RIP Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 - July 6, 1971), aged 69 And RIP Dean Martin (June 7, 1917 - December 25, 1995), aged 78 You both will be remembered as legends.
There will never ever be another entertainer like Dean Martin. Period. Born to entertain and bring fun and joy to millions of people. He was loved around the world and will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Deano.
I remember sitting on my dad's lap when I was a very little girl and watching Louis Armstrong sing When the Saints Go Marching In on Ed Sullivan Show in 1961. He stole my heart that night and never gave it back. Love you, Louis, I'm certain you're one of the Saints Marching In.
WOW! Moments where LEGENDS just kill it having fun & loving each other. You'd wish they'd made music together more that we can ALL listen to. So noticeable! LOVE THIS!
I come back to this clip every day since the last 3-4 mths. Intending to recharging the batt and refresh my atmospheres.😊 Works every time! Many thanks.
Those last 30 seconds brings me back here again and again. He's so much enjoy his moments, and his company.😊 so beautiful to watch the sincerelity and talented. Have a lovely weekend.
Wow! I sure miss those old TV variety shows. They just don't have the folksy folks now, that we had back then. "Dino", "Satch", and numerous other "Gone But Not Forgotten" entertainers.
Watching a beautiful miracle...! Such an awesome recording! Praise God for these men & their talent, and for leading the human race to discover the technology of preservation...!
That was a magnificent duo dino and Louie those songs rocka-nye my baby, and when the saints go marching on were a special gift for Ll generation to enjoy foreever.
When I was young, this was the caliber of entertainment you saw on your television. You can't get this quality for $500.00 tickets in an arena. Talented artist are gone.
Gee Dean Martin you are absolutely a treasure you and Louie Armstrong bloody fantastic gosh people don't know how much entertainment we had Please you Tube never loose these fabulous days thanks heaps forever always remembered
Dean Martin and Louis Armstrong were Gentlemen's GENTLEMEN. So was Frank Sintara, Sammy Davies Jnr., and Duke Elllington. They saw people and never the colour of the skin. That is why they are Legends of all time.
I was too young to have seen Dean's shows and such live and thought of him as kind of a lightweight, but as I'm watching these clips, I'm developing more respect for his talents. He and Louis Armstrong were certainly having fun here.
That's what it's all about. Forget about the audience. Just have fun doing what you love to do! This is why Dean and Jerry were so successful. Two guys just having fun.
Just think about this. He was equally successful in film (comedy & drama), live performance, radio, recording, television, as part of an acclaimed duo & as a solo artist. Only Bing Crosby can match this record. Lightweight? We should all be so lucky! 🎞🎙📻 💿 📺
I'm sure everyone who hears it smiles

Dean Martin - ain't that a kick in the head
One of his performances of “Where or When” on his show in 1970 or 71 he hit some really high notes at the end.
Class, sophistication, elegance; the GOLDEN AGE of entertainment! And here we have two of the greatest!
Not just talent, or musicianship, but PERSONALITY!! Where are they now?!
There are a lot of good artists but they are not that famous.

Love Dean tremendously. Louis was a perfect foil for him. And from his smile, you can tell Dean knew it, too.
