Sachiko Fujinuma, Satoru's mom, from Erased, Izumi Curtis, a mother figure for Edward and Alphonse, from Full Metal Alchemist, and Yuriko Gouda, Takeo's mom, from My Love Story!! Your choice were great. I need to read a couple of those mangas so I can become familiar with all of them. The mom's from A Silent Voice both kick butt. Happy Mother's Day Mom Weeb!
Satoru's mom was pretty awesome! We've only seen the anime of Erased, so that's likely why we didn't consider her.

Great video once again! It is kinda depressing to think how few present and good mom figures there are in manga, but you guys had some great picks. Bulma’s just a cool character all around, and I agree she’s the hidden mvp for both Dragon Ball and DBZ.
I think an interesting video concept would be to continue along these lines - best friendship group in manga, best mentor figure, etc. (…maybe not best dead soldier lol 😅) You don’t really see these things being discussed in the manga community, but they do make for good conversation and it’s cool to examine various series along with different focuses in mind. Plus, like you guys mentioned in the video, you just play off each other’s picks so nicely!
Also - loved the Gilmore Girls shirt and thumbnail! If Lorelei were a manga mom, she’d definitely shoot straight to the top! Flawed yet ever willing to go to bat for her child 😊

This was a fun one, lots of great picks from manga I have and haven't read yet. Looking at my manga, I can't think of any additions except like someone else said in the comments, Izumi Curtis from FMA. Sorry about that... But isn't the statute of limitations expired on Kare Kano? It is like a 20 year old manga.
@@meettheweebfamily I understand where you could have that mindset but I’ve only just recently got into manga these last 3-4 years and I haven’t gotten around to reading everything I’ve wanted to. In this case Kare kano is one I wanted to read eventually but didn’t prioritize, so while I think you aren’t wrong for spoiling it you could still try to warn people if possible. Either way what’s done is done, not the end of the world.
Again, apologies. We never intentionally spoil manga, but sometimes (due to the channel format) we just get on a roll conversationally and blurt out things. Also, we had already had Kare Kano spoilers last video, so I especially didn't think about it during this video.
