Your tables extenders are the best the best idea ever!👍👍👍They have saved my back, and my friends were amazed at the idea. I use those always. Mine actually nest inside my folding table. I put rubber chair boots on the bottoms, so they really keep the table legs from slipping around on the gravel. Great advice for fun camping. ❤❤❤. Your videos always get me geared up for my next trip!❤🏕⛺️🪵
I was glad to see your video drop in my feed this morning Frazier. I hope you and your family are in good health, and enjoying this beautiful Spring weather. As always, your camp kitchen setup is a prime example of efficiency. Looks like everything is useful and there as needed. When we camp, it's not nearly that well organized, lol. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks for the note mrbr. Seems like it’s been a long time since I’ve heard from you. Hope you are well. I’m definitely feeling my 77 years and having a little difficulty moving around (bad right knee & hip). We have 2 trips planned this spring but I need to get a little more mobile before I can go. Going to physical therapy twice a week. Eva just had cataracts removed from each eye in the past week and she is still recovering. So, I’m hoping we can get out this year but not not too far from home. Take care.
Thanks for sharing your experience, and Ideas, I really appreciate the advice from your tips on camping video, alot of that stuff is only realized afterwards of a good rainy night, I didn’t think about the ground tarp not sticking out more than your tent, but it makes sense, and the advice about being able to get out your cooking gear without having to unpack everything, I like the milk crate idea, I am using clear plastic totes for my kitchen stuff and my clothes, because of the water tightness, and you can see the contents without having to open it up. Thanks again! Hope you guys are doing good!
Awesome presentation! Thinking of your chuck box door. You could make a “bottom shelf” for the milk crates to sit on and put some hinges on the front cover you have and then put two bungee latches on top of the crates. Just a thought.
Great video, you have it down... well organized, perfectly placed gear. 👌 I do so many different kind of camping, and have so many types of camping gear. I never bring the same thing on each trip. Thank you for sharing this video, I really enjoyed watching it. Take care Frazier D. Friend... 🇺🇲
Thanks Jason. I really enjoy cooking on our camping trips. Anxious to hear more about that Tombstone trip. How do local historians view Wyatt Earp? Good guy or bad guy? The Clantons sure had a lot of local support back then. Regards to your family.
@@moderntentcamping... I didn't hear from any local historians, I heard one guy say that Wyatt Earp was a bully. I'm not too sure how true this statement is.
Oooh! I like you little wood divider/shelf on that milk crate. I have a similar cooler but have discovered that the raccoons at the park I visited recently learned how to open them and they made away with my sausage! They even left behind a perfectly placed paw print to Le me know who the thieves were! I’ve managed to get all my cooking gear including x2-1 lb propane bottles, condiments, my “tea kit”, and cleaning supplies into once milk crate (for solo trips). I still tend to bring too much food, but I’m getting better at estimating what I need for a particular trip with an extra 1-2 day ration for emergencies (depending on where I go).
Those raccoons are smart little buggers. Nothing in the campsite is safe from them. And their numbers seem to be increasing every year. I don’t know how they are in Texas but there are hundreds in Wisconsin. Wish parks would do a better job of controlling their numbers. Thanks for the note Mendy. Hope you are doing well.
@@moderntentcamping they make havoc in my garden at home and dig up newly planted plants looking for grubs. The breaking into ice chests seems to be a newly developed evolutionary skill.
thank you so much for your for your videos! my son went with me on our second camping trip in over 25 years. The first one was a disaster because it rained and I knew nothing about camping lol. This second one was great thanks to your camp training videos! I did not get a hold of crates, but I bought some collapsible crates that are very similar. and they worked great. I’m a huge fan! if it is possible. Would you do a training on making a camp fire? our campfire skills are not that great. Actually it was a disaster 😂. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for you and your wife doing these videos.
Thanks Camelliyah for your note and kind words. It makes me very happy to hear that my videos are helpful. Regarding fires, have you seen this video? th-cam.com/video/iK2cFgB2gks/w-d-xo.html
Get a Solo Stove Campfire. It’s super small and transportable. Also easy to get going. We just use one on a camping trip. The key is to cut the wood to length and ensure it doesn’t extend higher than the top air holes. Low smoke. very warm. Highly recommend
@@fearfeasog First, we try to cook, eat, and clean up before dark (when raccoons come out) Eva usually washes dishes on the camp picnic table in warm water in one of our cook pots heated on the stove or campfire - usually a 4-quart enamelware pot. I usually rinse the dishes by pouring cold water over them and catching the sudsey water in a grey water bucket. Then I dry and put them away while Eva cleans the table and gets the garbage ready. We usually discard the garbage on the way to the shower house. Thanks for the note.
She has posted a few but I’ll try to get her to do a few more. She does cook some good Mexican foods but it’s hard for her to explain them in English. Thanks for the note.
Good to see you. Looking forward to the upcoming season. Happy travels
