- I played 100 days in Coral Island, an adorable new farming sim by Stairway Games. Join me on my journey through Starlet Town, where I meet a bunch of interesting characters, lots of adorable animals, and attempt to build my small little farm into a money making power house ! (keyword: attempt)

avocado juice is a common beverage here in southeast asia! usually they serve it with chocolate sauce on top and it actually tastes really good. avocado is more served as a dessert here rather than on a savoury dish
Oh neat, I did not know that! I think my confusion around that drink is that avocados are creamy, so it was hard to imagine "juicing" an avocado like you would an orange. I do like adding them to smoothies though :) Thank you for that insight!
@@breezieseazhonestly even if it’s called juice, it definitely does have the ‘smoothie’ texture! but here in southeast asia juice actually does refer to just blended fruit a lot of times. especially in indonesia, where this game takes a lot of inspiration from.

Nice job on both the video and the 100 days. The bra in Pablo's room has a whole backstory involving multiple people...which as far as I can tell is complete...? Unless they're willing to make a new sprite for the owner and have them come back to stir up drama. It's a super minor backstory rabbit hole for Charles, Suki, Scott and Pablo and I can spill details if you'd like to know. I also pursued Mark because of his love of animals, but his attitude started grating on my nerves and I mean, Rafael, is right there and precious af so I married him.
Ah, so there actually is a story behind it...interesting. I'm so curious as to what the drama entails so I'll be sure to dive down that rabbit hole! I totally don't blame you choosing Rafael - he's one of my top favorites besides Mark and Noah since he's just too kind and sweet for his own good. Thank you for your comment! :)

this is so fierce - my favourite character is definitely Jim I'd say. He's kind of glamorous and petty, like he always has good points about the environment and is a bit rude, but quickly warms up to you if you're nice. Mark just ... doesn't warm up.
Loved the video too - it's so long which i imagine was a long time to edit. Can't wait to see how Keanu Reefs farm progresses!
I really like Jim as well. He's one of my favorite of the older Islanders besides Sam!
And I totally don't blame you, Mark has a very...unique personality type! I think it's because I find his 'straight to the point' dialogue so funny that he comes across as mysterious and interesting to me :)

I really enjoyed this! It makes me wish I could play but unfortunately I can't just yet until the developers release it on other platforms... I am excited for that though, this playthrough was so good! :) I really enjoyed seeing all that can be done and all the similarities to other games I love whilst also having its own unique parts to it!
The game definitely is unfinished - I've even experienced game breaking bugs here and there that take a few weeks to fix, but it's such a fun game! I know you'll enjoy playing it when you have the chance 😊

I recently played this for the first time, and managed to get halfway through year 2. But then they released their road map, with 3 major content updates still to come, and I lost my momentum. I'd rather wait until the game is fully done.
Lily or Eva are my favs. Lily is pretty close to myself, gamer girl who spends far too much time in her room. Eva is too sweet, very friendly and wholesome with everyone.
aahhh i enjoyed this video so muchh, i binge watch this instead do something productive but it was worth it tho. I hope you continue this game, cuz i wanna see the relationship progress between your character and Mark 🤩 and ofc the more story about the giants

I'm not sure if I just missed this in the video, but you have skill points you can use as well. You can access it by going to the inventory menu over to the mastery tab.

I feel that with not being able to pick one. I'm so happy later versions of my favorite dating sims (Rune Factory, Harvest Moon >>> Story of seasons, anything else that's caught my attention) give me more than 3 save files so I can marry all of my favorites.
Banger video for being the first on your channel! Pacing and editing were really enjoyable, looking forward to more coral island content. Btw processing your crops using mason jars (and kegs when you unlock the crafting recipe for it) will make you more money so you don't have to run around being poor ;) if I remember correctly juice sells more than jams/pickles, but until having kegs using mason jars will definitely be profitable.

your video literally makes me want to re-purchase the game, i gave up the first time because of the time crunch, lol i also got lost,. I am also new to games like stardew valley style , so coral island, was hard for me to get right because i am used to freely just farming without restrictions lol. but, im happy to have watched all 2 entertaining hours of coral island. I feel like overall its a fun, unique game, but of course like any farming game, i know to just be patient with the progress lol

I think I'm marrying Rafael but atm I have the highest with Ben cause he says silly things and I love giving him shrooms. 😂😂

BTW I loved watching/listening to this while working today! I never could get into Coral Island fully so this was great to see what all the fuss was about!
Unfortunately, it just showed me how much the game still needs polishing despite it coming out of Early Access :( Especially when you started getting to Fall/Winter and actively noticing the bugs. Bugs happen but goodness some of those are just glaring.
Yes, the game really needed more work before release. I didn't experience as many bugs as other people because I played on PC, but I still did enjoy the experience. They have been actively fixing the issues and adding more content, so hopefully the game will start to feel more complete in the near future :)

Idk why you cut all the grass. If you leave it until winter your farm animals will eat it and you can keep the hay to feed them over winter. Super close of getting all your goals. Hoping you year 2 you can get more done because there are winter crops you can plant if your town grade is higher!!
I did get a bit of hay from cutting the grass, but I mainly wanted to get rid of it since it was an eye sore for me personally ;) I'm looking forward to having winter crops to plant!
@@breezieseaz There aren't any winter crops. Winter is all about tending your animals, foraging, and doing other activities outside your farm.
@@Larissa-eo3ptThere are 3 winter crops: Snowdrop flowers, Tea and Cotton. You can also plant Wild seeds in any season.

i been playing this game since it came out, and i havent figured out half the stuff i wasa suppose to do, cuz i played this never playing a game like this before, and didnt know i had to care about the townies. i think my main problem is that i dont care about townies. lol

Raj is my solid #1, but Pablo and Scott both hold #2, hahaha. Although Chaem, Suki, Wakuu, Yuri, and Lily are also very close, and I think I might be sleeping on Kenny, Leah, and Surya. It's hard to choose.
