  • It's always been a dream of mine to have a full fledged LEGO City. Unfortunately I don't have the space for a dedicated LEGO Room. So I went with the next best option ... a LEGO City on SHELVES!
    This is a tour of my LEGO City Shelf where I show you all the different LEGO Modulars, LEGO MOCs and LEGO Vehicles I have displayed.

      The tables look kinda gross to me like a bad addiction gross 😂 I know this dude has a ton anyway it just looks way cleaner and cared for. I have a few Lego sets but I collect funko pops and I have over 100 in nice organizer shelves and they look clean and nice.

      YES! tables end up looking like a huge mess, especially given most cities are just modulars

    This more minimalist approach to a lego city display is much preferable compared to having rooms full of desks. You’ve inspired me to rearrange my sets with your fantastic idea !

    @alessdimensions8821 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    It is important to show this alternatives man, TH-cam at least it's so full of the same traditional table layout, were bigger is better, people can build whatever they want, but it is appreciated to see alternatives for others to get inspired and try it out, even if the space and budget is not the same, the pros of this layout is that you can set different scenes of a city, smaller neighborhoods, mor comercial areas, big busy areas, other cities just feel strange with having these all together in one table, while shelf divide the scenes and make it seem that you are picking veins of a big city, I don't know if this is the best way to do a city but it's a good option.

    Fantastic modular streets setup, and great to see the more down to earth reality that not all of us have the space for a massive modular city! I recently bought a house and while quite spacious, there isn't room for a massive modular city table either, so I've had to settle for a long modular street (9 full modulars in width) across the top of a bookshelf. In some ways I reckon this sort of street on a shelf can be better if it is all killer no filler which some of those giant cities end up being

    Great idea, I started on a big winter village on a very large table and realized I can never do what I want since I'd have too many tables around the house.
    So I'm attempting a little of what you're doing. Do it in a finite shelf space. I use less bricks and get more creative with the layouts.

    Very awesome city but I may be biased because my own shelves city is comprised of most of these buildings lol. I even have the Sitcomplex and noodle shop Mocs and currently building the Up house one. Though I have modified the noodle shop to have a tree and bench and table outside for outside dining and the floor above I’ve modified into a small martial arts studio (I used to go to a martial arts club packed into a small flat space so I found it cute to add it in). I don’t have the space for too many roads on my shelves so I’m a little jealous of your road display. Suppose it’s the choice between adding roads or using that space for more buildings cos I have a beach area on my lower shelves that have Ideas sets like the Lighthouse and Fishing store displayed and I couldn’t imagine removing them as much as it be nice to display more vehicles. I guess with limited space we have to be more creative and ruthless about what we choose to display.
