Snow leopards are the closest relatives to tigers
In my language (kazakh) we call them Bars/barys(barses for multiple) and/or snow bars/barys. They live in the mountains around south east of Kazakhstan. They are cool tho

Kai didn't use two weapons. He used a staff with blades on both ends. When Oogway destroyed it he decided to use the staff as knives on chains.

While its true that snow leopards prey upon pandas, they are actually incapable of hunting fully grown pandas, which is probably why they chose to showcase a panda versus a snow leopard. Showcasing that Po has reached a stage of maturity where a snow Leopard is no longer considered a threat.

0:33 someone said in a clip of Kung fu panda 1 (PO’s dream) that the wolves Might not be just a reference to kfp2 but, a sign that Po has repressed unconscious memories hidden from him…and even though he doesn’t remember it, it still affects unknowingly effects him
Like the dream where a good few bandits are wolves. To me, it seems like he thinks wolves are bad animals for no reason and has a strong dislike for them. But doesn’t know why. Until a few years later, of course.
They made that finger death hold 1000x better in the video game simply by having him go, "Skadoosh"

The doodle on his wall with the shurikens in it is actually "the unstoppable bull" that the furious five first fought when they formed. The fight that got po into kung fu as he watched it. Come on man, review ALL lore before hand. Besides, Ki's horns are taller, narrower and spiked.

notice there r 6 shurikens around Kai. Could that represent something. Idk maybe Po with the furious 5? I also notice one of those shurikens are kinda blurry and u didn't point an arrow at the 6th shuriken. I think that shuriken represents Po when he first joined the team and the 5 shurikens u pointed arrows at represent the furious five as they were famous longer than Po.

This is wild but Tai lung and tigress might of been cousins or brother sister because tigers and a snow leopard are so different and that explains on why they were both left all by there since tigress was left at an orphanage and tai lung was left in front the jade palace and maybe there parents both died and first there mother died but tigress is a girl meaning her dad was snow leopard but tigress mom was a tiger but soon her dad died and before her mom sent tigress dad the universe mail like in kung fu panda 3 on how po s real father by the universe mail to leave tai lung and tigress will meet boom my theory there ya go my reaction when i noticed that
What did I think of
I disagree with Shifu as a red panda, since he doesn't have the "tears" marks by the eyes.
I always thought it was more of a fennec fox, hence why he's so small relative to everyone
also red panda's arent even panda's so the entire point doesnt work even if he was a red panda
How do his pants not rip tear often or fall more? Plus for his size I noticed his chest stays surprisingly flat instead of accumulating fat deposits like his belly .

That just isn't Kai. Like, Not even a little. The third film established very early that Kai is completely forgotten by the annals of history. Not even Shifu knows who Kai is until he appears. And even if Po knew who Kai was, he'd know about the panda village and chi, the main reason why Kai turned evil.
