"You are the princesses....LONG LOST BROTHER!" Couldn't that have just as easily been that? I think we can read into it either way in either translation
I always thought of OoT Link and Zelda as twins when it came to the Zelda and Link are related theory. The Queen fled with one baby-the one that didn’t have magical powers like Zelda. They knew Zelda was Hylia incarnate, but Link was screwed.
not to rain on anyone's parade here, but there's a gossip stone that implies that malon has the hots for link. we also know that link at some point gets married and has a child, because he has descendants in later games who share his blood, and we know that it was neither ruto, saria, nor zelda who he shacked up with in the end. ruto became a sage (and was a different species), saria became a sage (and was a child, so just no), and if post-OOT descendants were related to link AND zelda, there would be a bigger deal about it. so, you know, if link really came from the lon lon ranch's family, it'd mean he 100% boned his sister.
the gossip stone is one of the four in front of the temple of time. it reads, and this is pasted from the zelda wiki, "They say that Malon of Lon Lon Ranch hopes a knight in shining armor will come and sweep her off her feet someday." i know that this could technically apply to any other "knight" that she could possibly meet in the future, but it kind of seems weird that the developers of the game would write such a particular gossip stone unless it applied to the main character. i hope this helps!
Malon is Link's most eligible bachelorette, all things considered. But as for Saria, there is nothing to say that the Kokiri cannot grow up. Yes, it is explicitly stated that the Kokri are eternal youths and that any Kokiri who leave the forest will die. I think people take the latter too literally. Kokiri who leave the forest obviously don't drop dead, since we see them celebrating in Hyrule Field in the end. I think what it means is that Kokiri who leave the forest will lose their immortality and grow up. This would fit with the major theme of the story. Either that or it will take them a while to die after leaving or the belief is flat out wrong. But if leaving the forest means that Kokiri lose their immortality and begin to age, then it is possible that Link may have left the forest with Saria and grown up together.
ooh, that's actually a great idea! they AGE to death once they leave the forest. regardless, saria still is a sage, and for the same reason as why link couldn't hook up with ruto, he can't hook up with her because of that.
John Williams After saving Termina, Link return to Hyrule. However Hyrule was entering the Hylian Gerudo war. OOT Link join the war effort as highest rank of knights in Hyrule castle and also married Malon while Lon Lon ranch was destroy when the war was over. Link and Malon then created Ordon village and 100 years past and you get TP Link.(But that's just theory)
it is a strike against it, but I don't really see it as an issue. It is very well hidden, and would be a pain to get supplies to, but once you know the way it pretty easy to get to. :)
I really appreciate the theory, there are also other ideas about it being a manor for some rich family and the four ghosts you find inside are the residents.
Daniel Luevano The only entrance that we know of is also destroyed (or at least the stairs leading up to it are), meaning that there has to have been a battle there at some point.
Hair colour is no argument. My father has/had black hair, mother has red hair. I have red hair, my older sister has blonde hair, my younger sister has brown hair and my youngest sister has blonde hair.
it is possible for sure, though it is quite uncommon. It would depend a lot on the genes of the grandparents, which I doubt we will ever learn about lol Welcome to the channel Kilravok, you have some good input!
Yeah most people don't understand how hair color works. They think that to have a certain hair color your parents had to have it. But you can be born a ginger to parents who both had black hair, or blonde, or both. You can be born with black hair to blonde parents, or born with blonde hair to brunette parents.
It's even less of an argument when you remember, in Zelda the Zora "Evolved into bird creatures... Because that's how evolution works apparently. Besides a different universe might have different results. It could be the blond hair is dominant in Hyrule. The Sheikah white hair and red eyes might actually be a dominant trait.
As for the Link-Zelda Siblings theory.. there's a curious fact that supports it. If I'm not mistaken, they are the only blond and blue-eyed characters in the entire game (beside the Kokiris). Not so much of a proof, but it's something really interesting to notice.
@@newbornkilik Assuming that Link and Zelda *are, in fact, siblings* in OoT, I’ve a pet theory of my own: They’re HALF-siblings. Link’s mother was the King’s mistress. 😉
On the subject of Link's place of birth. The simplest explanation would be Castle Town. But there could also be regions of Hyrule that are unknown or inaccessible in Ocarina of Time. There could conceivably be other Hylian settlements, towns or villages.
true, Hyrule field is pretty big. It is possible that his hometown may have been burnt to the ground during the way and no longer even exists. In which case good luck figuring out this mystery! XD
I would like to think that during the war there was a fort where Lon Lon Ranch is now, and Link was born in that fort. As for why his mother fled to the forest, I think her destination was what is now the Forest Temple, but she got lost and somehow ended up by the Great Deku Tree. A good thing too, 'cause the Forest Temple was clearly attacked some time after.
Maybe the queen taking Link to the forest was because she knew they both carried a triforce. If someone such as Ganon found them both together, especially as children, that would be bad. But seperating them increased the odds that at least one would survive until they were old enough to carry out their destiny. A "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" sort of situation. Along they way, she became injured.
But the complete Triforce was still in the Sacred Realm at the time. It wasn't until Link opened the Door of Time that Ganondorf was able to touch the Triforce, and even then Ganondorf had no idea that it would break into the 3 virtues of Power, Wisdom, and Courage then leave him with the one he most believes in. Only members of the Royal Family and high ranking members of the Sheikah Tribe were ever given knowledge of what the Triforce would do if someone were to enter the Sacred Realm and touch it. Since the Triforce was still whole at the time of the war, it wouldn't make much sense to separate the two "chosen at random" recipients before they were actually chosen. Especially before they even have a chance to develop personalities. My personal headcanon on OoT Link's mom is that she was married to one of the Royal Guard (one of the most prestigious Knights of Hyrule), and on either a private trip or an escort mission (probably to Lake Hylia) they were ambushed and caught in the cross fire of the war (which would've probably been going on further West Northwest of where they were attacked. During the ambush Link's mother fled into the forest and took a few arrows to the back before collapsing in front of the Deku Tree and begging him to protect her child. Link's father probably died in the ambush, thus leaving him orphaned as an infant. Geographically speaking, the war zone would be between Gerudo Valley and Hyrule Castle Market. They would've taken a detour Eastward around the other side of Lon Lon Ranch to hide from the oncoming forces. One group saw a horse and carriage heading out of the town and ambushed them by cutting them off before reaching the fence. Another group blocked off their retreat and Link's father forced his wife to take their infant child as far away as possible in whatever direction she could run towards. This lead her to Kokiri Forest because East was the only direction she could go. That's just my headcanon anyway. Someone might even have a rebuttal for it themselves that could prove Link's father is still alive at some point.
Damn, I really should continue to watch your videos :v I stopped because of a lack of motivation to watch TH-cam videos, and because I'm doing things that prevent me to do those things and watch videos at the same time, but this video attracted me enough and it was interesting. I don't really have theories about OoT, but I have questions I don't have any answers to, like... Why, when we are a kid, there's a lot of monsters in the Hyrule field, but when we are an adult, there's just some ghosts that disappear forever when we get their soul ? If Ganondorf is the Evil King in the future, why there's less monsters in the Hyrule Field ?! It makes no sense for me ! Also, congratulation for your 5K subscribers :)
The Stalchilds ? Maybe they were the remains of the deads from the War but they were hunt down by guards until there was no more of them in Hyrule Field. Or maybe Ganondorf, because he is the Evil King, made them all going to his Dark Castle, completing his Evil Army. The Poes are said by the Poe Collector of the Ghost Shop to be caused by Ganondorf evil presence, he is basically the one in charge of Spirits of the deads that goes wrong and haunt the living. Peahats are just part of the Flore, I think they are some of them in the futur .... Near Gerudo Canyon, no ?
Maybe, but for me it's still weird there's almost no enemies during the future. Also, I'm pretty sure there's no Peahats when we are an adult, because I have no memories of seeing one when I was searching after the Poes.
Considering the theory about Link and Zelda being siblings and their mother being the queen; maybe she was prophetic like Zelda and knew about the triforce pieces and who they would go to in the future. I'm not sure when Ganondorf showed up on the scene, but if he was there around the time Link was born the queen may have seen what would happen in the future and decide to take Link to the Great Deku tree where he would be safe from Ganondorf. Just a thought.
it brings up the idea that maybe even though there were plenty of guards, it still might not be safe enough. After the triforce splits when Ganon enters the Sacred Realm (eventually he would have made it either way) having both of the remaining pieces in one place, is a little too convenient for him lol
I always thought that link and malon ended up and he usually ends up with the someone other than Zelda. I.e. ilia. Which is why his hair is brown in later times. Also I think shadow link is responsible for the song of storms. In that only link sees him as a shadow. To everyone else they look like the interlopers from TP. And because shadow link is evil he would want access to the bottom of the well and tormenting the windmill guy would be a bonus
interesting, if we remember Twilight Princess the interlopers took the form of Dark Links, so I wonder if they were different for every person in Hyrule?
I like the last theory because it actually makes sense. She'd be closer the Deku Tree if that were the case. I never thought of the Forest Temple as being his home but could also not picture a scenario where it made sense for his mother to cross a battlefield with her INFANT son to find a tree. Good job on that one
links body isn't sealed for 7 years, every time he picks up and puts down the master sword there is a 7 year "freeze", but consider the following. 1) if it was a fixed 7 years he would walk out at a fixed time, meaning he would have to re do anything done the last time he was an adult, what is more is that he would go back to the same fixed time so any progress child link makes would have to be re done, creating loops in time undoing progress to force him to re make progress. 2) whenever he would go back in time and make changes to the past he would be shortening the span of time in a sealed state, if you add up the time it would take to do a lot of the changes you would need to make to full fill the full story (past and future) you end up with a lot less than 7 years sealed time, and you would end up with more and more time spent as adult link. by virtue of these facts link can not have been sealed for 7 years, if he was sealed he could not make changes unless multiple links existed in the same time and link was going back and forth at earlier points in time ( sealed 7, goes back 8) and we know that is not the case. you could argue that link had his first time seal at 7 years, but the second he goes back in time his body is no longer sealed for 7 years, or he is sealed for 14, or he is sealed for 21 depending on how you look at things, the act of picking up and putting down the master sword would literally have to create multiple time-lines within the ocarina of time and that is disconnected from the end of the game time paradox. SO I ARGUE.... that there are a multitude of parallel time lines being created at that point in the game, OR, that link is traveling between different already existing parallel time lines where he has already accomplished the changes before he knew to make them as a consequence of traveling through time..... AND... that the hero loses, and wins are connected to these time-lines. (the hero leaves doesn't happen till the paradox) I have not read the manga but I wonder how many times him picking up and putting down the master sword for time travel is canon and if its 2 times picking it up as a child that would make logical sense, heck, even the hero disappears could make sense if he picks it up 3 times as he just wouldn't be in a certain timeline. granted, you'd have to accept link as a being removed from time first and all links involved would have to pick up the master sword and put it down at the same time for him to be swapped out, but with the tenth dimension theory that isn't impossible.
@@newbornkilik I know that this can never be canon, and that I should take the time to sit down and delve deeper into this, so its just food for thought at this time, but ocarina of time is filled with time paradoxes and loops, and this is one I think they overlooked or knowingly allowed but there is no way that the butterfly effect wouldn't cause alternate timeliness as adult link version 1 and all aspects of that world did at one point exist so that can not just disappear, it has to continue on its path, the only logical explanation for doing what he does would be that link disappears from that timeline and goes into another one or that he dies when he puts the sword down and his conscience is sent to another links who may have died when doing the same thing within the seemingly endless list of multi dimensional pathways. I actually am happy you bothered to read my crazy talk though XD
The last theory for how the enemies navigated the lost woods, you have to remember there are exits from zoras domain AND Gordon city into the lost woods, and the music getting older and softer could guide them, because it’s always like that, not just for the hero of time to navigate. Also the monsters in the lost woods, who’s to say they were living in the lost woods when links family got attacked? Perhaps the enemy took the monsters with them to inhabit the forest. So if the mother went into the lost woods she could got through a tunnel that loops around to the Kokiri forest and giving link to the great deli tree
I hadn't considered the music, a solid point. Kind of makes you wonder where it is coming from. I like the idea that the invading forced released beasts into the Lost Woods to help catch any runaways! Good thoughts, welcome to the channel Absolute Zero!
sometime I wish we had more lore, but then we couldn't fill in the holes ourselves! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for checking it out Blue Rock Candy, welcome to the channel!
The great Deku tree was stated to be very powerful but Ganondorf was too much for even him to handle thats why it was thought to be safest with him and since the Kokeri don't leave the forest they couldn't get a message to the castle; nobody knew what happened to Ruto so they didn't blame Ganondorf; and the Goron leader said he thought a Royal messanger had arrived but was disappointed to see a child suggesting that they were attempting to communicate with the problems Ganon caused but didn't in time. Even the Gorons suspected that the King abandoned them because they lost so much status.
The Deku Tree is not that powerful, just look how some Chuchu bullied him in Wind Waker. His aura make the Darkness not invading Kokiri Forest, but when he died, monsters have took away Kokiri village. The Stones and the whole Hero of Time Prophecy are not taking seriously anymore, look at the King, if the Gorons asked for help to the King of Hylians, it's because of the Unification War Agreements, Hylians are allies they can count on.
Exactly there were no monsters until the deck tree died and he stated at the beginning of the game that he had long protected the Kokiri forest until now. In Wind Waker it is a different Deku tree that grew from the sprout from after the forest temple.
Interesting theory about Link being born at Lon Lon Ranch, as well as the other theories! Here's my take on some of them. Have you ever wondered why a RANCH in the middle of Hyrule Field was so heavily fortified? Unless it was a rampart for Hylian soldiers during the Hyrulean Civil War, then Talon bought it sometime later and converted it. And Time's parents could have been stationed there because the father was a knight. Time could still have been born there, and his mother could have taken him to the Forest over a shorter distance of battlefield. If you wear the Gerudo mask and talk to Talon, he'll say that 'Hey, that kinda reminds me of my wife! On second thought, no, it doesn't resemble her at all!" (paraphrased). My theory is that Malon is half-Gerudo because of that comment and the fact that she has red hair, something typical of the Gerudo tribe. She's also good with horses, which are an essential part of Gerudo lifestyle. I know the manga isn't TECHNICALLY canon, but we see that Time's mother had blonde hair, and we never see his father, just that he died in the Civil War and the mother was gravely injured when she entrusted baby Time to the Great Deku Tree. As for the manor/Forest Temple, I think it was owned by four sisters (Meg, Joelle, Beth, and Amy) who supported the Hylian's cause in the Civil War, but they were so isolated in the Forest that they couldn't do much.
About the Forest Temple one, keep in mind the Lost Woods has direct shortcuts to Goron City and Zora's River, so attackers could've come from there; and maybe the Gorons put up a few rocks on their end after the war, and/or the Zoras let water into the tunnel (if that one wasn't already submerged).
I like the theory of Link's family living in the forest temple; never heard that one! It would make it a little less weird that Link's mother decided to hand off her baby to a giant talking tree. :p The temple could be the remnants of an old manor, or Link's family could have been acolytes of some sort who cared for the temple.
OoT Forest Temple is Best In Series! The place is *so* enigmatic! There's just not enough to go on to form any sort of theory as to why this place exists!! But as much as I love wracking my brain over it, I don't think I ever want to know. The temple would lose so much of its mystique. Even still, I'd love to see what other Forest Temple theories people have. Who built it? Who lived there? How was it built in the sacred grove, deep in the perilous unnavigable Lost Woods? And who the heck are Amy, Joe, Beth and Meg?
I have one ! The Parellas were the servants of the Water Dragon, Faron on Lake Faroria. after Skyward Sword, the Three Dragons where about to left the Surface after Hylia's mission completed, Faron offered her scales to the parellas that turned them into the Zoras, the Zora built the Water Temple in the now Lake Hylia for praying to the Water Dragon, that why many Dragon figures are found in this Temple, the Zoras then, with their strong swimming abilities given by the Water Dragon Scales, go upstream the river to where Jabu Jabu was guarding the source of all waters in Hyrule. The Hookshot was the Key of the Water Temple hidden in Kakarico Graveyard where the Sheikahs were watching over it, after Rauru chose this Temple to be one of the five Elementary Temples where the Sages will awoke in the Hero of Time Prophecy.
interesting, when you think about "common" items like a simple bow being these treasures that you can only find deep within these temples. You would think at some point Link could just buy a bow or a hookshot or a boomerang, maybe these temples harbored some of the greater inventors of Hyrule? Using the Water temple, and the complexities of making a fully functional water system that is sturdy enough to work well into the future.
I think they are more than common, they are Magical, "Fairy" bow ? Sound like there is some Fairy Magic in it. Well, most of those items aren't really something you can buy, the hookshots are mechanical master pieces, many Boomerangs can lock targets like by magic (TWW and TP ones who I believe to be both related to the Kokiries, there is even a fairy Inside the Gale Boomerang). I remember in some games, you can buy items in the shop like the Bow in LA, the Boomerang in MC or the Slingshot in TP. "The Great Builders" are how I've called them, the ones than have built the Temples in all games. Obviously, they aren't the same for all games, but they might be connected by a Strange looking symbol of a U with a point Inside. -Those who have built the 9 Temples and the 7 Palace in TLOZ and AOL, to protect both the Triforce of Courage and Wisdom, I think they are the Fokkas who protect the Great Palace, the name of the Wind Tribe in this Era, following the Orders of the King. -Those who have built all the Hyrule Temples in ALTTP, AST and ALBW, mainly the Eastern Temple, The Desert Temple and the Hera Tower (and also the House of Gales), who I also again think they are the Wind Tribe with some help of the Sages. -Well, in LA, Kokolint is a dream world so, even if they could have been a backstory, we don't know how much the Wind Fish was dreaming, there is Kanalet Castle, or the ancient ruins of the Face Shrine, so maybe this ancient civilisation built each of the six Temples for the six Instruments of the Sirens, before Shadow Nightmare show up and turns every of their Guardians into Nightmares by showing them the Truth, if the Wind Fish awoke, their existence will cease, in a sense, Monsters aren't enemies like in other games, they fight for their lives. Shadow Nightmare also Called Dehlt, is the reason why Link needs Link's help, he corrupts mainy in Kokolint by the fear for their existence with the dream secret to make the Wind Fish sleep forever so he would be Immortal, I don't think Kokolint is really erased, but rather is in sleeping mode until the Wind Fish sleep again, I think there is some sort of cycle. -For OOT, I think each Temple have its own backstory and the tribe that lives near are related to it, Rauru chose five Temples to be the Elementary Temples, in TP, where learn that the Temple of Time was made by the Oocca, another name for the Wind Tribe. - In Majora's Mask, the four Temples were built and are parts of the History of the Ancient Tribe that have crafted Majora's Mask, for their begening in Woodfall Temple to their Golden Age in the Stone Fortress. -In the Oracles, they are related to the essences of Time and Nature, the ancient Tribe of Holodrum and Labrynna would be connected with the Oracles, and Farore would be the one, in a previous life, to have planted the Maku Trees. -Well, for the Dugeon of Four Swords Adventure, the Zuna built the Pyramid, the Dark Tribe built the Temple of Darkness ... maybe there is connection between the Eastern Temple, the Tower of Flames, the Desert Temple and the Temple of Ice with the Sky Tower and the Palace of Wind, Wind Tribe residence, the Wind Tribe Again. - In Wind Waker, it was the Wind Tribe Again, before the flood, they were told by the Gods to built all those temples (exept some of them like Forsaken Fortress or forbidden Woods), the Wind and Earth Temple were built because the Master Sword was weakening when the Hero's Soul had disappeared from this world, the name of the Wind Tribe in this Era is a monster name, the Wizzrobe, the flood wasn't a good thing for them and with their leader, they chose Ganon side instead, "to make Hyrule Great again", all the ruins in various Islands are related to each other, it's also the case for items. the mysterious U with a point is also quit recuring in this Era and in various places. - Phantom Hourglass, this was the servants of The Ocean King in his own realm, the Cobble tribe, who built all those temples for the three Spirits or the Sacred Ores. - Spirit Tracks, this was the servants of the Light Spirits, the Lokomo Tribe who have built those Temple, containing Force Crystals who are power source to the Seal of Malladus in the Tower of Spirits, they were here since much longer than when the Hylians found New Hyrule. - Skyward Sword, the ancient tribes, Humans, Sheikahs and ... robots ? Followers of Hylia, built those Temples, we have sacred place to pray at the Springs, a factory for Timeshift Stones ext .... - Tri Force Heroes, those Temples where ruins of the Drablands, I think this was a prosperous Kingdom like Hyrule with a similar past, before an unknow event. Sarting in the Jungle to the Dunes Kingdom before the Demon Invasion and going to the Sky like most human at this time, building the Fortress, where the Demons came out, they built the ruins, the Den of Trials is actually a gate to another World, I think this is Termina. - And finally, for Breath of the Wild, it was the Sheikahs, the Monks, sent by Hylia. Well, the Wind Tribe is quit recuring, they might be the Greatest "Builders", since they are more near to the Gods than Hylians and follow the orders of the Royal Family with their messenger of the Sky. I think the Wind Tribe deserve a Theory !
Kilik, the Link being a target as a baby was my theory on your Link's Mother video. You responded to my comment. Maybe you came up with the the theory again separately, but if not, I'd like a little shoutout. Then again, I'm sure there were more than just me, but my comment did get your response.
There were a handful of people who mentioned it I believe. Honestly this video was so long ago, I hardly remember what the 5 ideas were XD no ill intention meant of course.
On the theory that link was born to a family living in the Forest temple, I honestly think it makes the most sense. Link is always born to a high ranking Knight in the royal family, therefore the king would make him what we would consider a Lord to gard the great decue tree in the Forest, and keep it under the banner of high rule. As for the destruction in such a defensible place, that can easily be explained by the nefarious Interlopers can it not, the shodow people m this would intern make sense as to why the temple is so dark, and why the entrance is so high, that being a common design for Castles to protect them by destroying the access to the main entrance veya a draw bridge or something else . Why is it the forest temple them, simple. The king had the original temple destroyed so the stone from it could be used in the construction of the manor or castle of links family be it is great grandfather or his father either way. Now this is also why the gate would be there and the labrenth that has to be accessed by destroying the we're wolf AKA gard dog of the home , ........come to think of it, if it was the Interlopers aka the twily people. That werewolf could very well be links father cursed like link was in twilight princess. This would explain why he is the only where wolf in the game if I'm not mistaking. This would also explain why Sara always considered it her happy place. It's because that's where the love of her life was born, the love she could never have , so to stay away from him and yet still be so close makes so much more sense than it simply being her temple. That's all I have for now, so thank you so much for reading and have an absolute amazing day
Ruto got stuck in the fish because she was dumb. Gannon tried to throw them off track with the fake letter. Darunia was expecting aide which is why he was pissed when the Royal family "sent" link. Gannon cursed the tree and a bunch of fairies and children couldn't do anything cuz they cant leave the forest. The gerudo didnt care about any of that cuz gannon was their king anyway.
After saving Termina, Link return to Hyrule. However Hyrule was entering the Hylian Gerudo war. OOT Link join the war effort as highest rank of knights in Hyrule castle and also married Malon while Lon Lon ranch was destroy when the war was over. Link and Malon then created Ordon village and 100 years past and you get TP Link.(But that's just theory)
newbornkilik In Hyrule Historia Link left Hyrule to fine Navi in the Lost Woods for 3 to 4 months in till he encounter the Skull kid and try to save Termina in three day and going back home on the 4th day. Taking 3 to 4 months to return back to Hyrule. So Link left Hyrule for at 6 or 8 months and Hero of time return to Hyrule at age of 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13 years by what player thinks in my opinion. But if want go by what the creator said he would be 9 or 10 years old after his adventure in Majoras Mask. Edited: I made a miscalculation in the math sorry😳. Put this in your theory video under my channel please. I know the original and confirm age of HoT Link is really 9 years by gamer creator. But it's also by how player feels and thinks in my opinion.(I think he twelve years and stuck to that to very end.)
newbornkilik The only one who is human, farmer girl and knows Epona's song with no royal blood to Hyrule is Malon. HoT Link Married Malon and 100 years pass you get TP Link. Theory confirm in my point of view.
newbornkilik But Maybe the player decide what Link age is by his appearance When I first played Nintendo 3D DS of OOT I thought Link was 12 years old. Plus I don't think 9 or 10 year old Link could handle the horror of Majoras Mask on his own. That why I thought maybe a 12 old Link would handle the danger.
Didn't realize I wasn't subscribed, considering I started watching a while ago, recognize the channel name, and enjoy quite a few of your videos. Gotta fix that :3
Actually for hair colour if hyrulean genes were prioritized with Brown being dominant to Red being dominant to blond and Talon having A Brown&Blonde Gene as well as Talon's wife having a red/blonde gene then it would be possible for them to have both Link and Malon as their children
interesting, I was looking at it without taking into consideration their genetic patterns. Where did you find this information? :) Good thoughts, welcome to the channel!
with zelda and link being siblings you could say the reason there mother only took link is because at the time zeldas powers were not awakened in her. of cores this is taking new stuff from botw. so perhaps knowing of link being the hero because of her powers the queen took him away to protect him but she ended up being killed before she could return leaving zelda to slowly awaken her powers over the years. but thats just an idea for it
I did find it kind of interesting in breath of the wild that is all his powers needed to be trained instead of just being latent like I had assumed. Welcome to the channel!
When you said Ganon killed the sages, it made me think about the wind and earth sages in WW and temples in Zelda Ura. (Including the ice one since ice is part of earth) The sages might be the same. Although there already were a Kokiri sage and Zora sage. I don't have any evidence, but that's what your video can talk about.
Am I the only one who wonders about Link's dad in this game? Was he killed in the war? Did he become a Redead or a Stalfos? Was he a Sheikah? Depending on when it was established, I suppose the only remaining possibility, if Link's mother wasn't from the castle town, she could've been from Kakariko village, though, even if existed at that point, that probably would've been too far for her to go.
There are some pretty interesting thought in the comments here, I can't remember which one exactly I am thinking about, but it was a pretty solid reason for Links mother to be in the Kokiri Forest. :) good thoughts, welcome to the channel, glad to have ya IamDragonFury!
So I am not sure if someone said this already, or even if this changes things, but the Link and Zelda being related theory, that's actually confirmed in the official manga, in it is a sleeping link in someone's arms being cradled, taken to the Great Deku Tree, where the person who took him, the queen, died and became a tree, specifically Mido's house And also the no one spoke of ganondorf thing is void because Darunia when you first meet him actually called for a royal family member, but grumbles that it was you
Uhhhhhh you forgot to mention another counterpoint to Link being Malon’s sibling is the fact that it is heavily implied in the game that Malon has feelings for Link
9:18 yeah, except the forest temple is WAY deeper in the forest and hidden than the kokiri village. I know it's just technical stuff and that the kokiri village isn't in reality litterally a treetrunk away from Hyrules fields, but the temple still seems further deep in the lost woods than the village. So bringing Link here would have brought him closer to the battlefield... Unless, of course, the real Hyrule layout isn't really the game one and you can acces the temple other ways than the lost woods.
newbornkilik The only one who is human, farmer girl and knows Epona's song with no royal blood to Hyrule is Malon. HoT Link Married Malon and 100 years pass you get TP Link. Theory confirm in my point of view.
"More safe with the guards in the castle than with a bunch of kids and a tree." Uh, buddy. 1) The Kokiri Forest is implied to be hidden beyond the Lost Woods and not just a short path and bridge like we play, meaning normal people would have trouble reaching the homes of the Kokiri. 2) The Deku Tree is very powerful and even when Ganondorf, with all his magic power, decided to kill him it required a long drawn out curse 3) Those Kids and Tree are still around after the seven year period of Ganondorf's rule. You know who isn't?
A little note about hair color and paternity. I don't know which is more recessive, red or blonde, but this can work either way. So R=red B=brown Y=yellow. Lowercase being recessive on the chart below, and capital being more dominant. Father By Mother Ry Child1 yy Child2 Ry That leads to a blonde child and a redhead child. If redhead is more recessive than blonde, the father would need to have recessive red to make this work.
IF his mother had to choose which child to save, it may be because she couldn't carry both. Yes she could've strapped them on her chest/back, but how would she protect them if she was attacked? She'd try to protect one while unintentionally using the other as a shield.
New theory: Link and Zelda are siblings. Queen mother learns about the prophecy involving Link saving Hyrule. As more and more of the prophecy is coming true she leaves the safety of the castle to hide Link from danger, only to be attacked and gravely injured before arriving at Kokiri forest. As time passes her spirit makes contact with Zelda (the only person that would listen) and slowly tells her of the prophecy involving Link. Thus begins the story we experience in OOT.
I've always wondered what your gameplay footage has to do with the discussion. It often relates in general area, but is rarely directly related to what you are actually talking about. Most of the time, the running around just seems to be completely random.
lol truth be told, I have played this game so much and watched so much gameplay on it, I just get kind of bored watching the same style of gameplay over and over again :) Something different is all, to make people say... what is he doing? XD Welcome to the channel kindlin, glad to have ya!
Ok, what if Link's mother just worked at the ranch as a housekeeper/farm hand and wasn't Talon's wife? Link's father could still have been one of the soldiers and she could have grabbed her son and fled when the castle was attacked, perhaps thinking that Lon Lon Ranch would be next.
Technically, they are related. The end, and really throughout the entire game, of Skyward Sword gives the impression that the original Link and the original Zelda were an item. And there are several instances stating unmistakably that all Links are descendent of the previous incarnations just as all Zelda are incarnated within the same bloodline. However, I reject the idea of the royal family being incestous. It is well possible that the bloodlines are followed matrilineal, not patrilineal, since the reincarnation of the Goddess is always a female member of the royal family and Breath of the Wild states that all firstborn daughters of the royal family are named Zelda. The purebloodedness of the royal family is racial, not aristocratic. They never crossbreed with Human, Sheikah, Zora, Gordon's, Gerudo or any other race, only with Hylians. And yes, there are non-Hylians humans. The Bolson carpenter crew, LonLon ranch inhabitants and some Castle Town citizens have round ears, clearly not Hylians. I know it has been declared non-canon, but there was a comic about how Link ended up in Kokiri Forest. According to that story, his father was a Hylian Knight and his mother fled the war. He is not related to the royal family and not of the LonLon Ranch, unless maybe if you want to believe the theory that LonLon Ranch used to be a garrison during the war for its strategic location. It has all the markers of a well defensible and central position that any faction in a war would want to own. But that would still not prove a relationship to Malon. It's been a while since the war and if it was a garrison, it would probably not have been owned by ranchers during the war.
I don't know about up until Ocarina of Time, but at the very least after that the Decline Timeline couldn't have Links related to the old Links because OoT Link was killed without defeating Ganon. (or, at least, he 'failed' to defeat Ganon, but one can assume...) In Wind Waker proper it is said by the Kingly Red Lion Guy that the Link he is carting around is not descended from the Hero of Time by blood- which has to be true because in the Adult Timeline OoT Link disappears altogether (The Era without a Hero). In the Hyrule Historia it states that TP Link is a descendant of the Link from the Child Timeline- the one from Majora's Mask. Of course, this knowledge doesn't include the period between Skyward Sword and OoT, but one could assume that with the (speculated) thousands of years between the two games, the two Triforce Wielders would no longer have blood relation. But, there's really no way to prove that without more info =P So they could technically be related, but I just wanted to debunk 'all Links are descendant of the previous incarnations' past Ocarina of Time.
Most of these theories have no ground to stand on....link cant be malons brother, hes blond and son to a hylian knight and talon states that malons mother had red hair (likely a gerudo)....The theory with links family having owned the forest temple is busted just by the fact that the only entrance we know of is sitting within the lost woods and saria frequents the temple.
Maybe the King of hyrule asked Ganondorf to collect the spiritual stones to consolidate his new power over Hyrule after the civil war. That would explain why no one listens to Zelda's prophecy and why the races didn't talk about Ganondorf trying to steal the stones. It was a power grab by the King and Ganondorf
My cousin has red hair but her parents have blonde and black hair. My mom has red hair but I have blonde. I don’t know what my father looks like but my grandparents both have dark hair. It is possible to have red hair with out the parents or kids having that hair colour.
newbornkilik In Hyrule Historia Link left Hyrule to fine Navi in the Lost Woods for 3 to 4 months in till he encounter the Skull kid and try to save Termina in three day and going back home on the 4th day.
One thing that has always kind of confused me: There are TWO other ways to enter the Lost Woods besides the entrance in the Kokiri village. Why is that?
But Maybe the player decide what Link age is by his appearance When I first played Nintendo 3D DS of OOT I thought Link was 12 years old. Plus I don't think 9 or 10 year old Link could handle the horror of Majoras Mask on his own. That why I thought maybe a 12 old Link would handle the danger.
I always thought the age was really young for the things he was capable of... I mean yeah he is the chosen one, but he is literally still developing as a person XD welcome to the channel, cheers!
Well just you point out one thing, impa failed to really protect. Wells other didn't make it and was trained it may have been a premonition on his mother's part that only one would survive that attack. The she took and stole the other one away
Malon is Gerudo. It is said Gerudo come to castle town to find a boy friend. And Malons father visits quite frequently. He also states her mother was very beautiful. So. Maybe?
Would if those of the lost woods like Skull Kid were guilty? It's said that they don't like adults very much and attack adult Link, would if something happened at the fortress aswell due to the broken stairs and needing the hook shot to get in? The fortress/forest temple is in pretty good shape especially since some paintings are even in there of named few Poe.
I'm not sure if this has been said (mostly because of the sheer volume of comments) but about link and Zelda being siblings. What if link is actually a bastard child, his mother wasnt of the pure bloodline, so the royal family had her assassinated. She was chased to the forest with her new born bastard child and was injured by the assassin. The assassin not wanting to follow her into the lost forest, only assumed they would both die, because he didn't want to follow her into such a dangerous area. Which is why the king wouldn't know about him, because he was supposed to be dead
If link and zelda were siblings, then the king had a male heir to the throne. He could have feared link would overthrow him or that enemy forces could conspire to kill the king and manipulate the young and impressionable heir. It was civil war, and gives the queen good reason to flee with only her son, as he would have been the one at risk
Botw in the cinema princess zelda says links dad was a high ranking knight in the royal guard second off what if queen of hyrule had zeldas ability to see the future saw something would happen if link was not put in the hands of the great deku tree i just found you on here and got legit excited you discussed zelda and link being brother and sister but I felt you left out key details like stated above or even why does molan fall for link instead of zelda when link is more in zeldas picture then molan ever has been
it would depend where BOTW would fall on the timeline, the cinematic is a good reference, but the games could be hundreds of years apart. When you look at the royal family the daughter is always named Zelda and the hero is always named Link, but I can't think of many other repeating events for Link and his story. Good thoughts, welcome to the channel David!
newbornkilik OK i understand that so let's then go with this links mother and possibly father were in the spirit temple\house and lived there something happened that caused it's ruin and in the final moments before the death of the mother she was able to get to deku tree and ask the favor how would it be possible they lived there would more likely then not be his mom was a sage so at this point we either see a little kokiri leaving forest to get with a hylian which is extremely unlikely or we have the zelda\links mom who as any game says the bloodline of the sages passes down through heritage and as for why this house compared to say the castle maybe shiek hidout from the war separate the kids so if one dies the line does not fade to the memories of old and hell just riots i dunno i could go on about it there is so much i can't believe anything but
Who was the king of Hyrule at this time in Ocarina of Time and who was the first king I somebody can help me out I'm trying to figure it out and I'm coming up with blanks
Yo man, i liked your videos , but heres my theory, is that termina is lorule, i mean it a ridiculous theory but majora's mask is in link between worlds sooo
ok but links mother is stated to be hylian and malonś mother is gerudo (if you talk to talon with gerudo mask he says it reminds him of his wife) thats probably where the red hair came from. plus link and malon likely got married and that would be some sweet home alabama shit right there
What if the king and queen were fleeing with zelda and link but had gotten ambushed causing them to seperate, with the queen ( now injured) and link ending up in the lost woods, found the deku tree knowing he would be the key to the future, asking him for help before passing away
makes sense to go to a guardian that can sense destiny when trying to convince someone to adopt your infant son lol. Welcome to the channel Mr. Auszee, good thinking!
Well. If malon has red hair and her dad has brown but carries a ressesive trait for red hair and malons mother has red hair theres a chance she would come out with red hair. Buuuut if her dad has the recessive trait for red hair and does the do with his sister who has the same recessive trait that could cause the child to have red hair.
True, there are a lot of probabilities when it comes to genetics, we have no idea what the grandparents are :P good thoughts, welcome to the channel GERGERN ZERO!
But the supreme evil is also in the prphecy and it says only the hero can beat him therefore the queen wpuld move link to the deku forest and keep zelda at home with her
Link is a regular Hylia, so his family should be regular Hylias, so they couldnt live in the lost woods...not even in the Temple...a sacred place..strange place to live
Me I think that link mom is the queen but she had link to a different King who had died she got remarried to Zelda's father which in turn she and that King had Zelda so link would be more or less a half-brother to Zelda
Well Zelda and Links are Originaly Lovers. Skyward sword is to my Knowledge the first era and Zelda swears to company Link against his fight against Ganon. So you play the same Link and meet the same Zelda everytime. Even in Breath of the Wild they are much closer than Friends much more like Lovers
Good video but I disagree with all these theory leading to OOT Link bloodline/family. It doesn't real have lot of proof and evidence to back it up in my opinion.
"Zelda is your ..." was a bad english translation
The true Japanese text said:
"You are the princess's ..."
"last hope" would be the right following.
amazing how big of a deal essentially saying the same thing in a different way can cause such an uproar lol
@@newbornkilik yeah, for all the theories, I wouldn't trust the English translation 100%, especially for the old games.
"You are the princesses....LONG LOST BROTHER!"
Couldn't that have just as easily been that? I think we can read into it either way in either translation
@@SeanTalksTooMuch Yeah, and aren't the translations consulted with the creators of the game? Well, at least they should be.
I always thought of OoT Link and Zelda as twins when it came to the Zelda and Link are related theory. The Queen fled with one baby-the one that didn’t have magical powers like Zelda. They knew Zelda was Hylia incarnate, but Link was screwed.
Maybe she figured that the Goddesses would help to protect Zelda from any harm, but didn't figure the same for Link as you said.
not to rain on anyone's parade here, but there's a gossip stone that implies that malon has the hots for link. we also know that link at some point gets married and has a child, because he has descendants in later games who share his blood, and we know that it was neither ruto, saria, nor zelda who he shacked up with in the end. ruto became a sage (and was a different species), saria became a sage (and was a child, so just no), and if post-OOT descendants were related to link AND zelda, there would be a bigger deal about it.
so, you know, if link really came from the lon lon ranch's family, it'd mean he 100% boned his sister.
do you remember where the stone is? lol this makes me hope that Link is better than that XD Good thoughts by the way, welcome to the channel!
the gossip stone is one of the four in front of the temple of time. it reads, and this is pasted from the zelda wiki, "They say that Malon of Lon Lon Ranch hopes a knight in shining armor will come and sweep her off her feet someday."
i know that this could technically apply to any other "knight" that she could possibly meet in the future, but it kind of seems weird that the developers of the game would write such a particular gossip stone unless it applied to the main character.
i hope this helps!
I too like the Theory of Links Parents living in the Forest Temple never thought of it till you brought it up.
Daniel's Hot Topics the only problem with that theory is that the only entrance we really know of is within the lost woods
it is a strike against it, but I don't really see it as an issue.
You can be born with black hair to blonde parents, or born with blonde hair to brunette parents.
yeah well maybe it's time to have that little chat with you parents. You might want to sit down.
Red hair is a mutation on blonde
As for the Link-Zelda Siblings theory.. there's a curious fact that supports it. If I'm not mistaken, they are the only blond and blue-eyed characters in the entire game (beside the Kokiris). Not so much of a proof, but it's something really interesting to notice.
Still something to note! Welcome to the channel! Cheers!

Assuming that Link and Zelda *are, in fact, siblings* in OoT, I’ve a pet theory of my own:
They’re HALF-siblings.
Along they way, she became injured.
makes sense, depending on how powerful Ganondorf was a the time, even a castle of guards may not have been enough!
Congrats on 5K NBK!!
I love how much the NewBornNation is growing!
Thanks for the awesome video and for all the hard work you do for us!!
thanks for being there from the beginning!
Damn, I really should continue to watch your videos :v
I stopped because of a lack of motivation to watch TH-cam videos, and because I'm doing things that prevent me to do those things and watch videos at the same time, but this video attracted me enough and it was interesting.
Also, I'm pretty sure there's no Peahats when we are an adult, because I have no memories of seeing one when I was searching after the Poes.
welcome back, lol you have missed so much D: thanks for the support by the way! Cheers!
I just found your channel today and I love it! The theories really make me think about my favorite Zelda games. Definitely subscribing!
I'm glad you enjoyed it welcome to the channel Mango!
And because shadow link is evil he would want access to the bottom of the well and tormenting the windmill guy would be a bonus
interesting, if we remember Twilight Princess the interlopers took the form of Dark Links, so I wonder if they were different for every person in Hyrule?
newbornkilik it’s a possibility
Damn, well done. Lol blew my mind right open! It all seems to make sense, time travel is a headache!
This sorta stuff keeps my interest in zelda budding and piqued, love it :3
sometime I wish we had more lore, but then we couldn't fill in the holes ourselves!
In Wind Waker it is a different Deku tree that grew from the sprout from after the forest temple.
hmm.. even if they were more nuanced there was some effort to communicate. lol poor Kokiri screwed either way.
Congrats on reaching 5,000 subscribers! That's awesome :D keep up the good work
thanks a bunch, cheers!
And who the heck are Amy, Joe, Beth and Meg?
that is a very good theory. But what was the water temple for....
That's all I have for now, so thank you so much for reading and have an absolute amazing day
lol the idea that the Wolfos in the courtyard is Link's dad is now one of my favorite pieces of head canon. Cheers!
I like the idea anyway lol I would be interested in hearing if you had any proof? :P Welcome to the channel!
newbornkilik In Hyrule Historia Link left Hyrule to fine Navi in the Lost Woods for 3 to 4 months in till he encounter the Skull kid and try to save Termina in three day and going back home on the 4th day.
Gotta fix that :3
lol welcome back! XD you have been around for a while! Cheers
Just some knowledge from real life genetics on hair colour combined with some Hylian gene speculation
the Wiki says that if you use the Garudo mask while talking to Talon he will say that it reminds him of Malon's mother, just an interesting fact.
"Leave Link with a tree instead of *whoever was looking after Zelda"*
_Shiek Link_
with zelda and link being siblings you could say the reason there mother only took link is because at the time zeldas powers were not awakened in her. of cores this is taking new stuff from botw. so perhaps knowing of link being the hero because of her powers the queen took him away to protect him but she ended up being killed before she could return leaving zelda to slowly awaken her powers over the years. but thats just an idea for it
I did find it kind of interesting in breath of the wild that is all his powers needed to be trained instead of just being latent like I had assumed. Welcome to the channel!
This video is :
- 99% Ocarina of Time's theories.
- 1% ALTTP mention.
19 games right now, still on Ocarina of Time.
XD gotta ring this game dry before moving on! Could also say it is roughly about 60% related to Links mother.
it's because it's the best one that's why :D
wring
5:09 aww links uncle didn't go unconscious though...
I think you see him at the end of the game doing well :) lol probably not 100% but well enough to hold a sword. Cheers!
Kk thanks dude I gotta go replay link to the past! Your vids are awesome by the way
thanks a bunch, it is definitely worth a play even today.
That red and green button combo is driving me up the wall, it's supposed to be BLUE AND GREEN! -_-
WOAH... I never even noticed that XD lol gotta love the debug rom! Welcome to the channel by the way!
Link could be a child of the queen and another man, and she was fleeing the king.
That would explain why she would choose to leave. Cheers!
Sure thing. it would be something to look into! Good thoughts, welcome to the channel Zack Stafford!
Oh, well, thank you.
So I am not sure if someone said this already, or even if this changes things, but the Link and Zelda being related theory, that's actually confirmed in the official manga, in it is a sleeping link in someone's arms being cradled, taken to the Great Deku Tree, where the person who took him, the queen, died and became a tree, specifically Mido's house
And also the no one spoke of ganondorf thing is void because Darunia when you first meet him actually called for a royal family member, but grumbles that it was you
Uhhhhhh you forgot to mention another counterpoint to Link being Malon’s sibling is the fact that it is heavily implied in the game that Malon has feelings for Link
Congratulations on 5k subs
thank you for the support and helping me to get here, cheers!
newbornkilik The only one who is human, farmer girl and knows Epona's song with no royal blood to Hyrule is Malon. HoT Link Married Malon and 100 years pass you get TP Link. Theory confirm in my point of view.
"More safe with the guards in the castle than with a bunch of kids and a tree."
Uh, buddy.
1) The Kokiri Forest is implied to be hidden beyond the Lost Woods and not just a short path and bridge like we play, meaning normal people would have trouble reaching the homes of the Kokiri.
2) The Deku Tree is very powerful and even when Ganondorf, with all his magic power, decided to kill him it required a long drawn out curse
3) Those Kids and Tree are still around after the seven year period of Ganondorf's rule. You know who isn't?
A little note about hair color and paternity.
I don't know which is more recessive, red or blonde, but this can work either way. So R=red B=brown Y=yellow. Lowercase being recessive on the chart below, and capital being more dominant.
Father By Mother Ry
Child1 yy Child2 Ry
That leads to a blonde child and a redhead child. If redhead is more recessive than blonde, the father would need to have recessive red to make this work.
Ahh right Punnett squares lol thanks for this.
Ganondor probably caused infighting between races. He didn't have to do anything, he just had to incite lone wanderers fears and radicalize them.
IF his mother had to choose which child to save, it may be because she couldn't carry both.
Yes she could've strapped them on her chest/back, but how would she protect them if she was attacked?
She'd try to protect one while unintentionally using the other as a shield.
uhh oh, Link had... HAD a brother... oof
You actually pronounced Rauru more accurately than Kaepora Gaebora! It's something like KAI-uh-po-ruh GAI-uh-bo-ruh.
lol that is what I get for letting YuriofWind teach me how to say it. XD sounds like a form from DBZ truth be told.
If Link is the brother of Zelda, he could’ve been born out of wedlock and that’s why his mother left him with the Deku Tree, so he’d be protected
Could be, one would assume it was a secret. Or maybe the king found out and ordered her killed so she left?
@@newbornkilik yeah that's what I was thinking, like maybe the king had an affair with Link's mother
I remember reading the OOT manga and learning that Link’s father was a Hylian knight but I’m not entirely sure of how canon that is
Technically, they are related.
Daniel Luevano I agree. These Theory's didn't have lot evidence to support its feedback.
Zelda's mother is said to have passed away before or shortly after her birth or during very early childhood in most games.
Kind of a bummer really.
I kind of messed that up. What I meant to say was during or after her birth or early childhood xd
9:15 Indeed, it is impossible to beat the high ground.
What if the king was blonde and married malon's mother. Her mother was a red head with a which would explain Malins hair.
Could be, who knows who Link's mother fancied. Good thoughts, welcome to the channel 8-bit tardis!
My cousin has red hair but her parents have blonde and black hair. My mom has red hair but I have blonde. I don’t know what my father looks like but my grandparents both have dark hair. It is possible to have red hair with out the parents or kids having that hair colour.
theory 1 in the video maybe they were half brothers and sisters
newbornkilik In Hyrule Historia Link left Hyrule to fine Navi in the Lost Woods for 3 to 4 months in till he encounter the Skull kid and try to save Termina in three day and going back home on the 4th day.
One thing that has always kind of confused me: There are TWO other ways to enter the Lost Woods besides the entrance in the Kokiri village. Why is that?
“Zelda is your...”
FUTURE WIFE. YAYYY
lol welcome to royalty, and the easiest life you could think XD Welcome to the channel! Cheers!
My theory is that Link's family lived in Termina. It was also close to lost woods.
I mean yeah he is the chosen one, but he is literally still developing as a person XD welcome to the channel, cheers!
newbornkilik I couldn't said better myself. I enjoy watching this channel these past few weeks my Zelda theorize friend.
The gorons said that ganondorf had blocked off their goron or dodongo cave because they wouldn't give him the stone
Hmm... could be. Maybe the Forest Temple was some kind of orphanage or shelter and when it was attacked all the children were disbursed?
I'm not sure if this has been said (mostly because of the sheer volume of comments) but about link and Zelda being siblings. What if link is actually a bastard child, his mother wasnt of the pure bloodline, so the royal family had her assassinated. She was chased to the forest with her new born bastard child and was injured by the assassin. The assassin not wanting to follow her into the lost forest, only assumed they would both die, because he didn't want to follow her into such a dangerous area. Which is why the king wouldn't know about him, because he was supposed to be dead
this is a pretty awesome idea actually! Thanks for checking it out samus790, welcome to the channel!
congrats
Thanks a bunch! Welcome to the channel Johnathon Williams, glad to have ya!
Good video and the forest temple theory is good as well.
I really enjoyed that theory as well :) it is now my new head canon!
Maybe link was born to a gerudo. Link would be killed as ganon was the male and soon to be leader, which should only appear every 100 years
Following this, maybe Link was considered the destined one until Ganondorf was born and they just knew? Good thoughts!
Good thoughts, welcome to the channel David!
newbornkilik OK i understand that so let's then go with this links mother and possibly father were in the spirit temple\house and lived there something happened that caused it's ruin and in the final moments before the death of the mother she was able to get to deku tree and ask the favor how would it be possible they lived there would more likely then not be his mom was a sage so at this point we either see a little kokiri leaving forest to get with a hylian which is extremely unlikely or we have the zelda\links mom who as any game says the bloodline of the sages passes down through heritage and as for why this house compared to say the castle maybe shiek hidout from the war separate the kids so if one dies the line does not fade to the memories of old and hell just riots i dunno i could go on about it there is so much i can't believe anything but
The odds of malon being a ginger were 50%
I always thought that your uncle was saying Zelda is your responsibility
So it's possible to have fairies revive you from the dead but not to have different hair colours in a family?
Who was the king of Hyrule at this time in Ocarina of Time and who was the first king I somebody can help me out I'm trying to figure it out and I'm coming up with blanks
someone brought up a good point, we never actually see the king (I think) we just hear about him.
Thank you for answering. We just know he's the old man that's talking to us and giving us a sword or Shield LOL again thank you
That first thero implies that Marin and link were siblings who got married
Yikes
I have a skyward sword theory about the master sword origins
always interested in fan theories!
Well you remember the robots from Skyward Sword? My theory is they were mining the timeshift stones to make the master sword
it is kind of an odd detail, something to look into for sure.
Yo man, i liked your videos , but heres my theory, is that termina is lorule, i mean it a ridiculous theory but majora's mask is in link between worlds sooo
I never play a link between worlds, i dont know much about it
never know, there are no wrong answers when coming up with fun ideas! Welcome to the channel, glad to have ya!
Lol
Just subbed!!!
glad you enjoyed it, thanks for checking it out FriendlyGamersHD, welcome to the channel!
Thank you for being so welcoming!!!
ok but links mother is stated to be hylian and malonś mother is gerudo (if you talk to talon with gerudo mask he says it reminds him of his wife) thats probably where the red hair came from. plus link and malon likely got married and that would be some sweet home alabama shit right there
My cousin is a red head, her husband is a brunette, and her kids were blonde and a red head.
4:40 I always saw them as lovers
What if she took link tgere because she wanted to keep the triforce seperated so it would be harder for ganon
lol sometimes the simplest answer makes the most sense! Good thoughts, welcome to the channel James Battaglia!
Eeyy number one was my comment! Assuming nobody else had the same idea...
nope you were the only one, but I really liked the idea. After looking through some of the comments, it is pretty awesome!
newbornkilik Sweet, thanks dude! And congrats on 5k btw! Looking forward to seeing your channel grow
Wouldn’t it be crazy if link was actually a part of Zelda or maybe... there actually the same person
Dun Dun DUN!!
twinsies! XD
Well. If malon has red hair and her dad has brown but carries a ressesive trait for red hair and malons mother has red hair theres a chance she would come out with red hair. Buuuut if her dad has the recessive trait for red hair and does the do with his sister who has the same recessive trait that could cause the child to have red hair.
any hair color could come from a grandpernt or futher back. I know some who mom and dad have brown and black hair but his is blond.
Malon could just have red hair dye
This is fair, there are some strange hair colors in the Zelda universe.
200th like!!!
Woo!
True, these were some of the theories I found interesting in the comments. It is true, a lot of them don't have much weight :p
Congratulations on 5k :/
thanks a bunch for helping me get there! Cheers!
