Thank you for your comment. This comparison is done in cpu and basic and beginner settings. In the following comparisons, we will consider more parameters for comparison. 🌱
Hmm... both the render engine has their strengths and weaknesses, but being from blender background, their workflow gives me a headache. Its like constant fiddeling with controls and plugins. Whereas in cycles, you are done with just a few clicks. Also the realtime workflow is faster in cycles. Among Vray and Corona, corona looks a better choice, but that 3ds max workflow and its UI makes me wanna vomit on my PC everytime I open it.
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. We hope that in the future, the problems of both rendering engines will decrease and create a user-friendly environment for everyone.
On the contrary, I feel using blender is counterproductive to me. Importing from sketchup often gives me inconsistent accuracy (missing objects, improper quads, etc). And what makes me want to stick to 3ds max is the ability to group objects flawlessly and separate them by layers. In blender, you can use container, but putting objects in container takes lot of time. In my projects, grouping is a must, I have to make around 300+ groups on average before I start working on my scene. Also, the ability to access multiple professional 3d assets such as 3dsky, bendtrade, etc. is what separate professional archviz artist from hobbyist using blender.
@@sambagyarta Yeah I agree on the sketchup part but a good archviz artist will never look towards SketchUp other than just to import some assets which work quiet seamlessly with newer versions of sketchup importer plugin. I have never used grouping so I wont know how that works or make the life easier but I think most of those can be taken care of with the collections and also parenting. Different workflows I guess, but what I like is the ability to work without even moving my mouse to fiddle with the tabs and buttons and that clumpsy autodesk UI. Its the UI that bugs me the most and it just gives me headache. Also having a huge library is good but its also so much time consuming to select the objects. But blender is also catching up pretty fast with blenderkit and other libraries. Also the professional libraries have already started giving out their blender versions so that's not much of a big deal. So lets enjoy what we have build the best we can. All these opinions are my personal. I started by learning 3ds max but was quickly bored with so many windows, tabs and buttons and the UI that I had to drop and move to Cinema4d. And after that to blender. But its good that Vray is coming to blender too. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the best of both the worlds.
I love 3ds Max and Vray. I'm open to learning Corona but this comparison is weird. (I'm only 2 minutes into the video, and questioning if I should even continue.) ---- Are both Corona and Vray using denoiser? You complain about Vray losing detail but that is exactly why you should turn off denoiser.
Thanks for your comment 🤍 This comparison is done under the same conditions and with the default criteria. Definitely, with more changes and the passage of time, I can reach the right output. In Corona, you can see the output of the work with a faster speed and reach the result.
Hello, Actually, when I'm comparing V-Ray to Corona Renderer, I lean towards V-Ray due to its status as one of the earliest and most influential render engines in the industry. While both share common functionalities, V-Ray offers a unique level of flexibility and control, particularly in its vast toolset and customizable configurations, from materials to scene setups. V-Ray's long-standing dominance in the market has led to a more developed and refined workflow, allowing for greater precision and adaptability in complex projects. While Corona is known for its user-friendly simplicity, V-Ray's depth and customization make it the superior choice for those who seek maximum control over their rendering process so in the end of it all, both are very powerful, dynamic, and versatile.
Actually there is no compare between corona R and vray R because the first use path tracing that is more powerful than the ray tracing which vray use so corona dealing with lightning much more better than vray. I don't know why vray don't use the path tracing which I think it will be the future of the engine render in the future. But I think that chaos add corona to there company so they have the tow engine each with different types of algorithm (path&ray) tracing.
Whatever the rendering engine is back again who uses it, there are some users who are more adept with vray with excellent results without psd, as well as corona. if the comparison of Vray CPU & Corona CPU, obviously Corona is superior in time, but not in detail, that's my opinion
Very interesting video, thanks a lot! But you should also compare speed and quality of V-Ray engine with Bucket sampler and Lightcache+Irradiance Map technique. That's where V-Ray takes huge advantage)
If you do with Bucket sampler and Lightcache+Irradiance Map, then the quality of realism will be far worse than corona, even less than chaosvantage. That method was only used 5 years ago
the first point is so misleading. u chose vray default engine for denoiser and it is a slow, u could've used nvidia denoiser which is much much faster. and if im not mistaken, corona uses the nvidia denoiser as well for interactive render and not the one u chose in the denoiser tab
First of all, thank you for your comment. These two rendering engines have many similarities. vray provides us with more possibilities in general. Of course, Corona is getting closer to vray day by day. I myself switched from Vray to Corona, but currently I use each depending on the needs of the project. In general, learning both is very convenient.
Test mal feito, Vray tem muito mais qualidade do que o test feito no video, este tipo de teste deve ser feito por quem entenda de renderizaçõa e saiba usar bem os dois programas.
vray has a lot of power in other cases and more control in the render setup, which was mentioned in the summary video, and in the future we will provide a video with more details.😌🙏🏻🌱
The recorded video is a comparison between the mentioned items. And during the video, it has been said many times that both rendering engines have their own advantages and the user can choose it according to his needs.

The unfortuate thing is that Chaos group own both render engines, so its not in their best inerests to give one all the bells and whistles and instead make them both have pros and cons.
Thank you for your comment. You spell it right and this is the policy of this company so that it can have specific customers for each rendering engine.
A very detailed and practical comparison👏🏻thank u 🌟
Thanks 😊🌱
Is this gpu or cpu? Light cash or brute force? Is the color management ACES? There’s so much missing information.

Absolutely 👍. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Trabajo con los 2. Buena comparación ✨✨
thanks for your comment
You could use in Corona 2d pan zoom, it works like real zoom in Vray
Yes, this item works. thanks
Corona CPU faster that V-Ray GPU in rendering time ?!? It's a joke your test ?
no my friend Corona is faster if we put both engines on cpu. If you pay attention, the gpu in Viri is one of its most attractive features.
True
As I know, Vantage will support Corona materials soon, so it will be great if you have expensive graphic card
Yes, this item was introduced in Chaos Unboxed.
💕💕
vantage will available soon in corona actually
Yes, this is very good news.
Perfect 👌🏼🔥🔥
thanks ❤️❤️
wow!!
Thanks 🤍
nice video!
Thanks buddy 🤍🌱
Me confuse in blender it's not a user friendly, but corona render is way more better than vray, I just use vray becoz of chaos vantage

you can enable path rendering in v-ray (experimental feature still)
Thanks for a great comparison. I’ve been using corona for about a year for archviz and now I’m trying to learn vray for a bit more accuracy
Sounds good 👌
It's not correct
But Corona Crashes lot more than Vray, that’s why I prefer Vray

Actually I have used both but I found Corona to be better and easier.

is corona good for revit????

how we can work between enscape & vray?? i mean which version of the both programs needed for this function??
Thanks for your comment. 💕
You need enscape 3.5.6 and higher and vray 6.2
With the help of this transition, you can use the full capabilities of vray to get the output.😊

I think the real zoom effect can be achieved in corona with the 2d pan zoom. I dont know if it doesnt work for everyone.
Yes, you are absolutely right
If we talk about rendering speed Vray with GPU beats corona, that cannot be ignored
Yes, it cannot be ignored. It is true.
Muy buena comparación amigo, para mí corona ganó por el tiempo y la velocidad y el precio también, corona siempre ha tenido una calidad aceptable
