Nah, those battery packs suck lol.. bought one from Walmart and it worked 1 time.. never worked again lol even let it “charge” for almost 3 days. Took it out in the woods one winter morning for some target practice 🤣🫡
Thank you! I was waiting for 20 min for this to stop blinking, when you tried it anyway, I was like ok... and it started! Idk how long I would have been here.
Its cheap and it works but you get what you pay for. Mine worked great for awhile in the beginning and i guess it depends on how often you use it and because its light weight im sure there is a little moped battery in it and mine wont jump a car anymore or even a cell phone. Another thing is the compressor has a automatic shutoff when it gets hot( let it cool down before continuing to inflate your tire) mother in law burned the seal or something buy inflating all 4 of her ford expedition tires in one go. Now i just use it as a door stop🤣
It helps to note: the 120 volt AC charger cord is not included. Also curious to learn why every manual/video says that you should never connect the negative to the battery, only to the vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery? Yet in this video he connected both the negative and positive clamps to the battery.
Thank you so much ...Deafie here and need very detailed plus visual narratives since i won't hear the devices functioning......You clearly gave step by step directions that answered 2 of my questions that no other video shared..... other videos didn't say i could just apply the negative cable to the negative battery part if unsure about where to place it on the metal parts of the vehicle and the psi part confused me...Never used USB on this but know how now thanks.... I have this exact jump starter and have been desperate to get my vehicle running Happy Lady Here
I have seen this unit work but behaving in a different way. I don't know what's the "correct" way with this thing. In your video you was waiting for that blinking engine icon to be steady. You couldn't wait anymore and just started the car and it worked. Other videos there is a warning icon and it's beeping. That guy in the video was able to get it started. In my experience I had the same issue with the warning icon and the constant beeping and it didn't help me. Maybe I had to wait longer. But this unit is weird.
Helped me out. I bought one exactly like yours. I turned the red switch to the right but it didn't stay there. It wouldn't work. Thought it was a preloaded switch but obviously I didn't turn it until to clicked to stay at the ON. thanks.

@@PlatinumHustle , If your battery had bad cells it'll damage the charger, bad batteries keep working until they get all your charge system shut down...
To charge it, I literally had to dig through my electronics misc bag to find a specific outdoor Christmas light ext cord that I bought on sale after Christmas at target for $3 in 2017 😭😂😂 I was like “now what if I wasn’t a pack rat, then what?”
Thanks! I was so worried that I wouldn't follow the instructions correctly that I was reluctant to use it for the first time but your video was very helpful.
I got one all you do is connect it to the battery and go crank it and stsrt it right up no need to let it set its not to charge its to boost the battery enough to get it running
Thanks for the video. It looks like I'm going to have to read the manual anyways. Ur video shows u connecting cables to positive and negative. I watched a different video where the guy said the manual says connect the positive to the positive battery postl. And connect the negative to a piece of metal on ur car. Not to the negative battery post. Both cars started in the video. But his beeped a lot.
Ur video worked out for me. Connecting to a piece of metal wouldn't start my car. I don't know why the company would recommend using it that way? It's ppl like u with common sense that help others by making these videos.

@@PlatinumHustle you have to put it on the battery and on a piece of metal under the hood.. wasn't working for me at first either... But it does work, I can say that...
Great video... Do you know what it means when the engine icon is blinking and above it is an upside down triangle with an explanation point inside of the triangle blinking???
That means it's not properly connected to the battery terminals. Like if you turn the switch on but the cables aren't connected to a battery, that warning triangle icon will show. If you connect the cables to the wrong battery terminals, that same warning triangle will show and there will be 2 arrows underneath it. Never connect the cables to the battery with the dial switched to on. Connect the cables first and check if there is a warning triangle, then if there is no warning you can turn the dial to on.
I heard never place the negative on the battery but on any grounded metal on your car. Claims it could possibly blow up the battery. Ive been using it like you are.
My air compressor Port doesn't work right? It keeps reading that there's way more air pressure than there is. It reads that it's at 1 60. My tire can't even hold that much
Cause it might not have enough charge to jump the vehicle straight out of the box... You can try it in a pinch but if it doesn't work thats probably the reason
@@a.m.doesit9347 I understand that part. I actually did use it out the box and it worked 3x lol. But im curious to know why gotta keep it 24 hours str8. But each time i take it off the charger and say turn the light on for a second and put it back on the charger the battery goes down 1 notch
It's because it might have been sitting on the shelf for a year or more which is bad for a lead-acid battery. A good 24-hour charge will help make sure the battery is actually fully charged. You have to keep in mind that the chargers in a lot of these things are dumb. They can be fooled into thinking a half-charged battery is full, or they keep trying to charge a fully-charged battery and ruin it. When you turn the light on or something you're taking the float charge off of the battery so the voltage drops from 13 to 12.5 or something similar. That's why the meter drops a bar. I use actual battery maintainers to charge my jump boxes, they do a much better job and can make them last years longer.
You can do both. The reason for suggesting connection to the body rather than the battery is because sometimes you might get a spark and if the spark hit the gasses coming out of the battery it might explode. That is rare. A friend of mine and I were jump starting a vehicle and while leaning over the battery while hooking it up, it sparked and blew up in his face. I believe he was wearing glasses so none of the acid got directly in his eyes and we flushed his face quickly.
I THOUGHT THAT U R SUPPOSED TO PUT THE NEGATIVE ONTO A PIECE OF METAL ON THE CAR AND NOT THE NEGATIVE OF THE BATTERY??? OR MAYBE EVEN BOTH WAYS ARE OK??
I've always had trouble jumping cars when you connect to a piece of metal cause half the time you never get a good contact... Also I think it usually only applies to when you're jumping with another car
The directions even say not to connect to both charges of battery being it can blow up or damage your computer of your vehicle…js yet it would direct all charge to battery so it does seem confusing
@@kmil1967 I will tell you the real reason. It can cause a spark when the clamp connects to the negative and very rarely cause an explosion from gas vented by a lead acid batt. Connecting it to a ground has no spark risk but if your cars grounds are dirty where it connects to the frame or where the clamp goes your connection will be weak.
Es fácil bro, sólo lo conectas como en el vídeo, aunque recomiendan que el negativo a una parte metálica y ya le das, la espera es por si está totalmente descargada cargue un poco si no dale de inmediato
Piece of junk!!. Mine started leaking some kind of liquid/acid. Walmart did not accept the return, and the manufacturer sent me to a website that will respond to my question regarding this unit for $46.00. Bad experience altogether.
Doesn't work, at all. Don't waste your money. 2 hrs and couldn't start a battery that was new with an initial voltage of 12.2V. My neighbor let me use his Stanley FatMax and the car started in the blink of an eye. Stay away from it.
Guys these cheap jumper is kinda hard to Understand, now after many ways of trying to make it work i finally found the way it works.. once is connect to both terminals, if you don’t see a little triangle in the middle of the jaws and the beeping it wont work or it will the long to start the car. If you plug the jaws the and you dont see the little triangle appear just disconnect the jaws and try until the triangle appear you might try a few times.
Do not waste your money on these things. They do not last. Air compressor only worked ONCE. Inflating a tire from 22lbs yo 32lbs. Followed instructions but they are extremely cheaply made. Nothing but chinese junk, cheap and unreliable.
