And as it's obvious this path of hate was more harsh to pursue than the path of his duty

I mean young Kratos was offered a reward to free someone, and instead he burned them alive and took it. Something that took more effort, for the same reward, just to kill someone instead of help them lol

Not going to lie, the acting and story in this game looks amazing. I think I might get a PS4 just for this game.
If you did, you should play the uncharted series and the last of us. Both made by naughty dog and both excellent games with good acting.
If you're liking games like these, then you'll definitely like the last of us. It's voice acting is just as superb, and you'll never get enough of the story. I find myself playing the game again and again.

Fighting the Valkyries are much harder than Baldr, Each Valkyries have different kinds of attacks but they have common attack, even you pick up their attack pattern, they sometimes do dirty tricks like sneaking an unblockable attack and they are fast.
Story boss fights and open world boss fights
I love how they use blood in this game, only when its getting brutal does blood start to splatter and spray unlike the original series where blood was literally the currency

Thanks to the mistreatment from the Gods of Olympus, he become twisted and shrouded with rage, hatred, and revenge. So twisted all he wants is to kill all of the Gods of Olympus, or anyone who get in his way, without concern of any consequences from his action.

When she mentions him taking her helm, I thought about how Kratos would take and wield powerful Greek weapons and artifacts, like Hermes' shoes and Hercules' gloves. It just occurred to me that Kratos in Norse mythology could potentially wield Mjolnir.
And unlike the marvel counterpart, there’s no enchantment. It’s just that mjolnir is so powerful, anyone less than Thor would be vaporized upon touch. Suffice to say, Kratos fits the bill.
In this game we have the leviathan axe for frost and the blades of chaos for fire. I think it would be dope to take out thor and use mjolnir as a thunder/lightning weapon in the second game

We got to experience Greek mythology at its height...while we're picking at the bones of Norse mythology.
I would have loved to see the 9 realms in its hayday. When the valkyries weren't corrupted monsters, no dead monsters running around, the temple of tyr constantly active with travellers going to other realms.

While this is true, in this game each region is under the dominion of different pantheons. Spartans would have been judged by the 3 Judges of Hades on which region of the Underworld they would spend eternity in. The Valkyries would have nothing to do with their afterlife.

I’m a sucker for tiny details, so I really appreciate that mimir’s mouth moves when he speaks.
That's a huge indication of who we will be fighting in either the next game or game after that.
At 12:58 you hear what Mimir calls Odin's army. So, basically, Valhalla was made not just as a final resting place, but is a place only the greatest warriors are sent to join Odin in defense against Ragnarok. I have a feeling we'll be meeting some very powerful warriors

The fight with sigrun showed that you need real life stamina to fight her lol. You have to be on your top game for a significant amount of time. Hell of a boss fight. Probably the best ever
If you defeat Sigrun before finishing the game, there's an extra piece of dialogue where Mimir mentions Freya came to him to find out where Odin keeps her wings

My favorite quest in this game. It was so challenging when I first encounter one of them randomly, and the challenge grew more after each one. Also tragic story.
The Valkyries were some of my favorite enemies to fight. Tough and they were a true challenge! Shame you can't challenge them again after you've defeated them tho...
