn’t even acknowledged as inspired by the church set up by Jesus. We don’t use the scripture that’s been taught and seem as inspired from the very beginning? Shalom! There are a few things that you think you should look further into brother. 1. When the Holy Scriptures talk about the book of Yasher...it is not talking about an actual book. Yasher translate in Hebrew to mean the "book of the upright". In Yehoshua 10v12-13 it asks a question about the book and Yasher and in 2 Samuel 1v18 it says "BEHOLD or SEE...it IS written in the Book of Yashar." Lastly and most importantly, everything we need is in the Holy Scriptures. Yah makes sure of it and tell us in Yehoshua 1v8 for us to DO according to all that is written in the Torah. In Deuteronomy 30v10 it stresses for us to do which are written in this book of the Torah and again in Duet 31v9-12 where Mosheh lets us know that the book is complete and gave it to the priest because they had to read it every seven years at the Feast of Sukkot to all of Yisrael.

I take a really big issue with the new Age approach to the Jewish doctrine. We don’t refer to God as “higher power” and all of that mumbo jumbo. We don’t get “returned to the origin force” none of that nonsense. The Bible is inspired by God. God knows how to keep his word properly preserved. Don’t do as the Catholics did and bastardize our faith you’re either in or you’re out. You’re either with Christ or you’re not.
Don’t get me wrong. I commend your expository hermeneutical approach. But I don’t appreciate the association with new age jargon.

The gentiles Paul and the disciples were preaching to were either Greek converts to Judaism or the elect diaspora, grafted-in descendants of the tribes of Israel who were dispersed among the nations. Through the ministry of the disciple's great commission, they were called out from the nations to again be a holy nation of kings and priests, sealed for the day of redemption, which only they lived to see.
