We toured the entire area with a guide in the off season. We were the only tourist in the entire valley. It was amazing and I would recommend it to all.
I went in April. Stayed at Gouldings Lodge in the valley. Only place to stay. I had the run of the place.

No it's not a National Park. It's not even a National Monument... and YES You can fly there... But this place is closed in 2020 so I just took a few shots from the outside of this park! We definitely want to go back... Check this out

i was there last year. It's worth seeing inside of this awesome park with your car. Even young kids loves this park...
@@RiCchannel Actually there is a sign once you enter the park that no drones are allowed. You don't want to be caught flying there because you're on Navajo land, under Navajo justice there. They can take your stuff. So flying from the highway is wise, not from within the park boundaries. I flew this in March and August. Very fun flights. @@raymondgoubet When I go on vacation to the most spiritual place on Earth. I do not want to see one drone flying over this valley. How intrusive. I love this footage as you would never get to see the top of mitten buttes or Hunts mesa. I would love if they made it when closed for covid but no not while I am enjoying the peace and the view of my balcony.
I went there in Sep/2019. I loved it there so much that I planned to visit there again in 2020, but the COVID-19 happend & I had to give it up. Monument Valley cannot be compared to any other places in the world. It is so unique and magnificent. Beyond words. I will definitely visit there someday. Moki Dugway and Mulley Point were also great.
It's really hard to fathom how big these things are unless you're there, but this does them some justice. Thank you so much!

In all my travels, particularly to San Diego and Los Angeles, I've flown over Monument Valley 100s of times. I've driven through it many years ago as well. While it looks interesting from 30k+ feet up, and somewhat picturesque from 6 feet up, TAPP has captured it in a very different way than I (or any of us?) are used to. Looking forward to his return trip when all of this vastness is open again.

On the drive in, that sacred blown out rock on the right greets you. You see it fromon high before you drive and drop down into the valley. It makes you think you're on another world even before you get to the main arena. You'll be pulling over.

well I was planning on going but they have it posted you can't fly drones there. is there certain areas you're able to or did they pass this after you filmed? Ok, it looks like you filmed on that highway outside the park, I guess that would work for me too, I just wanted to get some footage there, I'll stick to that highway, was hoping to fly it inside the park but I just saw they don't allow drones. I don't get it really. I have the mini 3 pro, it's no more bother than a bird, they don't worry about the birds but a little drone is too much I guess. Same with national parks. I checked on the b4ufly app and it said it was all clear then I did more looking and found it on the park site. I just wonder if it's safe from the highway though, is it a state highway? It looks like it is clearly outside the park boundaries.

Not sure whats the rules in the park but I flew outside of the park since it was closed that day during pandemic when I was there. So I couldn't even explore the park at that time. I only took those shots right outside of the park! Its also beautiful there

Yes. In the Valley. But since this place was closed for Covid Lockdown i decided to film it on the outside of the park… Not a single shot was captured in the park since I didn’t even got in there:)

It is forbidden to fly drones in Monument Valley. Did the Navajo Nation give you permission ?
I'm outside of the Valley flying from the main street right before entrance to that park.
probably yes but this was outside of the park. Park was closed that day :/ due to pandemic restrictions.
Some, most of your drone flight and post is illegal and needs to be taken down. The FAA will find this video and they do not hesitate to dole out $5,000 fines. You should know federal, state, and local drone laws!
What are you talking about?! This is outside of the park. This park wasn’t even open that day due to covid lockdown and I wasn’t even able to get in and explore it! These shots are taken outside of the park!
@@TAPPChannel no, the flights were on tribal land, and drone flying is not permitted.
The FAA is the only regulating agency with regard to airspace. As long as there were no flight restrictions he’s good with regard to the FAA. The Navajo nation can only regulate where the drone is operating from. If he wasn’t on their reservation then there’s nothing they can do.
